I was here for an appointment when I witnessed one of the most sickening things ever! Young lady here with her child (approx 7 y.o) and they said they couldn't see her because she had her kid but when making the appoint the day before with her child present they did not say that! Made this young lady cry in front of her child and when I say I'd sit with the child they then said the lady was being asked to leave ‍ how sickening !!! She's begging for help for a hurting tooth as she was here by appointment!!!! Then the placed is packed i think because it's able to get people in so fast but this shows, they go fast with their work just to get more patients in and more money flow. went in to have a cavity filled and the next day i could feel my heartbeat in my jaw - i applied ice- i called fireburg 2 days later when the pain would not subside and was told "we do not prescribe pain pills for first time patients". on the 5th day of this awful pain, i drive to fireburg, the dentist looks in my mouth and says nothing is wrong (no xrays taken - just visual, and that they do not prescribe pain pills to first time patients - ok but i never asked these idiots for a pain medication. I ended up going to my medical dr and guess what, I had a infection that antibiotics took care of. RUN, DONT WALK FROM THIS PLACE - THESE PEOPLE/FACILITY SHOULD BE PROSCUTED!!! read more

I have gotten Dentures here twice. Unfortunately my sister's dog ate my top plate. I had to pay cash to replace them.That was full price not what they accept from Insurances. Three impressions and they still aren't right. They did the best they can do they say. Now they are closing for the day and I'm still without teeth or my cash so I can go to somone else that won't take three weeks for bad fitting dentures that fall out my mouth as soon as I talk. read more

Had a filling, Dentist Patel at that time filed my tooth in between and food kept getting stuck in it.... Dentist put a new filling in wayyyyyyy to deep where it was pressing my nerve... had a root canal and crown and that's where it went bad. My crown fell off month or so..... went back they put it on... crown fell off again a month or two if that.... went back Dr. Fireberg put crown in and jammed it my gum line and way to much adhesive in the crown where it was hurting.... figured it was just placement.... and needed to recover and boooooom less then a few weeks no crown and NO TOOTH! Went to another dentist for an emergency and was told it was jammed in my gum line as there was a mark there... and my gum is inflamed from the placement also was never told I have issues with my gums by them!!! They ruined my tooth improper placement affecting the crown and adhesive that pulled my tooth out. I've been coming here early 2000s I also made a phone call and left a voicemail and no return call back they also chipped my teeth in the back filing the crown down. After this last appointment, to see what can be done since this is their fault... I will be going to another dentist in Oakland county! read more

This place is not a good place for any kind of work the staff is rude. Horrible wait. Each time I'm told "we're short a doctor" which is their favorite line to propose when they're constantly running behind. Hours at that. I have to always try to coordinate appointments on days when i either have nothing to do or days when my to dos are later in the day. When you speak up to let them know they then refuse business for your honesty as they expect everyone to just be treated any type of way by the staff. I don't appreciate it. My son was seen in august 2022 for pain he was experiencing from one of his back teeth. The lady that did his exam told me he had a lot of plaque buildup around one of his molars the top left to be exact. She advised me that a root canal could be done but she cleaned around the tooth and that might stop the pain so I told her I would wait on the root canal and would see if the cleaning around the tooth would help. My son hasn't experienced any pain since so apparently cleaning around that tooth helped. My problem is I got on the waiting list for a different dentist for my son to go to and they called this morning to schedule him for a cleaning and upon verifying his insurance I was informed that Fireberg billed for a full cleaning and he wouldn't be eligible for 6 months to get his teeth cleaned. This service wasn't performed so that's FALSIFYING BILLING and I contacted Fireberg's office only to be told that the person who seen my son wouldn't bill for a full cleaning if they didn't do a full cleaning so basically saying that I'm not telling the truth! I was also asked if I was for sure and if I was in the room with my son when services were being performed. My son is 15 he knows if all of his teeth were cleaned and flossed by a hygienist and then examined by a dentist because that's protocol for a regular cleaning. Besides the fact that the lady told me exactly what she did! I have filed 3 grievances with my insurance company and I have reported fraudulent billing. If you go here or are thinking about going here be aware of what you're actually being billed for. This is horrible and taking a advantage of their customers! The place is filthy! It smells like wet, moldy cigarettes when you walk in. There's half an inch of dead bugs up in the ceiling lights. The chairs and pens are not regularly sanitized. People coming in were not wearing masks, but some were. They were coughing all over each other. The lobby was packed to the rim. The only reason I go here is because of ONE particular doctor. It is a shame they make the lower class wait so long in this filth. I don't mind waiting, but they should have it where you can wait in your car to be called. If I could give zero stars I would! This office hurt me so bad I am now TERRIFIED of dental work and need to take antianxiety medication before a basic cleaning procedure. Numbed my mouth improperly, by time I got worked on I wasnt numb anymore. They didnt even work on the tooth I was there over, they "accidentally" worked on the wrong one. They had my jaw propped open and refused to remove the guards when my mouth started hurting. Cut my tongue while working on a filling and the dentist told me no you'll be fine when I started saying I was choking from all the blood not getting suctioned out of my mouth. I went in over 1 tooth needing to be drilled and filled, they did 5 and still MISSED the only one that hurt! read more

