Attentive, polite, she made eating here that much better. The place was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon @3pm. They have a wine service that if I wasn't an out of towner would definitely sign up for. The Old Fashioneds here are first class delicious. The sweet Thai chili salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The BBQ pork flatbread was not greasy and full of flavor. Not a very big place, they do have outside seating that's covered though. This was our first time trying this place, but I can already say it definitely won't be our last. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was really nice and inviting. We also noticed they had a self-serve wine dispenser station, which was a cool touch and added to the overall experience. Everything was really good overall. The surf and turf was wonderful, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp absolutely stole the show for me. The crab dip was a little more creamy than I personally prefer, but it was still decent. Now the burnt ends... OMG, amazing. Easily one of the highlights of the night. Our lamb chops weren't originally cooked to the temperature we requested, but the flavor was good and they quickly re-prepared them with no issue, which we appreciated. For dessert, the chocolate layer cake was amazing, and the red velvet mini cake was just as good. Our server was also fantastic. I got to FireBrew and was pleased that it wasn't super busy. The lovely ladies working were super friendly and got me seated in a booth. My sister and I celebrated restaurant week enjoying a chance to try out their food. Regan helped us and she is superb. I tried the perogis and the mushroom onion burger. The perogis are fantastic, the burger was tasty and perfectly cooked. Honestly the only part of my meal that wasn't delightful were the potato wedges, they were hot and soft but not crisp. My husband and I stopped into Fire Brew Bar and Grill last night after seeing it recommended by a TikTok foodie. We were looking for a quick dinner before picking up our son, and the location was convenient. We were seated quickly and the service was friendly, but the food took longer than expected for fairly basic orders. I ordered the Chicken Philly cheesesteak with potato wedges. While I liked the idea that they don't use deep fryers and cook everything fresh, the execution missed the mark. The chicken and melted cheese were very dry, the bun was small, and the portion felt more like a lunch plate. The fries were also a very small portion and tasted dry and slightly undercooked. My husband's burger was small and forgettable, though the vegetable side of the day was actually very good and the highlight of the meal. My husband and I visited during VB Restaurants week and we were really impressed with the special menu options, so we had to give them a try. We started with the She Crab and the Potato and Cheese soups; the She Crab had plenty of real crab, but the Potato and Cheese ended up being our favorite. For our second course, we shared the Crab Dip and Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp-both were so good we'd absolutely order them again. For our third course, we had the Bison Meatloaf and the Lemon Caper Parrotfish, and both dishes were delicious and really well prepared. There was so much food that we couldn't finish and took the rest home, and it was just as tasty the second day after reheating (definitely ask your server for reheating tips!). Firebrew Bar & Grill is located in the Red Mill Landing Shopping Center. They are near the corner of General Booth Blvd. and Nimmo Pkwy. You can enter the shopping center from Nimmo Pkwy at the first right after the intersection. There is an apartment complex behind them and CVS is next door to the shopping center. My most recent visit here was on December 24, 2024. Parking can be a bit dicey in the shopping center. Most of the parking spaces near the restaurant are for compact cars only. I don't see many compact cars out there (my car happens to be compact), and those with the bigger vehicles park there anyways. Each one of those vehicles takes up at least two parking spots, and in some cases. four parking spaces. There are non-compact parking spaces further back, so those larger vehicles should park there instead. Every time I have been here, the restaurant has been well maintained, both inside and outside. They do have outdoor seating, but it does become heated covered seating during the winter season. When I come in, I usually ask for Hannah. She's been our server several times here and we have had a good connection when it comes to eating here. She knows what I usually get when I visit, though I do change things up a bit at times. As for the menu, they have quite the drink menu, as well as a wine bar. The food menu is changeable. There are several items, usually those on the Seasonal Delights portion of the menu, that will change with the seasons. I had a birthday coupon, so that's what brought me in on this latest visit. I've always had great experiences each time I have been here. I just hadn't been in for a while, along with other places as I was getting some medical issues in order. Now that I have that under control, I have been able to get back into visiting different places again. I also had a free appetizer coupon for purchasing a gift card recently. Within the past year or so, they