Wall of beautiful tile colors and materials - brick, glass, ceramic, etc
    Vila B.

Browser to buyer! Amazing staff that was helpful each time I went in - knowledgeable and friendly. The tiles - I love the color, material and size options. The on-point, gorgeous colors really come to life in person. I went in thinking ceramic and was blown away by the glass options. Highly recommended because the team there is patient in walking you through every thing and really help me land at the decision I was extremely happy with.

I had such a wonderful experience with Fireclay! This was my first kitchen renovation, and I honestly didn't know where to start. Their handmade tile is gorgeous, so I purchased their design plan and everything else came together from there. Katya, my design consultant, was fantastic--responsive, kind, and so helpful in bringing my vision to life. With her support (and Fireclay's great customer service team), I now have a backsplash inspired by a quilt my mom and I made together. It's personal, beautiful, and makes me smile every time I walk into the kitchen!

Update with photos at bottom ** , I saw someone selling their left over Evergreen tiles on FB Marketplace and fell in love with the deep, rich color. I was already planning a remodel in my bathroom in deep green/gold/black and it seemed perfect. I did some Research and found they have a showroom here in SF. Went to go look around and see the tile in person. We were greeted by Mark at the door. He was very friendly, and offered tons of info on their process and different tiles, etc. Mark made us feel welcomed even though we didn't have an appt and we didn't spend too much time in the showroom. He helped me every step of the way and answered all my questions. Just keep in mind, lead times to receive tile can be 6-8weeks, not including shipping. All tiles are made to order and handmade so it takes some time. I've finally finished the remodel. However, if there is one complaint I have about this tile, I really wish you could see more of the crackling from far away. You really can't tell unless you get reallllly close. There are parts of the wall where I ran out of tile and had to use small square tiles. I found someone selling their remnants off FB marketplace (by another company) but I feel it blends really well! I went with the tiles on FB because for the amount I needed to finish the bathroom, it wasn't worth the price. I spent $50 instead of $800.

Sample tile on the right, the two different color tiles i received in the same batch on the left

Fireclay makes beautiful tile, but at $34 per square foot, most people would expect a sample tile to color match or come at least close to the tile ordered. When i received my tile from fireclay, the color was not even close to the sample and the trim pieces also were not even close. When i reached out to the company, i was told that there is a color variation disclaimer on their website. I didn't realize that meant i would be receiving tiles that don't even come close to the appearance or the sample tile. To add to it, two of the boxes i received in my shipment were an entirely different color (which ironically matched the sample tile way more), these boxes couldn't even be used in the project because it would completely ruin the look of the bathroom. I am now stuck with extremely expensive tile I don't really like and I just want people to be warned that the sample tiles won't even look like the tile shipped to you and that you may receive extremely different colors in the same shipment. I find this extremely unacceptable for such pricey tile. I won't be purchasing tile from this company ever again.

There are many options for where to buy tile, so when it comes to choosing I always lean toward the place with the best customer service and that is Fireclay Tile by far. When I emailed and called other vendors with questions, it took them days and sometimes weeks to get back to me. Not Fireclay-- Alessandra typically responded the day of and if she was on vacation, her coworkers quickly stepped in within 48 hours. And did I mention how beautiful their tile is? The picture is worth a 1000 words...

Our new blacksplash using Fireclay's Escher tile. What a statement!

Awesome experience with Fireclay tile! I fell in love with their Escher tile when I first saw it on Pinterest. My rep Tiffannie was very helpful every step of the way including sending me samples every possible option of "teal" for us to select from. Ordering was easy, delivery went well, not a single broken tile sending it literally cross country. I love getting inspiration from their site for our next tile project. Recommend Fireclay highly!

I highly recommend Fireclay Tile. My wife and I just remodeled our bathroom using Fireclay tiles on the walls surrounding the tub and on the floor. The tiles are beautiful! Every person who came to work on our bathroom complimented us on the tiles, and our friends and family loved them, too. Ariel, a showroom designer, helped us with colors, and was very helpful throughout the entire process. She answered all of our questions quickly. We also had three renderings done. The bathroom looks just like the rendering we picked, if not better. Overall, we had a great experience and the bathroom looks wonderful. The tiles are expensive, but worth it. All their tiles are made locally (in California), and the ones we selected are made of recycled materials.

Another contractor couldn't start until two weeks later. Alex made a site visit and was very personable. With the lead time, we chose Alex. Right when we chose him, he wanted to start that day! I said OK. That afternoon the demolition began. In two weeks he completed the job. He will work around your schedule. We had a family incident and needed to push back the work a day. We also had to wait a few days for the faucet to be delivered. The hours are up to you. We were OK with his team working into the late evening to get the job done because we were down a bathroom. Vitali and Alex work really really hard and long hours. There were some up sale items, but we picked which ones we wanted. Our vanity was in bad shape; so we updated the vanity, sink, backsplash and faucet. Alex quoted us a great price and offered to do tile flooring which would have made the bathroom even nicer, but we decided that the flooring would be fine. Maybe save that for the next remodel. Going through any type of remodel or home update is emotional and risky. We did a home remodel years back and that's when we learned you can really only choose two of the three: quality, cost, or speed. With Alex we were able to get close to all three. Obviously your home is very dear, and there are small little things that you can sweat over. Your home will never be perfect. Not a year goes by without some work that needs to be done to my home. My partner and I even made mock ups of the design we wanted to achieve. Noe was responsive over text when taking down our requirements, giving quotes, and estimating how much material we should purchase which we purchased on our own (though we might have over purchased our material by 20%, I'd much rather have extra than not enough!). Noe handled the tile and grout pick up when it was ready for installation day, and took care of the misc material purchases (finishing metal edge trim, tileset/cement, etc). Adrian and Luis are fantastic installers. Adrian's communication was really top notch (he kept us informed and updated often) and ran through options and recommended solutions when we encountered a bit of a snag with our subfloor and evened it out for us (we wanted to elongate and cut the corners of our rectangular entry way tile). Luis' tile work also really great. His cuts were clean, tiles were even/level, spacing of the grout lines were pretty even as well. I've had tile work done through a general contractor before (they had some rough cuts and some pretty bad tile lippage leading to uneven surfaces) - their quality is nothing compared to Luis' work, our entry way and fireplace with the herringbone pattern looks so good and it matched our mock ups very closely - they really brought our vision to reality! The three of them Noe, Adrian, and Luis really do live up to their company name as Tile Experts and they are very competitive with their pricing. You can check out the before and after photos (just ignore the ugly carpet in the pictures, we have not replaced it yet!) We are really happy and impressed with the work they did for us and would go back to them for any future tile work.