I've heard many unbecoming stories of this dental office even before I became a dental assistant. My mothers insurance was accepted here and for the first few times she went she seemed to like it. But not only did they pull far too many teeth at one time for someone who has a heart condition, and they then sent her home ( driving by herself) where she showed up at my house feeling incredibly unwell from the procedure, whoever took the initial impression did a terrible job and she went back after healing multiple times to have it fixed. They finally decided to do a new impression and told her to come back to have it adjusted after she got the new ones. Sadly she did that today and was looking forward to finally having a better fitting set of dentures, but instead they told her there was nothing they could do about it. She said the young dentist was full of attitude and treated her very poorly and that he refused to help her anymore. And when she asked why everything taste weird when she wears her dentures he told her that she was probably allergic to the zinc in the adhesive, and told her that it was her problem to find something that worked. I'm truly disgusted by how this dental practice is ran without any doubt sympathy for its patients or what seems like competent assistants or dentists. So if you're looking for a dental office I suggested you choose otherwise!!! read more

I have been going to this dentist for as long as I can remember, had a terrible experience last time but wanted to give them another shot! Last time I had to get 2 teeth extracted and all the yanking and pulling stretched my gums out so bad and there was so much bleeding I had to get 7 stitches in my mouth that weren't even place tight... they unstitched the next day unfortunately and almost a year later my gums still never closed properly!!!!! Today I had an appointment at 2pm and when I entered the building as I walk down the hall I counted 37 people between the hallways, waiting room and the overflow waiting area!!!! We are in the middle of a pandemic and ALL THE SEATS WERE FULL!!!!! The office closes at 4 and with that many people being there just 2 short hours before closing what kind of care could they be supplying??!!!!! Fireburg dental is the most Non-Caring Dentist, I have ever been to in my life. I went in to have 3 cavities filled, and one mohlor pulled. I had Dr.fireburg come in, and work on me first, he was very rude, and disrespectful. So I asked for Dr. Baker to do my work for me, and he was also very rude. He had a major attitude from the time he walked into the room, to see me. Any question I had asked him, he made a complete rude comment back about it. He was Not helpful at all. He did Not Numb my mouth Nearly as much as I needed it, before he started working on my teeth, and turned around, and had the Nerve to say, that I was Numb enough, and I would be OK. While I'm sitting in the chair crying my eyes out, because I was in So much pain. That whole place is filled with Rude, arrogant, assholes. I went to this dentist and I was already nervous about going to dentist because of past exp. I was told Dr. Is great will numb won't hurt hardly at all. I was given shots in my teeth for numbing which hurt because my gums are very sensitive anyways I explained to the Dr. About my fear of Dentists and he said I will make sure your good and numb. Unfortunately that's not what happened OH yeah I also was given Laughing gas which I didn't laugh not one time I cried it Hurt So Bad!!!!! The Dr. Took a scalpel and poked my gums and said do u feel that and I said no so he proceeded to start pulling my tooth I felt the most excruciating pain and started balling like a baby I couldn't believe how much pain I was In so he said ok we will give u more numbing gel be back in a few min. After u get more numb well he didn't come back quick enough and it wore of so he proceeded in pulling my teeth again and again I started crying purvusively and he said ok let's numb it more so he took the needle and squirted the numbing agent in my mouth so much that I started choking and had a time breathing because he ended up squirting the numbing agent down my throat and I already suffer from Thyroid problems so I syarted choking well his asst. Asked if I wanted water well uh yeah I' m choking. So anyways he comes back in and he proceeds to start pulling my teeth i think he pulled like four and I said this hurts to bad have to stop can deal with it anymore. I was balling and screaming because it Hurt so bad and he said u can't yell like that because I have more patients waiting and the way your acting is hindering my time to go help them is basically what he said. He said u can wait two months and go to Ann Arbor to get sedated and pay 300.00-400.00 out of your own pocket. So I decided to let him put me through more excruciating pain because what's wrong with my gums I can die. So I need to get them out asap. On Tuesday 6/27/2017 my husband took our 8 year old son for a cleaning at Fireburg. After the exam they advised that my son has 7 SEVEN cavities and wanted to do some of the work right then and there. Now wait a minute, my sons school has a dental company come in twice a year to check teeth and advise treatment if needed. Just in April he was sent home with a report that there were NO ISSUES just was due for a cleaning. I couldn't believe what Fireburg was telling me so I requested the xrays and when for a second opinion. This morning 6/30/2017 he was seen by Family Dental Group on Miller rd. We were told that he only had ONE cavitiy and it didn't need to be filled because it was a tooth that he was about lose anyways!! Now if that is not bad business I don't know what it. I would highly suggest seeking other offices for treatment. My husband was also told that ne had EIGHT cavities and he is also seeking a second opinion, his appointment is pending. Finally had time to go back and they would not prescribe me the antibiotics I need before having teeth cleaned. Told me to call my Dr. My Dr. won't do it as it is a dentist responsibility to do so. I have been terrified to go to the dentist for as long as I can remember. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They made me very comfortable and worked with me with my fear of the dentist. I was a new patient with a scheduled exam and cleaning. I had a lot going on as I haven't been to the dentist in 20+ years my main concern was my front six teeth that had cavities on the front of them. I figured after the exam and cleaning I would make an appointment to come back and get the work done but they fixed them right then and there with very little pain or discomfort. My fear of the dentist is gone and I will be back to get all my dental needs done here, I will also tell friends and family that this is the place to go sure you have to wait I don't think you can go to a dentist or dr without waiting but it was well worth it.
