They came, they cleaned, they conquered. No, but seriously. So I am going to say I haven't done a deep clean of my house in... 5 years, give or take. And in the last three months I've basically let it fall to ruin. I'll leave it to your imagination as to what that's like. With a husband, two kids, several businesses to run, I just didn't have the time or energy to do it myself, and scheduling has always been a pain. I know they are a startup and decided to go with them for a few reasons: 1. Their pricing structure is clearly stated on their website and is more than fair. This is a big plus so I know exactly what I'm getting for what I'm paying. 2. Super responsive. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have people schedule you and then either not show up, or not show up on time. They're super punctual and keep in close contact through text, as well as very responsive. So I'll save the longwinded description and leave it at the fact that they managed to clean my absolutely filthy home to where it was livable and enjoyable and for a price cheaper than what my mother (yes, my mother who shrank away at the horror that was my house) imagined it would be (and she has had cleaning people all her life.) Because of that, I've contracted them to do a once a month clean for an apartment building I own. I like them, I'm satisfied with their work, and I'll be seeing them often! read more

Last Friday, 9/6/19, my residence on Fire Island was in dire need of a good cleaning. I did not have the time, tools, or skill to clean the mess that was left behind by my younger brother's friends. There were liquor stains all over the counter top, trash was scattered throughout the living room, and the windows were stained with egg yolk. I was fuming, but mainly because I was leaving for NY within 2 hours of discovering this mess; there was no way I could have cleaned everything within that time frame. I quickly searched Google and found, "Fire Island Cleaning". They're a new company, but I was promised that my home would be professionally cleaned, and that there was nothing to be worried about. I returned home on Sunday evening and I could not believe how clean my home was. I immediately called back and expressed how impressed I was with their service. I procrastinated when choosing a service to come clean my house before a birthday party. I sent out for quotes and Patrick from Fire Island Cleaning replied promptly - we sent some messages and he came back with a competitive quote. I got distracted by work and the night before I needed the cleaning, I was scanning emails and saw Patrick had sent another message asking if I had made a decision and I realized "OH NO" I forgot to confirm! But even at 8pm, Patrick was checking messages and set up a cleaning for the time window I needed. So A+ on communication and flexibility. He and a nice woman, Alicia, came over and walked through what I needed. Took about 3 hours for the 2 of them and the house looked and smelled great afterwards. My mother came over shortly afterwards and was impressed - and that's a high standard. Alicia even cleaned inside my refrigerator. What a stress relief before a party. I had family coming into town and realized my house was not in a condition where I felt comfortable having over guests. Patrick came to my apartment and was super friendly and did a great and thorough job at cleaning every single surface, appliance and floor in there. I have a small apartment that I just moved into so it had a lot of built up grime and dirt from the previous owners/being vacant for quite some time. After Patrick left, I literally felt like I had a nice place to come home to, smelling nice and not skeevy at all. Super happy with Fire Island Cleaning and Patrick's work today!!
