I ordered from here about a year ago and had a pretty nice experience, so I decided to order again through a delivery app. But this time was totally different. (I wish I still had the old pictures). It was edible, but the first time was WAY better. It was heavily HEAVILY seasoned to the point of being. My hands were stained red. The shrimp had a nice crunch. The potatoes didn't look great, but the flavor was good. The catfish was bland. One thing we really did not enjoy was the corn. The taste/texture was that of corn that was just sitting in the pot, boiling for hours until someone ordered it. Soggy. I was really excited about the side of fried crab legs and they weren't even in the bag. The attached receipt literally said to double check and still, missing. Additionally, my delivery person said that when she arrived at the restaurant, they said they "lost" the order and she had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made. But the restaurant is ~5 mins from my apartment and the food arrived cold soooo?? Overall the food was just ok, but not something I'd rush come back for. read more

I've ordered from Krab Kingz three or four times. I tend to order the same thing: The fish and shrimp platter. It consists of two catfish filets (or three strips of whiting), 10 pieces of shrimp, fries, and a portion of corn on the cob. Before taxes, it costs $26.11. Even though I don't live far from this restaurant, I've always had my food delivered through Uber Eats. I wasn't expecting much the first time I ordered from them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality has been consistent every time. The portions were large and seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm getting hungry just writing about it. I usually can't eat the whole meal at once because it's so much food. I have no complaints at all with any of my orders, though I did have issues with the Uber Eats delivery person the last time. But that's not Krab Kingz fault. I'm rating them a five. Oh, Krab Kingz is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. But Wednesday - Sunday, it opens at 11:30 am and stays open until either 9 or 10 pm. read more

I have had food from here twice. I waited to do a review because I wanted to be fair. Here is my observation. - Food comes well packaged in sturdy container not styrofoam. There was no leakage. - Package was sealed. Good job taking protective measures. -Ordered crab legs. It comes with potatoes, Sausage, eggs and corn. - Portion size was great. 2 clusters although they were a little in the small side. - Crab legs were over cooked. You should be able to snap them in 3 places to get the meat out -Shells are soft and mushy. Couldn't pull meat out in whole pieces. -Potatoes are over cooked. They give you a lot but they are over cooked. -Boiled eggs are kind of hard. The white of the egg is tough -Corn is over cooked. Corn should be crisp not mushy. -The entire platter has a ton of butter saucee. It congealed very quickly and was thick. I felt like I was eating margarine not butter. Please do not use margarine on seafood. There is a difference. - If you don't like butter you better let them know. - The sausage was pretty good. This is just my take on it. I just realized there was a new crab spot in this shopping plaza. I asked someone about it, and they said it was really good. So today I was in the Neighborhood and decided to give it a try and I'm glad that I did! So good! They have different flavors of garlic butter, which was quite interesting. I tried just the regular garlic butter, which I usually stick to. I was advised that the Honey Garlic Butter is a fav though. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't the greatest I've had. Although I ordered three clusters of crab, I don't really feel as if they had that much meat (not necessarily the fault of the business). The combo I ordered came with two crab clusters, there wasn't a set number of shrimp for the combo, but, I believe I had between seven or nine. They give you plenty of potatoes that come cut up, which made it easier to eat. You get a full smoked sausage (not an andouille) an egg, and corn. I got the Cajun butter flavor. Which was more so just butter then Cajun seasoning sprinkled on the top. None of the food was cooked all together, (just a personal preference) so the flavoring isn't as strong as it would be when it comes out of a boil bag. The crab was slightly over cooked, so when cracking the shells, it wasn't easy to just slide the meat out. Despite not having anything to crack the claws with, it was soft enough to break with my hands. The corn wasn't cooked all the way so it was still a little crunchy, but edible. The customer service was good. Everyone was friendly. I spent a total of $40.92. So overall I would say you get an equal portion to what you're charged. read more

I have been holding off on ordering from this place because I had seen some off reviews, let me personally apologize to me and my stomach because when I tell you this is top 5 one of my favorite meals I've had while living in Atlanta. It's messy don't get me wrong, but me and my boyfriend could not shut up about how good the food was. We went to a certain crab place in Howell mill and it was same price for less food that tasted like just some boiled crab. I want to start this review by saying I originally came to Yelp to leave a poor review of a different restaurant, but decided that these are not the times we can bring businesses down, so I chose instead to review a restaurant that I have had consistently great experiences.... and here I am! I am strictly talking about delivery, I have not been to the location. However I have ordered from Krab Kingz *3* times and must say it is a FANTASTIC delivery spot. It's not always easy to properly pack seafood for delivery, but they've nailed it every time. And the sauce is delicious, I get the Honey Butter, Cajun and Spicy Butter. It is plentiful, no doubt. And the portions are just right. I have not experienced an issue with any of it being too small. The shrimp are small *er* but there's no reason to remove a star for that. It's all great. I believe that I should be treated with respect and talked to as the adult that I am and not a child... especially when I spend $70 at an establishment. There is a sign on the window that states that only 2 customers are allowed in the waiting area at a time due to COVID-19... I understood that. After waiting an hour for my food, I went to check on the status of my order and rude ass rent a guard wouldn't let me in and no on was in the store. Unacceptable and I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. All I can think of when I think of Krab Kingz is potatoes. Potatoes is the name of their game. I got sooo many small potatoes with my boil that I couldn't eat them all. I am selective about what I want in my boil and disliked that I had one egg and a dozen potatoes. The flavor was decent but nothing to write home about. I do like the location and the fact that you can get a boil on the Westside for people who live in that community. I think that's the best thing about this place. The crab legs were good and well seasoned and not too drenched in sauce, which I liked but it was just the lack of flavor overall for me, especially those sausage, I could do totally without. I had originally found out about them thru Uber eats. I absolutely love seafood and they were spot on. I had tried Krab Queenz before I tried this place and I was so disappointed. I ordered a seafood boil from here and MY GOD TODAY , they were worth every dime I spent! Great portion size and so damn good! I've ate at this place about 4-5 times in the last two months. The only thing I would like for this restaurant to do is have a pick up option on Uber Eats like they do on Grub hub. Other than that. It's a good place to eat at. They require mask coming into the restaurant, they only let a certain amount of people in and they do practice social distancing.
