We called ahead and reserved a table for our large party, they gave it away to another group of the same size just as we arrived because they didn't ask for their name, just saw that they had the same number of people. Then we had to wait a long time. Plus, the food was very underwhelming. No seasoning except for lemon on the fish, and way too much of it. Burgers were nothing special. Enjoyed the special 'Pork BBQ sandwich' that included a little of this and that - not really sure - maybe small, skinny, fried onions, pickles, who knows. It was DELICIOUS. Fried green beans were served as the side. My son enjoyed the hot buffalo burger (wing hot sauce, jalapeños, cheese). He liked it and I am confident I would have as well. Wow, I get to be the first?! My husband and I found this place when we were looking for somewhere along Rt 43 to grab some lunch. What a pleasant surprise and nice find. For starters, the bar ha 8-10 taps, most were microbrews. The availability of 2 of the drafts impressed us - Great Lakes Christmas ale and Lagunitas Little Something Wild. I ordered the fist sandwich (friend pollack) and my husband ordered the Helluva a Burger. We both really enjoyed the food, and the prices were very reasonable. If our hotel were located in Malvern we likely would have frequented this establishment a few more times over the weekend. They have food specials most days of the week. On Friday they feature and unlimited fish fry. They also had posters up indicating live music most weekend nights. read more

The place is small and dark. The staff was very kind. Prices were reasonable for most things. I got the fish sandwich special, which I think meant eSPECIALly small. All of my friends got burgers. We also had kraut balls and fried pickles for appetizers. These were EXCELLENT! My friends also really like their burgers. They were big and tasty. The waitress told me that they usually have 8 oz of fish on the sandwich, but that currently the filets were a bit smaller. That was an understatement. I'm guessing that I had 2 ounces of fish, and 3 ounces of breading. She did ask how it was. I told her that I was disappointed, b/c it was all breading. She said, "yeah, sorry'. At 63 years old, I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I ordered a steak dinner and some boneless wings. Waitress comes back 10 mins later and stated we're all outta steaks! What else can I get you? I stated - just the wings. 35 mins later the wings arrived and I saw that they were chicken balls like from the frozen food aisle at Save a Lot. No ranch dressing(extra),no silverware, no ice water,(asked 3 times). A few minutes later a steak dinner arrives for me! I said what this!? Your steak!? I asked why did you ruin my dinner and tell me you were out??? Still no silverware,steak sauce, napkins, or just basic service I asked for the manager and she was just as clueless as the waitress. They also switched prices( clarified price when ordering) on my wife's terrible frozen margarita and over charged me 2 dollars for the wings. I got the menu and held my bill next to their menu. She ran my card twice and I will be watching those notifications for fraud, refunds or whatever. Total chaos, but they still had time to chitchat with the locals. Go elsewhere , even MCDS! read more

Fantastic burger. Was steaming hot when it came out and the fries were very good. I had the cowboy burger which had very good BBQ sauce on it and onion straws. Would come back here anytime I'm in the area. Also was a great deal, only $5.99 for meal. read more
