We came for happy hour, ordering the focaccia , pinwheel lasagna and then mushroom truffle potato pizza from regular menu. AND WOW, everything was so fresh and flavorful. Loved the pesto on the focaccia , sauce for lasagna was perfectly seasoned and you can tell tomato was fresh. And the truffle pizza hard whole roasted garlic pizzas on it to enhance the flavor . To top it off, we had an amazing, attentive, and fun serve, Claire. She was a hoot and I would literally come back just for her even. Overall , great place to check out in downtown Edmonds. The excellent service ( truly excellent) was not enough here. These are big prices... learn to make focaccia with a starter . End up with a professional crumb. Especially if you're going to charge $10 for 5/6 thin slices. Elk loin .....the meat was under seasoned. A piece of meat like that needs salt. Medium rare is not a raw( blue) center . I can imagine that it's difficult to cook and serve a lean piece of meat like elk loin at the right temperature but at $49 dollars.... That's your job. Italian food is tough for someone who doesn't do carbs but I had the Pork Osso buco and it was absolutely delightful. Rich and flavorful. However the fruit the out on top was a bit too sweet for me. But overall the food looks fresh and hearty and an interesting menu. Our server was knowledgeable and when she didn't know something we'd ask about she would find out. Lovely. We came here for brunch on a nice saturday morning. There weren't too many people as we were promptly seated within a couple minutes of waiting. I ordered the chicken and grits and my husband ordered the fried chicken burger. Both were equally delicious!! I would say the only downside is that the batter was so thick and heavy it took us a while to get to the chicken. It is on the heavier side, so I felt sort of greasy and icky after our meal. Stopped in with friends on Sat May 13, the first day of them doing brunch for the season. Excellent service and great food. Our party ordered 2 omelets; a vegie one and the Italian sausage one. Both were light, fluffy and delicious. They were served with a lovely slice of hash brown "cake". Not sure what to call it, it was like a hash potato, egg and cheese quiche. Super. We went here for a family valentines dinner. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Service was hit and miss but no points lost as they were very busy. The best dishes was their scallops risotto. Risotto was too salty but there is great pleasure in enjoying a simple ingredient made well like the way they cooked their scallops. Their calamari while small was excellent. They had also deep fried artichoke hearts with it which was a first for me and now all other calamari orders shall be compared to fire and the feasts!. I had a Bolognase type papperdelle which was also good. The large noodles were cooked perfectly but it didn't have the wow factor that their delicious scallops had. The meatballs in it tasted kinda overworked. Their buratta was a joy. Same with the polenta fries. Nothing was a miss in my book for this place. Food - Loved the pizza. The best thing is that it can be customized to meet your needs. We had Margherita and Spicy Salscissa Pizza. Margherita was not quite as good as Salscissa. The level of service was outstanding. SHOUT OUT TO BRADY!!. He was very thorough in outlining the alternatives and customizing the experience for us. We were a party of six, so we were somewhat noisy, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and tolerant. After trying this once while traveling, we've been on the hunt for a honey glazed pizza that's done right and finally found it! The crust was thin and so good- light but crispy , the pizza was fully decorated in pepperoni and the honey was perfectly glazed - not drenched, not soggy, and extremely flavorful. It took a lot of tries to find another that stacked up to our standards. Amazing!!! - a good Caesar salad is hard to find, this one nailed it. Took my girlfriend on a random date night here and we had no regrets. The restaurant was nice and perfect for a romantic date night. The food was amazing. You can tell that the flavors leveraged fresh seasonal produce and elevated them to the max. Our waitress Claire was also just an absolute gem. Claire is what I'd call the perfect waitress... passionate about her work, she loved food, made fun and lighthearted conversations which made the meal all the better. 10/10 would recommend! My daughter lives in Edmonds and it was her birthday and she chose this place to go for dinner. We had 7 adults and a toddler, and when we called for reservations 3 days in advance, the only time they had available was 4 pm when they opened, so we took it. We arrived on time and were taken to our seat a few minutes later. The staff were all very nice and friendly and brought us menus and took our drink and appetizer orders. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great experience. The food all tasted delicious, the presentation was perfect, and the service was top-notch. The menu selection was a little different than I was expecting and seems more like an Italian Bistro experience than a traditional Italian restaurant. I had the Scallops Risotto, which was excellent. However, it only had 3 medium-sized scallops. I know scallops are expensive, but if I'm going to pay $29 for a scallop dish, it seemed a little skimpy. The flavor of the risotto with the mushrooms was perfect, though, and I was actually very full when we left. My wife had the Clams Bucatini, which was very good, and another dish at the table was Meatball Bucatini, which was equally delicious. All in all, it was a great experience. read more

