We have come here a couple of times for lunch and have always left happy. Now my main issue (and the only reason I rated 3 stars) is because there are some questionable food handling practices going on in the kitchen. When you walk in there is a long bar to the right, and right behind it in full view is the flat top grill. Now in my opinion this is great, as I can see exactly how my food is being prepared. But it's also not so great when the cook grabs a raw meat patty with her bare hands, slaps it on the grill, and then proceeds to go about her business without ever washing her hands. I watched her cook my entire meal (and probably other's) without ever washing her hands or putting on gloves. Not appealing. All in all it's good food, but I'm not sure the risks of getting sick from unsanitary food handling practices are worth it.

My husband added cheese and onions on the hashbrowns at no extra cost. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, which came with a chaser. They arrived with a spear of mozzarella cheese, pimento olive, smoked sausage, and a dill pickle. The walleye had a nice thin crust and the eggs and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My better half said that he didn't taste any onions in the hashbrowns and they used American cheese, which made them runny. It was a good breakfast, and we enjoyed our time there. However, due to the loudness, we probably won't go back, as it was hard to have a conversation. Be aware that they only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the building. This establishment definitely had a great atmosphere and service, with friendly staff.

Door was repaired. I wonder if that man still possibly echoing poop room instilled PTSD has been notified? The coffee station at this location, while fairly well stocked, and tidy, is unfortunately laid out very poorly. It's an old store, not featuring all the super cool bells and whistles the new showcase stores boast! Just rather sad. At least the road (Main Street) is right this very day, is getting a shiny new black surface for the enjoyment of all the skateboarders who are probably prohibited from even using. For this reason, I'd suggest avoiding the downtown one way only thoroughfare till after the pavers wrap it up.

The only downside is it has the Subway effect where you walk out smelling like their prep kitchen and the smell is hard to kill, even if you're just in and out.

I used to travel the state extensively and could always count on Kwik Trip for clean bathrooms. I will often shop with a social conscious and Kwik Trip is a difficult choice for me. I do not agree with the right wing views of their owners but they have earned my respect for how well they treat their employees.
