I was hoping to grab some crab legs for my grandmother's birthday celebration, but from the moment I walked through the door, I could tell it wasn't going to go how I hoped. There were barely any options in the display case. Maybe one or two fish, a random cluster, but nothing that made you feel like the store was stocked for folks to shop. And nothing in there was fresh. Everything was frozen. So, I inquired asking if there was more. The person behind the case told me that there was more in the back. I asked him about his crab legs, and was in complete shock when he stated the price. They were charging per cluster, not per pound. A small snow crab cluster? $11. A medium one? $27. That's insanity! At Whole Foods, I can get a whole pound of snow crab with 2-3 clusters for $15. They're charging customers more for less. That's easily over 80% more for maybe half the crab legs. And it sucks to even write this, because I really do try to support businesses in the West End. I want that place gouging is ridiculous. But somebody's gotta say something. I hope they rethink how they're price points and what kind of experience they want folks to have when they walk through the door. But as of today, I won't be back.

This was actually the second seafood market I went to that evening because I had to throw away food from the first place. The usual spots I frequent were packed and had ridiculously high prices, so I decided to try LT New Orleans Seafood Market by ordering on DoorDash. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish, with one of those pounds including broccoli, sausage, corn, and potatoes. When I arrived, I noticed the restaurant was closer to West End Mall. The area didn't bother me, but the musty, old smell inside did. When they handed me my tray of crawfish, I was immediately skeptical. It did not look like 3 lbs, and as someone who has been eating crawfish since birth, I know what 3 lbs should look like. Already hungry and frustrated, I asked for it to be weighed. At first, I was speaking to the male owner, but then a female owner jumped in, immediately getting defensive. She started insisting they don't cheat people. That wasn't the point--I just wanted to confirm the weight. She told the man to remove the shrimp and vegetables, and I agreed. As he did, she kept saying crawfish shrinks when cooked, which made it clear they weigh before cooking. After weighing, the crawfish and juices totaled 2.64 lbs--not 3 lbs. They offered a refund, but I declined and took the food. The crawfish were decent, and I liked the broccoli, but at that point, I was over it. I ate just to avoid wasting money. I won't be back.

The 4 stars started with the order process at the drive up menu. I was interested in getting trout and asked the person taking the order if it was Georgia trout, a fairly simple question. The fact that the order taker did not know was not the issue, but it was the disdain in their voice, which hinted at no type of customer service. I continue to order the family pack as I was meeting friends for dinner and wanted to bring enough for everyone. The trout dinner as well as the other dinners came with two sides and I selected coleslaw and red beans and rice. Food portions were the next reason for the less stellar review. I'm not sure what family would be fed by the meager portions included in the family pack. Pictures do not lie! The family size sides were also underwhelming in size and flavor. Grease residue was the last factor in the one star review. It did not appear as though the grease had been drained from the fish adequately. Some grease is expected with fried food, but this was more than average. Sadly, this location used to have decent food. This is my second time in the last year, giving a means a chance to make amends. I have visited after church in the daytime, and most recently last week with both times resulting in disappointment. Was only aware of one other location on the south side, and after beginning this review, I noticed that there are other locations within the metro. (I wish I still had the old pictures). It was edible, but the first time was WAY better. It was heavily HEAVILY seasoned to the point of being. My hands were stained red. The shrimp had a nice crunch. The potatoes didn't look great, but the flavor was good. The catfish was bland. One thing we really did not enjoy was the corn. The taste/texture was that of corn that was just sitting in the pot, boiling for hours until someone ordered it. Soggy. I was really excited about the side of fried crab legs and they weren't even in the bag. The attached receipt literally said to double check and still, missing. Additionally, my delivery person said that when she arrived at the restaurant, they said they "lost" the order and she had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made. But the restaurant is ~5 mins from my apartment and the food arrived cold soooo?? Overall the food was just ok, but not something I'd rush come back for.

Even though I don't live far from this restaurant, I've always had my food delivered through Uber Eats. I wasn't expecting much the first time I ordered from them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality has been consistent every time. The portions were large and seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm getting hungry just writing about it. I usually can't eat the whole meal at once because it's so much food. I have no complaints at all with any of my orders, though I did have issues with the Uber Eats delivery person the last time. But that's not Krab Kingz fault. I'm rating them a five. Oh, Krab Kingz is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. But Wednesday - Sunday, it opens at 11:30 am and stays open until either 9 or 10 pm.

So I would have given 5 stars the first time & then be coming here to lower/change that review if I had done it. Let's start with the customer experience with parking.....the parking attendant yelled at us a number of times "I don't know why yall getting out the car cause I'm not opening doors until 2:15 anyway"....confusion cause our reservation was 2:00pm. He ended up being right though as not only was he the parking attendant but then changed to the person who opened the doors. So pack your patience when it comes to parking and not being let in at your reservation time (even in the rain). Once we were checked in and seated our mimosas did come right out.....and they kept them flowing for the stated hour.....however after 10 or so, I was like it's just mostly orange/mango juice. If we hadn't pregamed before I wouldn't have felt any buzz. The food was all really GOOD although the same parking attendant guy had put on an apron so he seemed to be an owner of some sorts.....let us know from jump that its an event experience and not a restaurant so although the flavor and presentation of the food is good don't expect it to come out piping hot as they are serving it buffet style groups.....if you don't get something or want more you can ask. If you are okay with paying $85 (gratuity included) when tickets purchased to catch a vibe with DJ Che Mack.....then give these folks a try and let me know if your experience is better or about the same as mine. Main food for Sunday Brunch (Fried Chicken, salmon, turkey sausage, grits, greens, deviled eggs, potatoes) and bacon upon request (not pictured) food is served based on party size but you can request more. Prior to this we were given kale salad, a fruit tray, crab salad, crab cakes (crab balls) and sweet potato corn muffin bites, whole shrimp with shell. The kale salad was the show stopper 10/10. As stated all food was served lukewarm or cold.....which for some items this is fine. The amount of food given for price was worth it, just wish the temp was better on hot items.

No ceiling fans, why not? The host (blond headed guy) was super nice and got us seated quicky. Our server Calli was also the bartender. He was very nice and polite, but he was clearly stretched doing double duty as server and bartender. His drinks were on point, but It took forever to get apitizers, and entrees, and it was difficult for him to really check on our table as often as we would have liked. He tried his best. Now the food: The smothered pork chops, fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, collards, mac and cheese was great. Those chicken wings were fried to perfection 10/10. The mac and cheese wasn't really as creamy as I like but it was still really good. I wanted to take my out of town guest somewhere they could only experience in Atlanta. And, I wanted them to go back to Chicago and say what a great dining experience they had. In terms of the food, and drinks, location, they were well pleased and said I picked a winner. Now when the sun went down the music got crunk and the younger crowd started to pour in. It was a bit loud for the 45 up foks, but at least it was good R&B so we adapted.

So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck…read moreso it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible. Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence. I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly. I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win.
