Other companies quoted me upwards of three times what Mr. Lane charged, and would only find four, corner property pins. Our property is on the end of a cul de sac, and is an odd shape; therefore, we actually have seven property pins. We only requested Mr. Lane find the five pins that define the turning points of our property, but he actually found (and placed) all seven at no additional charge. Fantastic service, very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Mr. Lane to anyone looking to have a property survey. The neighbors seemed to have good ideas where the real boundaries were, but I wanted to be sure before I started making improvements to the property. Quote received very quickly and we were able to get on the schedule fairly quickly. Price point felt fair for the work. All hard pins found but one that had likely been damaged or removed from old farming on the land. The survey map and pins helped to find the missing corner. Flags posted to identify the lines and highlight the new found corner. Turns out one neighbor had given us more ground than what was actually ours. Feel very confident now where the barn and other improvements can go.

I contacted them about a rental property and the agent in charge of the property…read moredidn't have room to leave a voicemail in his box, rushed us off the phone when we finally got a hold of him and finally he never sent the rental application. I talked to others in the agency and was told this agent was slammed with phone calls. I was also told most properties don't go through real estate agents on the eastern shore (10 year renter here and I only called them because they had two properties listed...). I know the market is tough here but if I was running this office, I'd lose the agent who can't be bothered to a) pick up his phone and b) clean out his voicemail. Usually I do Craigslist and considering that the agent on the two rentals couldn't be bothered, I know why I usually go that direction. Maybe they are good for buying a property but I would hope they treat all customers the same, renter or buyer, regardless of where you are from i.e. not from the Eastern Shore. We did get a good response from one agent who found us a place a couple weeks later when it was available but overall, I'd rather be treated like a potential customer, not someone who can be ignored.
