This restaurant has some pretty good food. It has its days of 'really good' and 'the chef was on vacation today'. In 2024 and earlier last year we were disappointed a few times. so we stopped ordering from there. But I tried again before Christmas 2025 and I think the chef got back from vacation. But we only order the Drunken noodles which are Very Good now. But branch out and order the things other people recommend. The prices are very reasonable. I usually only order to take out. We have ordered food from here three times. The first time, it was dined in and we thought the lady was rude,but didn't think much of it since it she's older and plus the food was good. The second time it was take out and she wasn't that rude. But the third time we went there, it was the worse. We dined in and when we got there she gave us only three plates when we were four. I personally said thank you and she ignored it. Didn't think much since I talk low sometimes. She came back to take our order and my mom said thank you and she once again ignored it. She goes on to the table with two white people and she is smiling and laughing with them. When we were eating, she was taking calls for the restaurant and after hanging up would say bad things about the people. She continued to be rude towards us. When it came time to pay we quickly gave her the money and she took it. I was still eating and she took my plate without asking left me shook. When she brought back the change, we still gave her the average tip even after the terrible service. She took it back to the cashier and threw the money and said "this is shit." My mom replied with, "do you have a problem?" She said, "what?" and my mom repeated, "do you have a problem with the tip?" The lady started walking away and said "no, it's just cheap, this is shit." Found this Thai place less than a mile from our apartment. It's just a little shop but it was clean and the server was very attentive and good at refilling our drinks quickly. We shared the Thai Eggrolls, the Peanut Noodles with Chicken and the Drunken Noodle with Beef. I am a huge lover of peanut sauce and this dish did not disappoint. The flavor was on spot and it came with lots of vegetables. The Drunken Noodle was full of vegetables, too. Great flavor and quick service. Next time, we might try carry out. If you haven't been there, you have to check it out! We ordered Chicken satay, Fish cakes, Crab Rangoon, Egg rolls, Orange chicken, Garlic and pepper beef, Pad thai with chicken, Pad see ew with chicken, Curry fried rice with tofu, Massaman curry with beef no onions It was enjoyed by all and so tasty! This restaurant was chosen entirely due to location (i.e. it's next door to the Galloping Ghost Arcade, which was our destination for the day), but it ended up being a good option. Most of their service must be take out, since there are ony like 8 tables (but in an immaculate setting: mint green walls, white table cloths and dark red napkins). On a frosty Saturday evening we were the only diners, though some orders were coming in by phone. No surprise, our meals came up fast! Our crab ragoon was crispy and hot, the melting centers of cream cheese a decadent indulgence (though seemingly devoid of anything else). Our entrees (drunken noodles for him, panang curry chicken for me) were both great, and came garnished with heart-shaped vegetables (presumably a carry-over from Valentines Day the day before). If you'd like an alcoholic beverage, you can BYOB. This is a distant destination for me on its own, but I would definitely return on my next return to the arcade! read more

Had such a good time here after coming to Brookfield zoo for a day and we were craving some yummy Thai food in the area so we found this place on yelp. We were a little worried as the place is super small and there was no one there on a Saturday night but it surpassed our expectations. Once we sat down the lady who seemed to be the owner/waitress was super nice and brought us all waters right away. We ordered a bunch of appetizers from crab Rangoon, to spring rolls to fried veggie rolls, everything was very tasty and brought out super hot from the kitchen. Then for our entrees I ordered the tofu pad Thai as I try not to get chicken out so much and it was a very delicious and hot pad Thai that even my twins had some and they normally don't eat pad Thai. My friends also seemed to really enjoy their food with everything they had. Definitely a tasty little gem with nice ownership in the Brookfield area. Yes, but not as good as the legendary PS Bangkok which is about a third of the coat here. We ordered spring rolls, 2 tomkar chicken soups and beef pad ew see. The spring rolls were very good actually, the soup was very bland though and the beef pad ew see was horrible. They seemed over cooked but what was worse was that the meal had a ton of burnt pieces of something and I just remembered this as I tried to have the food as leftovers for lunch. The Zoo, Thai Food & BYOB. Basically my three favorite things and they all came together last Sunday. I've gone to the zoo every other week for years and this place a 6 minute drive from the there... I don't know how I went so long without coming here. The place is easy to drive right by on Ogden, and turning left into here can be a real bitch, but they do have a small parking lot in between buildings. It's very cute inside but teeny tiny, you can maybe fit 15 people comfortably... *maybe*. The decor and tabel settings were adorable but I gotta be real, the silverware could have looked a lot cleaner. They kind of looked like when I do the dishes and I just kind of half-ass wipe them. The menu is pretty expansive and varied, but also easy to read and sectioned off comprehensively with plenty of photos. There was a great little vegetarian section with a variety of curry dishes. I guess normally there's fish sauce or something in there. We started with the vegetarian spring rolls, which I loved, but my other dining partners thought were just okay. I got a Thai Iced Tea that was giant and nothing short of magical. Both my dining partners got different types of curry, which were served in perfectly heaping portions. My spicy basil tofu, requested extra, extra spicy was beautiful. With this carved out carrot that was basically a piece of edible art. I think as far as spicy basil tofu, they serve up one of the best I've ever had. h, and their Tom Yum is no joke either. fresh mushrooms, garden-flavor tomatoes, so good. The service wasn't super friendly, but they were on point refilling our waters about 3,000 times because apparently after a long zoo day we're the thirstiest people on the planet. read more

