On the phone I was explaining what I knew about the fire pit he built for the previous homeowner which has never worked (he laughed at me in an insulting manner as he interjected that I must have overpaid for the house, so we were already on surprisingly shaky footing). He kept talking over me as I explained the issue and as I mentioned that I was trying to find the right person to help me he hung up.