changed their rewards program so that it's not something just through Messenger now. The new rewards program has a similar setup to many other places where you earn points for purchases and can get a coupon after reaching a certain point threshold. Since this was during my birthday month, I had some foods that I normally don't eat, as I have been in diabetic remission for about 18 months and counting. With the free appetizer, I went with the soft pretzels. I only did water for a drink. When it came time to order, I went with the Full Rack of BBQ Baby Back Pork Ribs. They didn't have green beans as an option on this visit, so I went with the baked potato wedges instead. My mom went with the Creamy Potato Soup (soup of the day) and the Potato & Cheddar Pierogis appetizer. Shortly after ordering the entrées, the soft pretzels with beer cheese dip came out to the table. Those pretzels were soft and fulfilling. The beer cheese dip was a great complement to the pretzels. Did the pretzels spike my blood sugar? Yes, but it was so good. The main courses came out pretty quickly. I hadn't even finished the pretzels yet when they came out. They have always been fast though in my experiences. The ribs looked really good and it was time to eat. The ribs were fall off the bone good. This is one of my favorite entrée items here. The baked potato wedges were really good too. My mom loved the soup and the appetizer she got as the entrée. I did not go for any desserts though. Overall, this has been another great experience here. The food and service have been on point. Make sure to join their rewards program if you haven't done so already. My family just found this restaurant and wish we had found it sooner. The staff was amazing, friendly, professional, courteous, and just overall fantastic! We went with a service dog and had absolutely no problems. Probably the best restaurant overall that we have ever been to. The food was above any expectations we had, especially for the price. The food was not only great tasting, great plating, but large portions. Honestly, the pictures on their website don't do the food justice. It looks better in person and I can't describe the taste as anything short of the best food we have ever had. We have gone there twice in the last two days and both Haley and Julian were great wait staff. The bacon wrapped shrimp is the biggest shrimp we have ever had, the flatbread pizzas are fantastic, the salads are great (and didn't get us sick), the honey chicken was huge and so tender it fell apart without the need of a knife, the pierogies were so cheesy, and all the drinks were made perfectly. In case you get a chance to try the Unicorn Rave (Pink Lemonade Sour beer) and the Grizz Rizz (alcoholic grape soda that tastes like grape soda) on tap, they are both unique and great flavored. If you are brave enough to mix them, it tastes like a blue raspberry lemonade! We will definitely be back with friends. read more

My son had the steak salad which was very good and my wife and daughter had the bacon wrapped shrimp. They both enjoyed their meal. There is plenty of parking near the restaurant and the first two rows of parking in front of the restaurant are marked for compact vehicles.Their was no wait to be seated and the restaurant was about half full. There are sufficient tables as well as seating at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the soup of day and the bourbon mushroom and onion burger with mixed vegetables. It was all off. I kept mines since it was edible but she sent hers back. The manager was very nice and removed it from the bill and even gave us free dessert!! That was kind. My friend did enjoy her pierogi's though. The salad was ok but the burger was bland. A thick good portioned stack of patty with no taste... Ugh.. There was onion on it but it was cut in really large chunks that weren't edible - how strange? I mean, it's so easy to cut an onion. Went on Sunday August 31t. Upon entering FIREBREW the sound of the waterfall was relaxing. The hostess seated up immediately, it was very clean. The food was amazing, our servers were on point she was friendly an answered all the questions. We had even problem with a Mojito the server went to the bartender, explained the questions that we had and made us a fresh drink and it was fantastic. We had a french dip sandwich, which was amazing. The pirogies, our appetizer were absolutely scrumptious. Then we had a bone in pork chop that was perfectly cooked. It tasted amazing. A mushroom cheeseburger and I had pulled pork sandwich, which was the best I've ever had. It was busy, but, we were not rush. I can honestly say I almost shedded a tear while consuming this amazing meal. Everything was made to perfection. I love salmon and the sweet chili glaze that was layered on it was immaculate. The risotto and asparagus were just icing on the cake. They paired really well with the overall seasoning and flavor of the fish. I've been to Fire Brew twice already and it's going to be hard to not order the salmon on my next visit. I've visited this location on the weekends during dinner and hardly had a long wait. No more than 10 minutes, but regardless it's definitely worth the wait. They offer a decent specialty drink menu and wine selection. The staff is super friendly, and during my visit the manager on duty comes around to check on guest, which I thought was really nice.
