But, there is little about the restaurant that is comfortable or memorable. So this gets the standard 3 stars. The Staff - I had the good fortune to interact with several of the staff members this time. And ALL of them were extremely nice, kind, and friendly. They went out of their way to check on me several times and remind me that I could get a refill on my drink. They gall at the checkout even offered to bring me the desert that I had on rewards that was set to expire soon. Some of the best Customer Service I have seen in a while. - 5 stars. The Food - Well this is the number one reason to swing in. They have a number of great creations and options to pick more than one. They do let you customize a sandwich should you want. I think this is as good as it gets (unless you head to a "real" deli where YOU decide what is on the sandwich. This visit I had the Pick 2 (which is common) where I had a fantastic Club sandwich and a Chef salad. Pretty healthy over all. (I used extra dressing and ate brookie bites so scratch the healthiness). 4 stars Overall - This was a fantastic visit to an old favorite. The food could have just a little more wow... and by now you all know how I feel about the clean/institutional look and feel of eateries. A perfect lunch space. I didn't like: 1)They expected customers to pay extra for their mayo/horseradish sauce. While .35 isn't much, and the lady working at the register gave me a tablespoon or so for free as I didn't ask about it until I'd already paid, it should come with the sandwich upon request. 2) the cook was sitting out front smoking when we arrived. I'm really hoping he washed his hands before cooking & starting to slice the mushrooms and that I just didn't see him. 3) there was a table cluttered with papers and a package of cigarettes at the front of the shop. They offer daily specials, weekly trivia contests, and a live music. Entertainers generally play live music several nights a week. Sinclairs host mostly acoustic performers, mainly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainers feature guitar playing solo artists in the bar area. As for the food... it's all pretty tasty. Served in an upscale fashion. And worth mentioning is THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEATLOAF I have ever eaten outside of my own kitchen; and yes, possibly even better than my own... which speaks volumes because I'm generally an excellent cook and extremely particular diner. (Not bragging - just emphasizing that my standards are high). This meatloaf is hearty, rich, and moist, with a firm meaty texture (Not over done with fillers). It's cut generously and served over freshly mashed potatoes topped with a complex & flavorful sauce I'd liken to a rich brown gravy with a hint of herbs & possibly a tad bit of steak sauce for good measure... Its the star. I just wished they served this on their daily menu! Speaking of... their entire menu is thoughtfully made, and the chef deserves major kudos for their talents in the kitchen. It was super fresh - - yes, I tasted it - - and delicious. I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It is a VERY generous serving. I brought over half of it home! Delightfully plated, it was brimming with flavors. Delicious. My husband, the lover of all things "hash" ordered the Farmhouse Hash. I'll be ordering that the next time - - we shall return! - - it looked amazing. Others at the table? Son ordered French Toast, grandson #1 ordered blueberry pancakes (he shared a bite. STUPENDOUS!