A small treasure tucked into the least expected place to have a delicious Thai restaurant. Brookfield isn't one of those fancy bustling well-to-do towns, but there are a few good places to go. This is one of them. We started with the chicken satay. They were a decent size with a delicious peanut sauce. The fried tofu was just as tasty too (I know... how can you make tofu tasty, but it's good). Then I ordered the Pad Thai because it's a great way for me to judge how good the food is. It did not disappoint. The portion was very generous, I had leftovers for the next day. My husband ordered the ginger chicken because it's his favorite and he said it's just the right taste. There was enough ginger taste with just a tiny kick. If you're looking for a nice quiet Thai place with good service and larger portions, this is the place to try. read more

My very good friend and I love Thai. Our usual BYOB was mysteriously closed for the evening, so I did a search and Fine Thai came up as the next closest option. We walk in. It's a pretty small space. The hostess/server is standing behind the counter holding menus and looking at us with a totally blank stare. We looked at each other and decided to just choose a table on our own. It was awkward. Aforementioned server comes to our table to give us menus WITHOUT A WORD. No, "Welcome." or "Hi, I'm Carrie Crabbypants and I'll be your server tonight.". We felt totally uncomfortable. As though we were intruding. I wanted to say, "Um...we are so sorry! We'll just eat really fast and then leave, is that ok?" It's also personally necessary for me to mention that it was 84 degrees in the dining room. We knew that because the thermostat was on the wall over my friend's head. It's difficult to enjoy something, specifically hot Thai food, when your pants are plastered to the lower half of your body like Saran Wrap. Speaking of the food - it was pretty good. Not the best Thai ever by any means, but good. The crab rangoon was yummy. My entree was large enough that it made for a nice lunch for me at work the next day. The prices were reasonable, and we appreciate BYOB places. These are the ONLY reasons this place gets 3 stars, in my opinion. And it's a weak 3 at that. More like 2.75. However the rest of the experience was so disappointing that I already know we won't be back to give it a second chance. I have a weird thing about Thai joints. I should be at one three times a week, for when I eat at one, I keep remembering how much I adore the cuisine. I had a video shoot in Brookfield recently, and after our wrap, I wanted to take the lads out for a bite, having tired of the order-in Italian we had been living on. The fellow who owned the Studio we were shooting at (Sam Sulla, by the way, a ridiculously talented photographer whom I heartily recommend) said "anyone like Thai?" and not giving a sh!t if anyone did or not, I said YES! So we landed up at this tiny tiny place on Ogden, with about 2 1/2 tables. No one at any of them...I had a bit of trepidation, but Sam (who I learned is an abject and unrepentant foodie like me) assured me that this was the place. Here is where this review kind of goes to hell, 'cos I can't remember exactly what I or he guys had, save for the fact that it all was terribly good! And the real reason I'm writing this review is to say, that if you like your Thai Food HOT, and I don't mean temperature hot, I mean spicy-real deal-give you colitis-burn you ass out HOT! They will understand your order here. Just tell them you want your curry, etc. THAI HOT, and you will get a bowl of fire that retains all and every little bit of flavor. This place is called "The Grudge Thai Place" among my family. My husband ordered from here over 3 years ago and never forgot how SLOW they were. It took an 1.5 hours to get the food. The person in the phone was rude too. Three years later, it took 1 hour and 25 minutes. I called twice to make sure they were coming too. This time the person on the phone was polite. Positives: I could understand the lady on the phone and felt like she understood English well enough. I liked the scale of spicy offered and thought the dish matched it well.
