A good size portion of fresh beef on a soft bun... amazing! The person behind the counter was also very friendly and helpful, since this was my first time. I then saw the guy working the register go in the cooking area talking to one of the food prep guys and they started touching their ears and removing their earrings to show each other immediately next to food prep station. It was disgusting and in violation of food safety regulations. I immediately called over the guy working the register and asked for the manager. I told her what I just witnessed and that it was disgusting and unhygienic for them to touch their ears like they were in the presence of food. Additionally, for those workers to not wear gloves while preparing the food is unacceptable as well. Confusingly, there is no sign for this store at all. The Blue Moon guy cheerily confirmed that I was in the right place when I timidly walked in, and my food was there already. For my first visit, I went with the "kinda hot" Nashville chicken sandwich and kinda hot fries. I was pleasantly surprised by the juicy chicken, which was also "kinda" crunchy. As far as hot chicken goes, kinda hot was really mild, so don't be afraid to order "hot" if that's what you want. I probably could've gone for more sauce and bigger pickles (both from an acid and texture perspective), and the soft bun didn't look like much, but was easy to hold and kept the components together. I'm a big fan of hot food and just stuck with the 3 Alarm Chicken Sandwhich without any sides. Food was ready as promised and I picked up from inside the Blue Moon Express. If you are looking for any signs, I don't recalling any. Had I seen the signs, I may have stopped in sooner. While not my new favorite Chicken sandwich in the world, it was a tasty sandwich. I was somewhat unimpressed with the appearance of the sandwich but have learned that looks may not be everything when it comes to food. I wonder if it would have tasted better if those mixed pickles available. Tartufo and fungi pizza from Alanza pizza, and Sweet and sticky wings from Wing Trip.
