The attorney, Fred, was very professional and kind enough to give me a free consult. I feel he had a good and knowledgeable strategy to help win my case. I was planning on hiring him. It is only because of Fred that I have even given this office a star. Micheal, the paralegal, was nice and talked a big game. He was able to work with me financially so I chose to pay for him to do my paperwork. 3 weeks later, in a time sensitive case, he consistently failed to have things done when he said he would. The declaration he wrote for me was sloppy. It was amateur at best and I could have written it better myself. Not only was he not including important background and information in the declaration, he also wasn't going to include any evidence unless I did it myself. He said he spent 2 hours on something that probably was quickly typed up 15 minutes before he emailed it to me. I informed him that I did not feel comfortable with him and wanted my $ back. He then offered that if I wrote my own declaration (that im paying him to do) that he would give me the completed legal forms and I could go file it myself without any further payment. Really? I fired him and did not receive a refund for the work he didn't do. Also, there were a few times that I called trying to speak with Micheal and the female who answered the phone was rude to me.
