I used to have a dentist in Houston who "upsold" me several times and probably gave me fillings that I didn't actually need. In all these years, I've never been upsold by Dr. Frost or her staff. In one instance, about 5 years ago, where I severely cracked a tooth that could not be saved, Dr. Frost and her staff handled getting it fixed and I have not had a problem with it since. The staff at Frost Dental are amazing. Easily the best staff I've dealt with whether compared with other medical facilities or even in the corporate world. A couple of years ago, I moved a few hours away. To this day, I continue to make the drive back out to Pearland to use Frost Dental. I have no desire to use anyone else. They are that excellent!

The wait was about 10 minutes to get my xrays done then I was taken to room for gum exam, then a 5 min wait to see Dr Patel (who was super friendly and helpful) then the benefits coordinator came in and allowed me to pay and schedule my next appointment in the room. Finally a short wait to see the hygienist (thorough, quick, friendly) who performed my cleaning and fluoride treatment. Overall I felt great about the experience. The proximity to my house and the overall organization and professionalism will bring me back here in six months for my next checkup.

I tried to make an appointment for a basic cleaning that my insurance would cover, but they declined my appointment stating that I need the more expensive service. I asked for a manager, and I specifically ask the manager: are you telling me that I've had no cleanings in 5 years because I can't afford the deep cleaning, so a regular cleaning after having no cleanings in 5 years would do no good? This woman tells me yes a cleaning would do me no good.