This restaurant was recommended to me when I was in Edmonds for a work trip. Italian restaurant on Main Street in the cute town of Edmonds. I ordered a mocktail (blackberry something or other) which was delicious and refreshing. Appetizers included meatballs and their burrata with prosciutto; I ate the scallops for my main entree. Their Aperol Sour was so refreshing! Our server told us it was a newer cocktail of theirs and I was glad I ordered it. For appetizers we ordered the clams and Roman meatballs! Both were delicious. For my entree I got the Cacio E Pepe which is my go to and everything was cooked to perfection! I'd also like to give a shout-out to our server Connor! This was our second time going to Fire and the Feast. The first time we went to brunch, I had the eggs in purgatory and everyone else ordered a Dutch baby. Brunch was delicious so I was eager to come back here for dinner. We came back last night to celebrate my partners job and we were impressed with how kind the staff were, we received everything very quickly. We ordered the calamari and focaccia bread for appetizers which we devoured. I also ordered the mushroom carbonara which was a generous amount of pasta and I loved that it had a slight kick to it. My partner ordered the braised short ribs which were so tender and every bite melted into your mouth. I sat at the bar. The bartender Chloe and the bar-back Sophie were so sweet and welcoming. They helped me choose a meal that was fantastic! I had the puttanesca and it was the best I have ever had. Tons of flavor and perfectly cooked. I had so much fun talking with these beautiful ladies. Fire and the Feast is celebrating its five year anniversary and we are hoping it's around for many years to come. This was me and my boyfriend's first time sitting down to eat at a restaurant in Edmonds. The manager and waiter both made an incredible impression. They were personable and kind, but didn't talk down to us like an HR desk manager. The carbonara was creamy but it had a kick to it and the butternut squash ravioli was hearty and paired well with crispy kale and a warm sauce. The menu had so many options to choose from that I will be excited to taste soon. Additionally, my allergy was accommodated without issue or worry. The view of the sunset over the water made for a pleasant pre dinner walk. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for a calming lunch or for a romantic night out. When we were on our way back to the car after an excellent meal, the restaurant manager called out to me by name to say thank you for coming and to please return soon. The food and service are very nice at F&F - we had a lovely meal on the patio during the past week's heat wave. The breeze drifting off the ocean and up the hill really makes a difference; nature's a/c is the best. Weirdly even though I'm fairly certain that they have a/c in the main dining room, it felt less stuffy outdoors. Definitely sit on the patio if given a choice - these tables can't be reserved, but if you arrive earlier in the evening they can be snagged relatively easily. We loved our appetizers, pastas, and the eggplant involtini entree. The one bobble for me is the value for the pastas in particular. We ordered one "adult" spaghetti and one kid's spaghetti - they were approximately the same portion size, similar ingredients... and there was a staggering $20 price difference ($33 vs. $13). We should have just ordered 2 kids' portions and called it good. read more

Fire & the Feast is a darling Edmonds restaurant with fantastic Italian cuisine. Each dish was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. We started with the Rosa e Arancia cocktail that contains pink peppercorn infused Tequila, Select Aperitivo, blood orange, and lime. It was very well balanced and tasty. For appetizers, we had the Roman meatballs, which alone could have been the star of the meal. The meatballs had an incredible texture, and their house marinara was delicious. However, the creamy polenta beneath them took this dish to the next level. We also ordered the cheese and charcuterie, which had a nice variety of meats and cheeses. I thought the portion size was generous and great for sharing. I had the white bolognese with veal, pork, butternut squash rigatoni, brown butter, grana padano, and fried sage for my entree. I don't think I have ever had a white bolognese dish, but it was done very well. My fiancé had the heritage pork osso buco. The meat was very tender and juicy. Plus, we got to revisit their excellent polenta with this dish and were very happy. read more
