They tried setting it up, could not, and tried to charge me $30 to have a tech come out. I called the next day, and was told that, because someone in my apartment previously had used Xfinity, Astound could not connect unless a tech came out. The next availability was over a week away. Lastly, while the phone call support staff is nice, the online chat staff is incredibly rude, repeatedly blaming the customer (me) even though they confirmed I followed the instructions. I am canceling my service immediately and telling everyone I know not to ever use this service.

Received my statement reflecting pro-rated charges for the landline cancellation, but NOT the Internet. Contacted Customer Service Loyalty who couldn't explain why 1 service reflected cancellation and the other did not when they were both cancelled simultaneously. Further more, I would have to wait a full billing cycle before the adjustment would be communicated to me. In the meantime, I was still expected to pay the Internet bill. No other statements have had billing discrepancies that were not immediately resolved over the phone. This just reconfirms my decisions to cancel AT&T.

They run off of cell phone towers kind of like a hot spot but using a MoFi Router Antenna system. We had them for a year and a half and the service was great! We could stream whatever we wanted, the kids could play on their X-Box and when Covid hit I had two people working from home always on the computer. No problem... until recently they had to change our service, they took away our unlimited data and put us down to 300GB told us they were sending us a new SIM card plus they were going to charge us an additional $20/month. What the heck!?? But what other options did we have besides At&t (we heard it's horrible downloads speeds are at 5mb/s) and Satellite? NONE!. We are unable to get any type of hight speed cable/fiberoptic at our locations. So we installed the new SIM card and couldn't get a connection and tried several times! I called and left messages, they said they would call back and never did. I emailed and they sent out a big letter stating if you are still having problems with connectivity then you need to get another plan depending on what cell service you have. We have Verizon so to get that one it was going to cost us even more $. So we went from paying $89/month now up to $129/month an additional $40/month. Another SIM card was shipped out. I tried installing it. No connection, I tried calling the company multiple times, put on hold for over 40 min emailed and they told me that my card wouldn't be activated until that night which was on November 12th, 2021 so we waited and we tried again on the 13th and again on the 14th and no connectivity. So I emailed the company demanding a refund on service and equipment. They only refunded the service because of course the refund policy on the equipments only goes up to 14 days after purchase. Even thought this was their screw up changing service on us and not even calling to try and help us out. And I'm so tired of companies saying "Unlimited High Speed Internet, oh until you reach so many GB then we are going to reprioritized you and slow you WAY DOWN. That's a flat out lie, you can't say unlimited high speed if you are going to slow us down. Such crap!! I would not recommend this company to anyone at this time. I don't know if they changed ownership. Before this big switch in service I could call any time and get a hold of someone. It's unfortunate that companies don't treat their customers with respect. We are the one's making you money.
