TERRIBLE customer service.. My husband had a mobile order we get to the store 15 minutes later and they're claiming they don't see our order in the system. He shows them the order and receipt but they have him write down our entire order and tell him he needs to wait until they get in touch with management. They had him wait 30 minutes in the store while our food was sitting behind the counter getting cold because they held our FULLY PAID food hostage. Employees were completely rude and were basically acting like he was trying to steal two sandwiches. The food is always great -- that's never up for debate. However, my concern is with the customer service during our recent visit. I understand that Veterans Day is a busy time, but the way some staff members interacted with customers was disappointing. My wife and I both felt the attitude and the manner in which orders were handed to customers were unprofessional. As a military service member, I appreciate businesses that support veterans, but professionalism and courtesy should never be compromised -- especially on a day meant to show appreciation. read more

I came into the store at 7:00 pm to pick up a door dash order There was three people behind the counter as well as a cashier . I stood at the end of the counter where I have been advised in the past this is where I pick up and nobody acknowledged me . In fact one of the employees looked over at me twice and never said a word One of the other employees after he was finished making a sub for the customer went to the back . The cashier was over by the soda machine Picking up ice off of the ground . Another customer came in and got his online order while I continued to wait . Came here Saturday in between running my errands. I ordered my sub and the girl saw the $100 bill in my hand and didn't inform me until after the fact that they don't accept large bills. I told them that makes no sense..There was no posted sign stating this so I asked where could I go to break it. I ended up walking across the street to get change and coming back to order my food. The cashier was rude, the manger was rude, and they just stare you down and don't say anything. I didn't check my food before leaving, and after going through all that carrying my baby in my arms my food was wrong. I didn't want to stop again so I just sucked it up and ate the sub. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN FEELING EXTREMELY SICK! I plan on going to urgent care to make sure I don't have food poisoning. Update: the owner and corporate level manager reached out to me and promised that proper training will be provided. Also, apology letter from employee will be sent to us. I would like to believe that it was just a mistake but No customer should encounter this type of incident. They still have good subs and will be properly trained for better customer service after this incident. If you're in the area, give it a shot. Employee call you bitch ass. They say it was just a joke between colleagues and didn't expect it to be printed out on receipt. But oh well, clearly It says on our receipt. read more

If I could, I would give them a zero, because customer service or customer relations was horrible. During this pandemic me and family are being safe and stay home to help stop the spread of COVID-19. So we place an order through yelp to Firehouse Sub. We ordered 6 sandwiches for me, my wife and my 4 kids. First, we only received 4 sandwiches that were cold, then when we called Firehouse Subs to find out what happened to other two subs, we received an rude and unexpected response. The firehouse employee told us it wasn't anything they could do because all the sandwiches were in the bag, but clearly they messed up some how. We were told to contact third party carrier Grubhub. Let me kept this short we will not be patronizing Firehouse Sub again period. read more

I have to say I am kind of disappointed this time! I am a faithful customer at this location. I had a long day at work & my family & I was in the mood for a good sub. I placed a mobile order as usual. I arrive at the location for pickup. They had just got done making the subs... I'm like cool, good timing. I ordered 4 footlong club subs. Each one was different due to our preferences. I even put in the special instructions to put some of the items on the side because we didn't want any soggy bread. I looked in the bag & there was no banana peppers, oil & vinegar on the side nor was my receipt. Then low & behold they still put those items on the subs instead of on the side making our bread soggy. So, I asked where it was & one of the workers then gave me some on the side. I asked for the receipt to check my order & someone had already disposed it. They then had to print me another one smh. I've never been disappointed by them before, but this was truly irritating! read more

Last night my family walked in about 830. We were greeted by the girl saying "You will have to get your order to go we close at 9." There was 10 of us 6 were kids. When my sister walked in with her kids the lady said really loud " Oh god they just keep coming". I get that it was late but 30 mins was enough time for us to get our food and eat. My mother eats at this location maybe 2 to 3 times a week for lunch. You are paid to make sandwiches and smile. I will never set foot in this restaurant nor will my family. On point just like all the other ones. In Ohio you are greeted when you walk in the door with vibrant cheers, "welcome to Firehouse"! But that didn't seem to catch on here. Still, the subs are the best around. I haven't had all of them. I've had most of them though. And all are worth the premium price you pay. Subs were good, place was clean and new. However, for me, customer service speaks volumes and this place was seriously lacking in that department! We were the only people in there and I felt like we were a little bit of a bother. No smiles whatsoever, no greetings or thank u or ur welcome's when prompted! Awful customer service. Was told it would take 45 min for them to do TWO subs. Because they were only waiting on a big pick up order to be placed. We have been to this location twice and they are some of the rudest people we have encountered. Both times we have been there at 8:00 when they close at 9:00 and have been made to feel like we were such an inconvenience to the staff. My husband went in tonight, at 8:00, and both of the girls at the front sighed heavily and acted very unhappy about him walking in. He ordered his sandwich and wanted a cookie with his combo. There was none out at the counter, so he asked did they have any in the back. The worker very rudely told him no that they don't bake any when it is close to closing (they still were open for an hour). He then went to get his drink and they had already closed down the drink machine for the night. He again had to ask the worker to please do whatever they have to do so he could get his drink. While he was eating his food, he heard one of the workers yell loudly "5-0". The other worker said a few choice words and said "cops! Well we have to be nice to them....unfortunately. ". My husband is also in law enforcement, was just off duty tonight. We had more sandwiches to order "to go" but promptly took our business to the location on Walter Reed Rd where the staff was overly polite and even asked him to donate money towards for our service men. I may be a little bias towards firehouse now because I have been eating it for about 5 years now starting in Virginia and now here in Fayetteville. Very rarely do I get a sub that isn't amazing here. I don't compare this place to other types of food for example Mexican, Chinese.. You get the point, there are definitely better restaurants out there, but when it comes to sub sandwiches, Firehouse 100% out scores Subway, Quiznos, Jimmy Johns by a long shot in my opinion. So if your looking for a great sub that will make you never want a sub from Subway again. Try Firehouse. You will not be disappointed. read more
