Cozy Thai Restaurant in Riverside/Berwyn Area. We ordered Seafood Basil, Chicken Pad Thai, and Hot Chicken Basil. Everything was Authentic and the Hot Basil Chicken was our favorite dish. They offer reasonably priced lunch specials. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Thank You

Asiano is a very good Asian restaurant. And when I say Asian restaurant, I mean they cook a variety of Asian foods - Japanese/Thai/Chinese food etc. It's really cool that there's so much variety of food on their menu, also I didn't know this previously but from 12-3 PM they have a discounted lunch menu so keep an eye out for that, We arrived around 2:30 PM to dine in, they have like 4 tables inside because it's a smaller restaurant, but we were seated instantly and brought menus. Frank (who I assume is the owner - great name by the way! Lol) was very friendly and attentive and made sure our orders were cooked to exactly how we wanted them. We ordered Red Thai Curry - we ordered a Shrimp one and a Salmon one. You can adjust it to your spice level an a scale from 0-5. The red curry was delicious, I ordered #5 spicy level and it wasn't overwhelmingly hot, it had a good flavor to it like sweet and decently spicy. I want to go back and try their sushi/poke bowl or Mongolian beef next time, the menu is just huge. I would absolutely recommend a visit for lunch or dinner if you're in the area and want any kind of Asian food.

AMAZING. The food quality and portions are excellent. This place has only been opened for three months! My friend looked up the business online. When we pulled up we hesitated because the outside does not look like much. There are pictures of Thai food on the windows and it gives the appearance of an Asian takeout place. But one step inside and we realized oh that is not the case at all! First off this is a super CLEAN place. I love the simple decor, very bright white tables with black seating. Modern looking. The meals are great. We started with fried tofu and dipping sauce. My friend got a Thai iced coffee and I had a sip, sweet and really good. We got soup - he got Tom Kha soup and I got miso. Mmmm huge pieces of tofu and seaweed. It was very satisfying. I got an Asiano salad and it came out fresh with a side of peanut sauce. The waiter gave us a complimentary serving of spring rolls which was so nice! It's the little things that matter. The rolls were hot and delicious. My friend had chicken pad Thai lunch special with spicy sauce. He really enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are super nice. I would definitely dine here again.

This is a family owned and operated Thai Asian fusion restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. Everything is made fresh daily and the portions are great. There is a parking lot which is very nice for Riverside and very clean! This is a new hidden gem located on Harlem next to Starbuds. Both go hand in hand. Do not miss out.

I wanted rich but simple straightforward flavors for lunch and I got it. The egg foo young was not greasy or over-fried, had plenty of medium sized shrimp beansprouts and green onions. The rice was very good, each grain of rice was separate and lightly glazed in soy, had a slight smokey flavor from what i assume was a high heat wok. Simple ingredients and dishes but very complex umami rich flavors in the egg foo young and rice and both dishes had been perfectly cooked. Egg roll was basic and lacking enough filling in my opinion but still crispy and tasty. For $14 including tax and credit card service charge it was a good price.

The portion sizes, the flavors, the drinks(!) = all top notch! It's so unfortunate that I moved away or else I would be here significantly more often now. I had the Coco Loco drink and it blew my socks off. It was so refreshing and felt like I needed it on a beach. It tasted like a stronger Pina Colada. The drinks are $15 but I think they could potentially be worth it because of the amount of quality/size you get. Actually, the price of all the dishes were a bit much but you will definitely have leftovers for the next day. Good vibes. Thank you Chef Shangri-La, I'll be seeing you soon! Personal Review: 8.9/10

The evening started off wonderfully. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food absolutely delivered. The Wagyu Crispy Rice remains a 10/10 and is worth ordering every single time. We also shared the fried chicken and pork belly bao buns, which my husband and our friends couldn't stop talking about. Everyone loved their meals, and we left completely stuffed. Unfortunately, one interaction put a damper on an otherwise great dinner. My husband has had a white fish allergy for 32 years. He can safely eat certain fish like tuna, salmon, and trout, so he usually has limited sushi options but still enjoys it. He ordered what appeared to be a safe roll, but after the first bite realized it contained masago. We asked what type of fish their masago comes from, and the server confirmed it was from a white fish. Thankfully, he noticed immediately and didn't have a reaction. The server did offer to have the roll remade, which we appreciated. However, before doing so, she repeatedly told us that she and the chef "think all fish are white," implying that his allergy didn't really make sense. Hearing that several times felt dismissive of a very real allergy he's managed his entire life. Food allergies aren't something anyone should have to defend while dining out. To end the meal, they kindly brought out The Ridiculous dessert and the coconut cheesecake for my husband's birthday, and both were delicious. However, the moment was a bit overshadowed when the server mentioned, "We normally don't give these as birthday desserts, but because of what happened, we did." While I'm sure it wasn't intended that way, it came across as passive-aggressive rather than hospitable. Overall, the food was outstanding and absolutely lives up to Sunda's reputation. I'd happily return for the Wagyu Crispy Rice and everything else we tried. My only criticism is that a little more sensitivity and understanding around food allergies--and a bit more tact in how situations are communicated--would have made an excellent dining experience truly exceptional.

