This is a mixture of beans, cilantro, corn, jalapeños, red onions, and tomatoes. It's about $16 for the Tex-Mex Bowl. This has avocado, cilantro rice, Cowboy Caviar, marinated cucumbers, pico de gallo, and Thai sauce. Of course an option is to get it with meats added. There's plenty more things including burgers and pork belly tacos among the livestock based foods. For around here it's one of the better places for big crowds. It's got beers and barbecue along with some healthier options. They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Let me start by stating this is my first ever online review but I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years and I'm always eager and wanting to try out new places and when I came on the check out how headquarters. Was I got the mixed reviews therefor I decided I would start with HEadqurters and put my review up. First I heard a bit about headquarters which I later learned also as HQ what I knew going in lots of TVs tap beer and pub style menu. Upon pulling in i truely wouldn't have known if they were open if I didn't do any research. A few reasons I feel this way, one I came during an off peak time of day being in the business I wanted to be able to find out as much as possible without a crowd, second it's a brand new building that went up in the winter no landscaping(yet), and the rock/sand pile from constructing. All very understandable with the season just like I said wouldn't have known. Entering HQ I was instantly greeted and asked where I preferred to sit. I chose one of the high bar tables again I wanted to be able to review and see as much as I could in my first visit. The young lady informed me that my server would be right over but she would start me with my drink order (great teamwork ) I seen the review about the drink from the bar so I ordered a Bloody Mary ( oh and I just really wanted one) she asked if I wanted a beer chaser I asked what they had to offer she stated a few and also referred me to the back of the menu for the complete list. Which was not a small one even though she did not list each individually ( again like 24 taps yes that's a lot) she knew the season ones were when I asked and the rest were listed. I went with spotted cow not that adventurous in the beer department... She took my drink order and again told me my server would be right with me. In this time I took in my surroundings large windows nice and open a second bar looks like it could be almost an outside bar has large garage doors (will ask about this later) I watched the bartender make my Bloody Mary and put it were the servers would pick up drinks and another young lady brought it to my table and informed me she would be taking care of me. She then asked if I had ever been to HQ I had not she then went om to explain the special for the day and a few of her favorite items on the menu making sure to list a nice range seemed like one from each section of the menu. Then asked if she could put in an appetizer of cheese curds or smoked chicken wings. I seen all the reviews on the cheese curds so I wanted to try something not listed I actually went with the hand cut and battered onion rings While I waited for my app I took a walk around separate dining room with booths table and one large table in its own little nook of the room I was looking through to the second bar and the bartender came over opened the door and gave me more info on how Jamie opened hq in February and has another bar in stoughton on how the garage doors will open and have patio seating and 2 volleyball courts now I truely can't wait for warm weather a great picture was just painted for me. My onion rings came up my server prbly was wondering where I ran off to but I was pretty much ready to order the rest of my meal. I decided to go with the headquarters sandwich one of which my server suggested house smoked pork and brisket coleslaw on top yumm, and for side I went with also suggested cup of homemade chicken and rice soup. Onion rings were amazing and huge!!! Headquarters sandwich came out quickly. I tried the soup. Amazing! The sandwich was really good too nice smoky flavor homemade coleslaw. Just a great meal! Overall service was great by everyone that assisted and informed me. I had to find out were Jessica, Natasha, and justin. Everyone was super friendly, and helpful. Very excited to see more of hq in the future. Jamie is doing everything right in my book and although any business will have a few bad reviews I think they will thrive with good ones as they are a new place and in the beginning you learn by doing. Now all is needed is some warm weather!!!! Will be back soon read more

Went for a late lunch. Upon entering, out of three staffers looking at me - no one greeted me or cared that I was there...There was two patrons in the place. Told I could not eat on the patio, "it was closed". I told the server There was no one the place...she replied "there is no server for the patio" (there was a an unbussed table with dirty glassware under the TV on the patio, with the TV outdoor screen pulled open...) No one suggested I eat at the bar or the dining room...So, I ask- can I eat I the dining room. Reply- wherever you want. (the bartender was texting on his phone ignoring this all) So, I walk into a dining room with one other table. The space is just not dirty- it is filthy. Tables had crumbs, the floor had food on it and the carpet has ground in food and dirt to an extent that it should get ripped out. A server with no name tag or apron and no introduction appears and I order a reuben sandwich. Once served , the sandwich looks ok, it just tastes like nothing, save the funny, off tasting what I guessed was1000 island dressing. The Meat was about 2 ounces, a paper thin slice of cheese and I would have stopped eating if I thought I could get a server back into the room. As it happened, the server did not check back - I saw here about 40 minutes after the food was served and eaten. .No offer for a drink refill or conversation, nothing but a check for payment. Wow. In walking around after this uneventful visit, it is obvious the employees have a lot to do- the windows to the new addition are filthy, there is crumbles of real food scattered on the floor outside the rest rooms, there was trash and paper on the Rest rooms floors and in general, the place appeared to be unkempt and in need of a complete clean up. Could not figure this out - until I saw three staffers sitting at the Bar wiith their fces buried in the priority task of reading cell phones. I really have not seen or experienced such apathy or indifference in a retail or restaurant setting in many years. read more

I'm really on the fence with this place. It's a great place to hang out. It's very well kept and a great atmosphere. However, the servers are so clueless, especially about the alcohol. Ordering a drink is the most stressful thing to do there. They either don't know what you're talking about or they don't have it. They out way too much alcohol in the mixed drinks too. The food.... It's a hit or miss, really. The thing I hate most, though, is how terribly loud the music is toward night time. It's not a dance club. I'm only in my 20s, and I can't stand it. I have to scream to my friends. Again.... not a dance club. Music is great, yes, but not when they have it so loud. My last complaint is that the majority of the staff is of high school age which is SO frustrating. I had a hostess who used the word "like" approximately 10 times in the 2 minutes we dealt with her AND she was playing with her hair the ENTIRE time we were there. Gross! I wish they had an older staff. Especially one's who can serve alcohol and know what they're doing. read more

Food terrible, I had to call them because I got a very bad stomach ache from the food. The women that answered the phone was very rude. She had the kitchen manager take over the call and he told me what was on the food for seasoning. So all I can figure is I got bad meat, will never eat here again. read more

Not sure if they misread the order but the little extra container of sauce did not make up for them not being properly prepared. They were dry and just blah! In the future I will just do dine-in here when I want bar food but I am done with carry-out.

Happened along this place and wanted to check it out…read more Looking for a good local bar with a good burger. This place was very cool and friendly patrons. Liz was our bartender and chef. We had a beer and decided to try a nacho burger. Made on a nice flat grill with fried onions, nacho cheese, tomato, olives, jalapeño and lettuce with fries - enough for both of us. Games available in the bar. Great conversation! Definitely a place to stop and have a bite to eat.

One of those places you go by but don't get around to checking it out. It's at the intersection of…read morehighway K and highway 12 across from the Quiktrip. A nice clean Tavern with the grill people were very nice and the food excellent. On Friday their fish fry is with haddock which you don't see very often, It's usually cod and was a nice change. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Give it a shot if in the area it's very good.
