We were hoping to grab some food, drinks, and catch the WNBA games while we were there. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed to find out that they didn't have WNBA League Pass--even though the Dream vs. Mercury game was actually listed on their clipboard of sporting events for the day. So, we ended up sitting in a sports bar watching the game on our phones. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the visit. Walk-On's is a sports bar, and practically every TV was showing preseason NFL games. Those games don't even count toward the regular season, while the WNBA game we wanted to watch had actual playoff implications. I would really love to see Walk-On's invest in WNBA League Pass and give patrons the opportunity to watch women's sports too. Women's sports deserve space on the TVs in sports bars just like men's sports do. Everyone Watches Women's Sports. Thankfully, the food and service were good enough that we stayed and still had a great time. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos with chips and queso, and they were fabulous! My date ordered the redfish tacos and said they were amazing, and our friend had the gumbo. The crackers served with the gumbo tasted a little stale, but that was really our only complaint about the food. We all had drinks, our bartender was really cool, and overall it turned into a fun, spontaneous outing. We would definitely come back--but Walk-On's, get that WNBA League Pass! If you're going to be a sports bar, let us watch all the sports.

For the burgers they give you a variety of options for buns. The servers always put in effort to be courteous. Sometimes their music is a little bit loud but that's just the places atmosphere. They also have good specials throughout the week, like Monday speciality burgers are $10 (includes a drink and side). I haven't had alcohol here but they seem to also have good drink prices. You wouldn't know from seeing this place on the outside but it's a quality restaurant.

I will say I've heard good things and bad things about this restaurant, but we decided to try it for ourselves. First of all, you walk in, and when you were the only table there, that should've been my sign. We sit down and our waitress was as nice as she can be, let me start with that. First of all, it was so hot in there and we asked the waitress about it and she said yes we know it's hot in here and we don't know why. If so, many people are complaining about the warmth, do something about it figure it out. So we ordered the street taco fries and the breakfast burger. So I asked the waitress what condiments come on the burger? And she says nothing but the cheese, egg, bacon, burger. She then says how would you like that cooked and I said medium. We then asked for no onions on the fries. So my burger comes out with the meat swimming in mayonnaise. Not just a little bit not just a medium, but swimming in it. Then the cheese was missing, yes totally missing. So we call the lady over and she takes it back to the kitchen as my boyfriend's meal is sitting in front of him I tell him to go eat it. Don't wait for me. The fries with the street taco stuff on it were crunchy, which means they were not fresh nor were they hot. So my burger comes back, I start to eat it and it is well done. Now when I say well done, I mean hockey puck well done. The waffle fries, which were hot, were not fresh. So I did not eat those. We then called the waitress over and we tell her about the Berger and I said look I know it's not your fault, but I cannot eat this hockey puck of a burger. So I asked to see the manager So the manager comes over and she apologizes and what have you and then takes it off our bill. Now with this said, yes, they did the right thing, but it felt very disingenuous and just didn't see the care. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this establishment, and I just have to say don't try it. Somebody at this company needs to rework their menu and retrain their staff. If you cannot cook a burger correctly, don't cook burgers. I learned my lesson and not going back to the establishment and it was absolutely a horrible meal. There was nobody in the restaurant except us and another table. So yes, I spent a lot of money for beer, a margarita, and some street taco fries that were disgusting.
