Went here with the wife for her birthday dinner. Did not disappoint! Pretty busy on a Thursday evening. Excellent service. Portions are...huge. There had to have been a pound of pasta, which was ok because it was delicious the next day too. Bolognese was rich, burrata was creamy, focaccia with a nice crust and chew, and the pork fell off the bone. Definitely worth the splurge in our opinion. 10/10 will return

Loved the offerings they had for oyster fest. We decided to also order the focaccia off the menu. Only downside is that they Unfortunately did not pack our pesto sauce for us when we left and the rocks felled oysters were undercooked. We had asked for it to be done well. Everything else was wondering from the service to the food.

This place is cute! For a group, girl date or date night! Had brunch today and loved that their menu was mostly savory for lunch. They have the Dutch baby pancakes! I came here with a girl friend of mine and got the country Dutch baby! I LOVED it! A good mix of savory with gravy, sausage and eggs, the goat horn pickle peppers added a nice touch. My girl friend got the Early Riser breakfast (all around breakfast of protein, carbs and fruit!) Lane was our server and was really helpful and accommodating. He even doubled check my order and even told my girl friend if she needed more time or help deciding what to get. He was patient! I would definitely come back!

Cute little restaurant in downtown Edmonds. Small, but they make good use of all the space. The staff were all kind and helpful. Came with a friend for restaurant week. I had the Brussel sprouts and bolognese. Sprouts were good, but a little on the sweet side with raisins. Could have used a spice element to offset the sweetness, but still pretty good. The bolognese was not very good IMO. The noodles were a little on the chewy side, and the sauce was just really underwhelming. Also didn't love the taste of the meat. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse. It was so cute, but extremely bitter. Again, very cute little restaurant. I'm sure they have a ton of great options here, and is a great option for a date night; however, based on the things I tried, I probably wouldn't come again.

The whole fam outside the front door. Three of five of us had leftovers.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. It's nice restaurant with god food. The foods and their descriptions definitely demonstrate that care goes into preparing them. There were two small drawbacks for me, only. My family doesn't have eating restrictions. My daughter is picky but she likes cheese pizza, so the kid's menu was perfect for her. My husband got pasta with a meaty tomato sauce, my mother in law got manicotti, and my father in law got the same as my husband (they each had meatballs, on their pasta, as well). They all raved about their food. All 4 loved their meals. I am vegan and chose this restaurant for its vegan menu. I'm glad I mentioned it to the server because the vegan food is not featured on the regular menu. I settled on the vegan truffle mushroom pizza. When the food came, I was served the truffle mushroom risotto. I'm not a fan of risotto, so I spoke up. They fixed the mistake immediately, allowed me to keep the risotto (from which I ate the mushrooms), sent a manager out to apologize, and brought my pizza within about 10 minutes. I enjoyed the pizza much more than I would have enjoyed risotto. However, my observation is that the mushrooms were far too salty. This is a common feature of vegan food, I think. The pizza was good but would have been better with a little less salt. The server presented us with a small birthday cannoli for my husband and a bowl of sorbet to celebrate our anniversary. That was very sweet. It's not cheap but I felt they clearly made an effort to rectify the mistake with my order and to make our evening a special one. I'd celebrate an event here again. It's definitely a "special occasion" kind of place.

The calamari at Fire & The Feast was perfectly crispy and tender, not greasy at all. The butter sage dish was unreal--rich, aromatic, and so comforting without being heavy. Every bite tasted intentional and well-balanced. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and food that genuinely stands out. I'd order both again in a heartbeat.

I am insanely jealous of the Edmonds food scene, this place has a lovely vibe to it and the service is friendly and knows what they're doing (hi Emma!) I had the Old Fashioned Sticky Bun 5/5 it was superb, great texture and flavor will absolutely get again. We also had their Eggs in Purgatory 4/5 great balance in flavor, one of the poached eggs was clearly over but otherwise a great plate of food. Fried Chicken Cesar Sandwich 5/5 an excellent sandwich I will say we went for brunch and it felt like their options were a little limited. A lot of it was pork heavy which I cannot have so just something to bear in mind. I would still go back and their dinner menu looked very very interesting!

Yes, I am still n Edmonds. And I just can't seem to get enough of experience at Fire and Feast! Little did I know this fabulous Edmonds eatery's owner also gifted Edmonds Salt and Iron (seafood and steaks), Sankai (Japanese-extraordinaire, Bar Dojo (Asian), and The Market (lobster Rolls. Each of these unique restaurants offer top not h food and service. Shubert Ho is the owner and just has the gift! Tonight we were served at the bar by a talented young staff of servers, bar tenders and bar backs. Really darling young men who took great care of us. Shout out to Caden, Elisha, Brady and Zane. So Service a 10! Now into our shared course! We were starving after a boat ride and visit to a Casino in Anacortes. Since they didn't take too much of our fortune, we decided on Fire Feast tonight and boy what a feast it was. After a small taste of their wine selection by the glass we decided on the upgraded Montepultiano D' Abruzzo and an Italian White. While thoughtfiully sipping those, a lovely bruschetta with the most ripened cherry Tom's I have ever had arrived for our table.. After diving into that great app we were served the best sourdough mushroom and sausage pizza hot out of the oven. Go no further in Edmonds for fantastic pizza. All in all a great experience. Thank you Mr. Shubert Ho for putting your faith and touch in Edmonds! Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere. Excellent customer service. Delicious food. We decided to try the fare by attending happy hour. Prices are reasonable and the food was amazing. We ordered a combo ( sausage and pepperoni) pizza, Caesar salad, Cacio e pepe, and the meatballs. Everything was amazing. Pizza did have a lot of topping and was a little salty, but crust was perfect. The meatballs with the polenta were fabulous. Their meatballs are a little dense, but still prepared perfectly with the creamy and flavorful polenta. Caesar salad was great and had a lot of freshly shaved Parmesan with leafy green romaine. The star of the show for me was the Cacio e Pepe. The green peas had a nice crunch, and the pancetta was the perfect amount of salt to the creaminess of the sauce. The noodles were cooked perfectly and everything meshed together. can't wait to go back to try items on the regular menu.

