Had my Para 1911 "upgraded" with a parts to fire 9mm and have a high performing firearm. Did not turn out the way. Owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. You do NOT want to do business here. Jacks prices as much as they can and on top of that, my firearm jams every single range trip. Owner told me lube it up every use but this thing is soaked and still runs terrible. These guys were life savers. Was cleaning my BCG and then extractor when I noticed that when I punched out my pin it came out as two pieces. Called these guys up and they helped me out same day. They have plenty of small parts for your ARs. So anyone in the area looking for small parts or custom builds and cerakote I'd recommend these guys. read more

I stopped in looking for ammo and remembered TDS Guns supposedly moved into the Eastlake area. When I pulled up the website Firearms Performance Center came up. When I asked one of the associates in the store he confirmed they used to be TDS Guns. This looks like a legit gun store. Most of the main store is in a back garage warehouse type set up. I did not recognize any of the staff from the previous TDS Store, however, the staff was friendly and helped me out. I'd make another trek here. read more

Maybe they're a good place for gunsmithing or 80%s, I don't know, but as far as a gun shop goes I won' be back. The "retail" space is a single room measuring about 8' x 10' and only has a few guns, some of which aren't even for sale. You have to be buzzed in like a pawn shop and the employee who greeted me stood there with a hand behind his back the whole time we talked. I very much got the vibe that I wasn't welcome. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional especially the owner/manager.

After deciding to have a sight mount installed on my firearm, I emailed Firearms Performance Center in order to receive a quote or estimate. I specified what sight it was, and even included a link containing the installation instructions for the sight mount. They promptly responded that the install was no problem, and that it would cost $40, and that if I dropped it off at the beginning of the day it would be ready by day's end. With this information, I then ordered the sight mount; I had not ordered it beforehand, because I wanted to be sure that I would be able to get it installed for a decent price. Upon delivery of the sight mount, I went over to FPC with the mount and my firearm. When there, the person who greeted me took a look at it as well as my firearm, and reduced the quote to $20, and explained that because they were backed up at the moment, it could take several days instead of that same day. I was fine with this, and left the store. No more than ten minutes after I had gotten back home, I got a call from them that it would actually cost $120, and would take up to a month. They had, apparently, completely neglected to read the instructions included with my initial email to them, and hadn't realized that a hole would need to be drilled and tapped. I went back to the store to talk to them, and interacted with two people. One, the gunsmith that was handling the order, was apologetic and professional. The other, the same man who I had interacted with when dropping off my firearm, was much less so. At the end of the day, I have lost money in multiple ways. I will have to return the sight that I ordered, and not only lose the shipping I paid in the first place, but also pay return shipping, despite the fact that I ordered it after receiving confirmation that they would be able to install it. They were also not willing to at least reimburse me for the initial and return shipping. I should have heeded the 1 star reviews below, but I did not. Avoid doing business of any kind with them at all costs; not only did they not bother to read the email I sent them before quoting, but they were also incredibly rude and unprofessional, save for the one gunsmith that explained why he wasn't able to do the work. read more
