My ring after 5 years the color drastically change. Brought it back to see if it can be fixed and I was told it has a crack. We'll i broughted to my other jeweler and they took it apart and realized there is some kind of paper underneath to make to opal shine more plus they confirmed it is not crack and they are repairing it for me otherwise the ring was just ruined. Plus, tthey plan to close up thd little hole that was on the bottom of the ring so no dirt or water will go into it. Additionally they will ensure it is completely sealed on the edges since the opal is bezel. I will not recommended this place any more to friends as the expertise is no longer there. Plus I am surprised there was a piece of paper to make the opal shine more and there should never be a small hole to let in dirt and not able to clean at home. read more

I cracked the band on my engagement ring and brought it here to be repaired. I went in on a Wednesday and was told it would be done either by that Friday or the following Tuesday, and would be about $80. I unfortunately did not get a documented pickup date, this was only a verbal conversation. By Thursday of the following week, I had still not heard anything from them regarding the status of my ring, so I called 4 times and was unable to get through any of the four times. I went in the next day thinking at that point my ring must have been done for at least several days, based on the latest pickup date they communicated to me. However, I go in to the shop only to find out it was still not ready. They, again, told me it would now be done probably later that day, or in a couple more days at most. A full week later, I still had received no communication from them if my ring was done or not. I went in again, and fortunately it was finished this time, but they charged 30% more than what they had originally quoted when I first dropped my ring off. Looks like there are some good reviews for them, so maybe my scenario was a one-off issue. However, due to the extended amount of time it took them to complete the job, the failure to deliver by the agreed upon pickup window, the lack of communication, not answering their phone, and the discrepancy on cost of services, I will certainly not be going back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. George the owner is a scam artist and doesn't keep his word. We went to him after he moved to Pleasanton to purchase our wedding rings. I had a custom ring made by George with a 1 ct center diamond. I paid for SI3-I1 but instead got a diamond with 3 inclusions that I spotted from the moment he gave it to me. I was in tears and so disappointed in my wedding ring. For me to be able to see the inclusions without a magnifying glass is a huge sign of a lower quality diamond. The craftsmanship wasn't there either as one of the prongs needed to be strengthened for fear of me loosing the diamond. Unfortunately he has a no refunds policy so I was stuck. He assured me he would contact me with another stone when he got his new shipment. I have tried over and over again to get my diamond replaced and the only thing I've received is promises of a new diamond when he gets another shipment. This has gone on for years, yes years. Always me calling as I live out of town and him assuring me he will get it fixed for me. We traded in a ring that he made while he was in his fremont/Newark shop that was almost a caret and it was flawless. I would rather of had kept that instead of having the ring and diamond I still have. Moral of the story is stay away if you want an honest jeweler that's does what he says he is going to do. read more

I needed my engagement ring resized from a 7 to 4.5. George was the only jeweler I spoke with who said he could do it without risks, and he quoted the best price. It fits perfectly and the ring structure was completely maintained. He then made me a matching band. It has the slightest indentation to fit around the engagement ring's stones but it's not noticeable when the band is worn by itself. I bought my husband's band from him, a tiffany and co. band he had in his collection that he sold for a fraction of the retail price. Kasaria Jewelers is a smaller independent Jeweler but you can tell by looking at his stuff this guy is a true craftsman. The reason for me coming here is that i needed to get my wedding re-sized (who would have guessed when you lose weight your fingers shrink too). I have a 2 tone (Gold and Silver) wedding ban that needed to be re-sized down 2 sizes (apparently that a lot to re-size a ring) with a lot of intracite laser engravings on it. So to say that I was nervous is an understatement. He gave me a price of $80 and 1 week. I came back a week later and the ring fit perfectly. The details of the ring where still there which I was amazed at. If I had one negative, I would say i wish he had polished and cleaned the ring for me. I did that on my own and the ring looks great.
