I arrived today Wednesday October 22 2025,at 238 pm... ordered the 4 piece chicken wings dinner, with 2 sides,which were macoroni and cheese..with sweet potatoes...my wait wasn't long...there was only 1 hispanic couple ,eating at this time...the restaurant decor was clean...the sitting area is small about 4 tables only.....they don't seem to have a restroom for their customers, so be aware, however they had hand sanitizer provided at the cashier counter.......meanwhile I tried to purchase a dessert, with my order..unfortunately this can only be done via cash app......they wouldn't also take cash for the cake. So , i couldn't purchase the lime cake, unless I paid for it, with cash app..which I don't have, due to prior attempts to steal $ 2100.00 dollars from my checking account. This little gem is located less than 10 minutes from my home. The customer service is great. They answer all questions regarding the food. The flounder is seasoned well and fried to perfection. The mashed potatoes are also fresh mashed potatoes. No store bought mash. The cabbage was different. Not sure what it's seasoned with but it tastes good. Next I want to try the shrimp. On 3/18/2025, I went to the 6681 Jonesboro Rd, Morrow, GA location around 7:16pm. It was my first time, and I saw a lot of great reviews about the food. I ordered the fried 6 piece jumbo shrimp dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and cabbage. Cashier was nice. Prices were decent. Food looked good when received but received my food less than 5min of ordering. I went to my car to eat, my potatoes were cold and looked old. My cabbage was orange and not good. My shrimp smelled spoiled and tasted terrible. I went back to the door around 7:30pm and it was locked with a "sold out" sign on it. I asked the cashier to let me in. I explained to her my concerns and showed her. She offered and gave me a refund. The cook came from the back asking what is wrong and the cashier told her, and all she said was "oh, okay" and walked back in the kitchen. I will never go back again. read more

The place is definitely tiny but don't let the size fool you. They are serving up some big plates of delicious food! I had the smothered chicken and rice while my sister and brother had whitting and snapper. Everything was great but what I loved the most was the mac and cheese. It reminded me of my grandmother's. First off, it's packed, only 1 register, 1 person taking orders and packing the food to hand to customers. My husband and I travelled to ATL on 8/2/2024 with anticipation of eating at this restaurant. We placed our order at 6:20pm and was told by cashier it would be about 25 mins. We waited about 45 mins...watching others come in and leave with their order. So we decided to speak with the cashier and were told orders are fulfilled when the cook gets to them so we waited a few more mins. She then called us to the counter and asked for our receipt. We saw her print another one and handed ours back. She then took it to the kitchen area. When she returned she called us back up and said she would put our order in front of others that were waiting. We reiterated that we had been waiting 45 mins while others that came after us had received their food. Basically she had forgotten to turn in our order. She had a blank look on her face and said it would be another 15-20 min wait and said we could wait or receive a refund in 2-3 days. We told her we would like a refund.
