This restaurant is truly fantastic! With the myriad of rooms, each person feels like they're having their own dedicated dining experience. The owners are highly engaged in ensuring that you have an exceptional dining experience. From the fun room with all the superheroes to the outside to the main room with all the TVs it's just a unique dining experience, no matter where you sit. The food is top-notch we took on the mixed grill and had a delightful dining experience with humus and baba ghanoush that you could eat with a spoon. The chicken kebab were delicious. Had a nice texture to him very flavorful and not overly spicy perfect for children. Their french fries are absolutely worth getting no matter what the dining choice. They are fresh cut cooked perfectly and have an absolutely delicious taste and crispness. I would get them as an appetizer all by themselves. We are definitely gonna become regulars here as the price point is not too high has to be cost prohibitive, except on the most rare of occasions, yet the dining is white tablecloth with appropriate level of elegance. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was shockingly bad We were served burnt food -- not slightly overdone, but completely burnt. When the waitress asked if everything was okay, I told her directly that the food was burnt. She smiled, said nothing, and walked away. No apology, no acknowledgment, no attempt to fix anything. From that point on, she essentially abandoned our table. She never cleared our appetizer plates, never checked back, and we had to chase her down just to get the check. When we told her again that everything was burnt, she acted surprised and gave us a sarcastic pouty face, even though I had already told her earlier. She said she would "talk to the lady," and when I asked who that was, she said it was the manager. A few minutes later she returned and told us -- word for word -- that "the lady doesn't care, my manager doesn't care." I have never in my life had a restaurant openly admit they don't care about serving burnt food or about their customers' experience. To make matters worse, when I checked the receipt afterward, we had been overcharged by $30. Between the burnt meals, the dismissive attitude, the lack of service, the bizarre unprofessional behavior, and a manager who apparently "doesn't care," this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Houston. There are too many excellent Mediterranean restaurants in this city to waste time or money at a place that treats customers like this. read more

We spoke to our server about the crappy food and after staring at us for over a minute, she mumbled something and then abruptly walked away. When she finally came back, she said she spoke with the manager and the manager said they didn't care. Service was great, no complaints there. Restaurant is quite nice from the inside but people are smoking hookah and we came with kids so had to sit outside. Outside there were no heaters, so we wore our jackets to stay warm. The chairs to sit on were slightly uncomfortable & hard to move around. Anyhow, we got situated. We ordered the Fattoush Salad, Falafal wrap & cheese pizza with two toppings. The Fattoush salad was a lack luster, and could have been done better with some other toppings perhaps. Falafal wrap with fries was good, though the Masala fries lacked flavor, and were just like regular fries. The pizza was huge in size & great value for money lol. Went for lunch, they are now open at 11 am, and was wowed by the inside. Very comfortable seating. Had sports and Friends on the tv. Gives out bottled water. We did have a large party and the food did take a while but it was good! They accidentally swapped out my falafel wrap with a chicken with the friend sitting next to me but since they cut it in half, it gave us a chance to swap the second part with each other and try both wraps. I ordered a soup, it was large and good - was smoother than I though it was. They were attentive. I would return!!!! read more

Messa is a really solid spot. Great decor, plush comfortable seating, and really chill ambiance. The service was great for a Sunday evening and everything I had was good. I had the chicken kafta kabob, fresh watermelon juice (delicious!), and lemon mint hookah. I'll be coming back here soon for sure. read more

Incredible Experience at The Messa! All i can say. My girlfriend decided we should go here for Sunday dinner. It was delicious. We had the mixed grill with rice , hummus and fries. All of the meat was fantastic! Seasoned to perfection. The flavors i remember since a kid! My favorite of the mix was definitely the chicken. It was so good, tender, wild not mild spices. I've frequently visited this location since they opened. When they opened, everything was great. I even recommend it to my family. The last 2 times I have visited, have not been impressive at all. The food quality and service has declined. The last visit we had, they had some kind of fragrance pumping through the air vents. The scent was entirely too strong that my whole table would choke every time it went off. The food and drinks take forever to be served. This place was amazing, 10/10! Went here on a whim to get some hookah and food with my man. Niti was our server and she was amazing. Everyone was really nice, not sure if they were managers or the owners but everybody came by our table to check on us and make sure we were good! We were sat in the black room, which was a whole vibe. I loved the ambiance, perfect for an impromptu date night. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. For our hookah, I let her choose her favorite flavor and it was so bomb. We had the hookah with an orange head, 10/10! For our entrees, my man got the lamb chops with hummus and rice. I don't know if I should start out with the fact that i've been stalking this place with driving by just about every day to see if it has opened. Anyways.. I did. Until 1 day, I was driving by, and I saw an amazing display of lights through a thick tinted window. Alas! I saw cars and people walking in.. The moment i've been waiting for. This place is a slight replica of parkerz with more of a dash of chic in the mix. The amazing thing is that you don't have to drive over 45 minutes to the other side of town for all of us who live in the area. It is something that we need.. hands down. While I didn't have the pleasure of trying any of their food. I did try their lemon mint hookah, and it was super good. I also tried their chai latte. Definitely on point and needed that pick me up. For lovers of Mediterranean food and those who are looking to try it: We were immediately greeted upon entering and the owner came and showed us around the restaurant. There are a few different places to sit (e.g., patio, rose room, etc.), some areas more intimate than others, and the owner let us choose where we wanted to sit. We chose the rose room which was perfectly decorated and private. We ordered the chicken kabob, beef kabob, and the filet mignon. For dessert we ordered the tres leches and Nutella cheesecake. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! The owner came to check on us and chat with us multiple times which made the service an 11/10. Truly, truly, highly recommend this place. read more