The restaurant wasn't busy at 7pm on Sunday. We ordered a few drinks, a few different dishes, and an entry from the kids' menu. We quickly received our drinks, which were delicious and exciting. A balanced drink containing tamarind? Come on! We then got our first dish, the Wagyu crispy rice. Amazing. Delicious. Then our sushi came out. Also great! Then Adobe fried rice with pork belly. Super satisfying! But then... a total stall. We hadn't yet received our edamame or our chicken entree. Our server asked if we wanted the check. At that point, our food had time to sit and no one was hungry. So our server asked if we were ready for the check. Sure. Our check arrived at the same time our chicken dish showed up. And still no edamame, which was an appetizer. We were also given another table's bill, which was totally different than ours and showed a credit for something and a zero balance. It was fixed, and we ended up paying our $50ish per person with the only adjustment being that we didn't pay for the edamame we never received. Obvious disconnect between the kitchen and service. But the food we did receive was exceptional. Drinks were novel and playful. But forgetting food and a weird service pace really diminished the overall elegance of Sunda. I feel like we drastically overpaid for the dining experience. We are on a family vacation, so instead of memories of a great meal we instead have a story of that messed up service and the weirdness that surrounded.

This place was shockingly delicious. Let's start with the elephant in the room... time. It took longer than I was expecting to receive my food, however there is a really good reason for that. The wings were prepared perfectly. I do mean perfectly. Juicy, but completely cooked and crispy. I seriously doubt these were frozen fried because the wings were cleaned very well. I've been to wing places serving every 4th wing still has a feather (yuck) or overly breaded or salted. Not this place! These wings have an incredible crispy texture but still hot and flavorful. I was considering 12 wings or more just so I could try different flavors but I settled on an 8 piece combo. Instead of fries I elected fried corn seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Very tasty. For the wings , I chose two flavors I wasn't experienced with: 1st salted egg. This was a very interesting flavor that had a powdery texture but a finish that wasn't overly salty but incredibly flavorful. The 2nd was Buldak & Gochujang and that was sweet and savory with a light touch of heat. These flowers really intensify the perfectly cooked chicken. The presentation was also well placed. I never thought I would give 5 stars to a chicken wing place but anything less would be unfair to the cook/chef and staff of this place. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. My only frustration is ... I'm visiting from Denver so I can't get this place without a flight or 900 mile drive. This will be my stop next time I'm back in Bolingbrook. I wish other wing places trained with this staff as this is how you do it right and this place was off the chain! Well done!!!

But points of caution that they are fried and have an almost sweet and sour sauce on top which for me was a little heavy. Even if we don't consider its rarity, Da Local Boy is a winner in every category. The prices are very fair for the enormous portion sizes, the decor is fun and appropriate, the service is friendly, and food is phenomenal both in flavors and textures. The only possible criticisms are that the space is a bit small for how popular this spot gets, and the parking in the area can be a bit limited around popular meal times. The food here shines, making it worth a special trip -- both again for the rarity but also the quality. For me, the poke nachos are a must order item, just the perfect mix of large chunks of tuna with super crispy wontons, fresh avocado, and a good helping of sauce. Amongst friends, we've agreed that this is a must order item. The huli huli chicken is also unreal in flavor and texture. Besides being marinated and sauced well, the chicken is melt in your mouth tender while simultaneously having a delicious crisp skin. Think brick chicken, but with more flavor and a much better price. The rice and macaroni salad that accompany this are also well done -- and feel more like a core part of the meal rather than an afterthought. The grilled pork is pretty good as well, though I kind of wish it wasn't sliced as thin, as certain pieces felt a bit dry. The spam musubi with a light touch of furikake also provided a flavorful, fun dish to accompany the other delicious items I tried. Overall, delicious and consistently surprises me with the quality of the execution and bold flavor combinations. This is on my top places to visit in the area and has never disappointed.