Loved this place!! Such a cute and cozy restaurant in downtown Edmonds. You have to check it out. Came here for a friend's birthday and we absolutely loved the ambiance and the food and our server was super friendly. We were a groups of 12 and got shareables for the table and an entree each. We were very happy with the food. Definitely coming back here again even though it's a a bit of a drive from my place, but totally worth it.

Fire and the Feast, Fire and the Feast. One of my new favorite restaurants in Edmonds. After a wonderful spa day with the girls this was a perfect after dinner close to where the spa was located. We opted for a table outside cause it was a beautiful day. A ordered a vodka martini/cosmo that the waitress recommended. A little sweet but good. With that we ordered bruschetta. Delicious. For my mains I orders the squash and pork belly. Amazing. My friend orders the Cesar salad and Bolognese. Everything was amazing. The bolognese was a huge portion that was perfect for left overs. If I'm ever in Edmonds this a place I'm coming to immediately.

Nice Italian restaurant with attractive menu. My friend and I tried this place for the first time as we felt like trying something new. Not sure if this place is new but the restaurant was clean inside and out. So we were seated by the window at the table. There were still some seats available around us at 5pm on Sunday. We waited pretty long to order as apparently the server didn't know who was supposed to serve us. Some seating mixed up. The waitress we waived and got our attention from and the buzzer were really apologetic we were relieved that we weren't forgotten or discriminated. They didn't charge the appetizer dish we ordered. All the food was really good except for the bourbon chocolate mousse that was overwhelming amount of bourbon in it. I recommend the carbonara pasta dish that the pasta was thick as udon noodle with great texture, and the beets and burrata salad that was a perfect combination of dressing, sweet beets, nuts and cheese. The food of this restaurant is delicious!! We will come back and try more from them.

My mom and shared a few plates: the Vinbero club, the spring pea risotto, and the kale Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. The club is packed with thinly sliced chicken breast, crunchy bacon, and fresh tomatoes, greens, and avocado. The contrast between the bite from the aioli on the inside of the sandwich and the sweet tartness of the balsamic drizzle on the outside was fun and unexpected. The kale caesar was very fresh with a great dressing. But for me the star was hands down the pea risotto. Perfectly creamy, vibrant green, and packed with fresh spring flavor. It appears they change up their risotto offering every so often, and it's gone now, but I will dream of that one until it appears again. Our server (maybe the owner?) thoughtfully split our sandwich onto two plates (hence why the photo only shows one half) and added the side of popcorn to both plates. A nice touch. The inside is a little small and dark though well-appointed. Their mini patio outside is crowded and uncomfortable. But they're doing their best with what the space they have. And truly the food is a standout in the area.

This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.

The ambiance its making me super happy by the time we step in. very nice restaurant. The food its delicious. But im very sad with the service. The server asking if we want the drink to be on the rocks or not? And we said yes. But the drink dont come "on the rocks". So We ask the server with the beidge color shirt, and he said our drinks its on the rocks. While on the rocks means a drink is served over ice cubes. When our drink its served on beer glass with ice that already crush or shake together with the drink. If the drink dont come in options "on the rocks" we're totally okay. Maybe saying "my apologies, the drink don't come in options on the rocks, should i make a change" or anything. But the server with the beige shirt teaching us that our drinks is served "on the rocks". It looks like he's teaching us back about our order. while our server its the one giving us the options for that. I do feel embarrassed about this. But it's ok. This place its just not going to be to our recommendation because of the server. Also the server should not took the menu and read whats inside the dish in front of us. When i firm about what i order. I think we are very in awkward situation. The server should more knowledge about the menu more than us.

Downtown Edmonds has so many coffee shops and my goal for this year is to try as many coffee shops…read moreas I can. I stumbled open Red Twig, beautiful location in downtown Edmonds. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with cozy vibes. They have a lot of different coffee and pastries. We got a variety of pastries to try. First was the cinnamon roll, we had it warmed up at home and it still tasted super fresh and delicious. The M&M's cookie was huge, not too sweet, perfectly soft and crunchy. The other pastries we had was raspberry croissant, and a muffin, all tasted pretty good. I think all their pastries are fresh, delicious, and not that sweet compared to other bakeries. I highly recommend getting their cinnamon roll. This cafe is perfect for the all seasons especially summer if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view of downtown Edmonds. They have plenty of seatings inside and outdoor. Parking is limited since it's downtown Edmonds so it's a bit challenging but it's worth it because you get to enjoy fresh pastries and you can also have a nice walk down to the beautiful town and beach after.
