The food, service and ambiance were all great! There was a long wait though that I wasn't expecting. But it was worth it once we tasted the food. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly at mid-rare. I loved the idea of the pancake taco or "paco." The grits were seriously on point (and I typically only say that at restaurants in South Carolina or when we make them at home.) Just a side note: It's a bit off putting when there are several signs telling people that they must claim their table within 5 minutes or lose it; and that you only have 90 minutes at your table. It feels aggressively inhospitable, especially in writing on a chalkboard, at a restaurant where hospitality and service are a part of the experience. Visited this past Sunday and waited for a few days to leave the review. The place is cool, the outdoor bar, gift shop all of it is quite the experience. But we won't be back for a while because the wait was INSANE. We had a party of 6 and we got there just before 11am and didn't have food in front of us until 2pm. They had a full restaurant at closing time. The waiter had noted the kitchen was backed up. I have nothing but great things to say about The Bee and the Biscuit. I heard how great this place was so I had to try it for myself. My boyfriend and I arrived here on a Friday around 10 and they have valet which we absolutely loved because the parking lot can be tricky. So all you have to do is pull up behind the restaurant and they will park your car. We were expecting a huge wait time, originally they told us 45 minutes and we ended up only waiting 25 minutes. That time flew by, while you wait they have a small bar outside to enjoy and they have the cutest little gift shop. While we waited the worker inside the gift shop was the sweetest and she gave us some backstory about the Bee and the Biscuit. After 25 minutes we sat down. We didn't know what to order since everything sounded great but I got the Steak and Eggs Griddle (Medium Rare) and my partner got the Cowboy Benedict. Both were so delicious, please beware you will most likely not finish your food. They give great portions. This place is my absolutely FAVORITE and a must visit during my trips to Sandbridge. The ambiance is incredible and has the coziest vibe. I particularly love the outdoor seating by the garden. I've never had a bad thing here and everything is so delicious. My most recent meal was the Farmstand omelet with a side of cheesy grits. But the real MVP was my oat milk latte! I usually will share my coffee with my husband but I told him to keep his hands off this one. Simply delicious and perfectly balanced. I have been wanting to patron The Bee & the Biscuit for TWO YEARS. I literally live one stop light away, but every time I would try the wait was ridiculous. But on this time we went on a weekday and got seated pretty much immediately. Side note they have valet parking which is clutch. Any who after we got seated we were greeted by our waitress with water and offered us drinks. My friends had mimosa's but I was the designated driver and didn't drink that day. Their drinks looked delicious though. The menu has a lot to offer at a reasonable price. My food was pure perfection, all of our food was. And they give you plenty on your plate so I had enough to take home. I have a special day coming up in 2027 and I am seriously considering inquiring renting this place out for a private brunch event. First time to B&B this past Friday for breakfast with a gal pal! Finally got to try this place in the off season (we won't come in the summer. Way too long of a wait). Highly recommend getting there right when they open. The complementary valet is a wonderful touch! We were immediately offered seating at the bar, which I found a little odd, considering they had spots on the covered porch. I asked for us to be seated on the porch and that was accommodated. We did have to move tables because, even if the porch was heated, there was still a draft on the lower part of the porch. They were kind about it. We started with lattes which were quite good and a generous portion! It was $2 off because we arrived before 8:30; lovely. I had the little farm truck for breakfast and my friend had some kind of Benedict with a biscuit and gravy on top. I tried hers and it was also delicious!
