    Key Lime Cheesecake

Started with French onion soup, then had the 16oz ribeye steak and fresh cut sea salt fries. Topped that off with key lime cheese cake. I have to say, the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was exceptional and ambience very nice. The room temperature is always a little cool in the restaurant but overall experience was great.

I am not a casino kind of gal but with food like this and a spa I can get used to this! We came here for a belated anniversary trip and I dared to try lobster again after a not so enjoyable experience years ago. My husband got the 9 oz fillet and we split the red potatoes, Mac, and cream spinach. They started us off with what tasted like house made butter and bread with an olive oil and herb dipping sauce. It was delicious and I had to remind myself that I had a big meal to save for. The lobster was perfectly seasoned and deliciously tender. The melted butter made it perfect. I had a bite of the filet and it was so tender. There was a pesto dipping sauce that was amazing. I would've taken it home if I was brave enough to ask! I had a southern hurricane and it was good. Not about of alcohol but that doesn't really matter to me. The restaurant itself is nice. The food is definitely nice than the atmosphere but that's the better of the two options! At the end of the meal they brought out house made truffles served over dry ice. It was quite the show and so yummy. They surprised us with a slice of cheesecake embellished with "happy anniversary. " not a big cheesecake fan but it was good! Lastly, the waiters and waitresses deliver a red rose to the every woman after dinner. It was so sweet to walk around the casino with it. Would definitely return!

This is a nice intimate spot for dining... celebrating my hubby's birthday we decided to check them out. Definitely can spend $100 here easy!! Heads up...We had to make a reservation for a table but you can always sit at the bar...Our waitress was friendly and attentive... I ordered the pan roasted salmon on a bed of roasted potatoes $30... I added asparagus $6 hubby ordered the pan seared sea bass on a bed of spinach $40 ... he added the baked potato loaded $6 ... honestly the food was really delicious! For the portions a bit overpriced... I also ordered dessert chocolate cake $13 but also very delicious! I probably will be back but will order a steak just to see if it's as good as the fish... overall great experience! Check out my pics

We enjoyed Celeste's wedding anniversaries this weekend at Fire. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. The Seafood Risotto, French Onion soup were all tasty. The Steak Frittes was good but the fries were soggy. Not sure if that comes from the dome making them sweat or not. I would also recommend not putting the steak on top of the fries! A special thank you to Ms. Kendricks for making our evening extra special.

My husband surprised me with two nights at Windcreek for our long overdue anniversary celebration. We had delayed it due to my cancer diagnosis in early 2021. Windcreek is close by with accommodations, food and entertainment in one place. My sweet love did good while considering my fatigue. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we had never been here before. Our daughters made us reservations at The Fire for our second night via Open Table. This is a beautiful place with a warm ambience. It was even more over the top because of our server. She was phenomenal at meeting our needs. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. When we arrived, my husband struggled a bit to get me through the heavy doors in my wheelchair because there is no handicapped access. Once in, we waited about a minute for the hostess to come from the back. This gave us a chance to pick the best seats. LOL! We quickly learned all of the seats are good for couples hoping for a romantic dining experience. As soon as we sat down, our server greeted us and then brought waters and a yummy bread basket. We had a late lunch and weren't very hungry. We probably should've tried to move our dinner reservations until later. Same on us! We ordered shrimp scampi, beer braised baby back ribs, and asparagus along with beer and an Arnold Palmer (a mix of lemonade and tea). We were not impressed with the ribs and shrimp. The ribs had very little meat with no hint of a beer rub. My husband expected so much more. My five extra large shrimp were under seasoned and a bit over cooked. The garlic butter sauce was watery. Our daughters told us later that the steak is the bomb. Next time we will try that.

You will NEVER be disappointed at the Fire restaurant. The bone in ribeyes are the best I've eaten anywhere within 300 miles. The lobster Mac and cheese is truly the best side dish. The salads are also full of flavor and they have really good homemade ranch dressing. The desserts are also great. This place is a must try. If you go once you will be hooked.

Our Place Cafe is a strange little restaurant. I've been to this place twice: once for dinner, and…read morerecently for brunch. As always, the most important aspect to dining out is service. Now, what's funny is that the woman who owns Our Place, Corrie Sid, also owns Cafe de Fleur in Auburn - which I actually gave 1 star for having service so slow they we weren't able to get our meals. Well, Our Place is also quite slow, though not to the same degree. Just like the other restaurant, they seem genuinely short-staffed, even though Our Place was mostly empty at the time. But what really sets Our Place apart - in a bad way - is the environment. Normally, I don't give too much thought to interior design, but this one raises a few serious flags. It's a very old building; I can only guess what its original purpose was. You can see daylight peeking through the walls, which is odd. And the rusted tin roof isn't so much charming and folksy as it is off-putting. However, the big issue that caught my eye was the thick layer of dust over the ceiling diffuser, right above the tables on the ground floor. When the AC kicks on, the result will be blast of dust, grease, and mold spores directly onto the food of the people below. I'm not even going to talk about the food, other than saying "it's fine." Normally a place like this would garner 2 or 3 stars, but the questionable (to say the least) health and safety of Our Place Cafe prevents me from doing that in good conscience. 1 star.

Never fear, these folks hustle!! and our wait was less than 2 minutes. Our server, Hope, was excellent: prompt, courteous, informative, and patient. (5 stars for her) A warm loaf of bread tided us over until our mains arrived. Clunky steak knife for cutting and buttering...not so welcome. Mains were tender, succulent, flavorful beef filets cooked exactly as we ordered. Our sides: rice pilaf (ok), sweet potato (yummy - with brown sugar on the side), tender asparagus (nice cook with buttery/lemon finish), and (star of my dinner show) were fried Brussels sprouts with sweet glaze (amazing!!!) Half star off for cutlery. Very large steak knife is not the best utensil for buttering, let alone cutting the bread. Two large forks - simply not needed; one would suffice. All-in-all one of the best dinners we've had in a while.
