This place is usually pretty good but today it was not. Quite a bit shy on the meat and extras. Missing the extra pickle. The workers here are always awesome as far as attitude goes, but they sometimes skimp on tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, meat. The sandwich tasted good. It was just kind of on the skinny side. It's kind of loud when the place is busy so I wouldn't suggest eating your food there. Pick it up and go somewhere else. read more

The sandwiches I received look nothing like what the owner posts. The sandwich I got had less than half the meat of what shown in the sandwiches that the owner post. If you're gonna post a picture, let's post a true picture, Mr. or Mrs. business owner. This is not the first time that I've got a sandwich there that had very little meat on it. There are plenty of places to go and eat sandwiches and Hattiesburg, and yours is by far the one with the least amount of meat, but cost quite a bit. Not really a good value. This is unfortunate because I love firehouse, but unless a manager is there, the workers seem to be incapable of working by themselves. Most of the time the sandwich is great, but my last experience was extremely disappointing. My order was extremely messy and the bag was very dirty as well. The reason for the two star review, which again I would normally never leave for this place, is because when a worker called my name, it was the wrong name and when confronted about it, she told me "I do not care" which left me very angry because that is no way to treat a customer. I can to this location at 5:23pm on Jul 12th and stood at the "Order Here" sign. There two customers in the restaurant. The workers, including the manager on shift ignore my presence and continued on with what they were doing. There were snickering between them as if to see who Acknowledges me first. After waiting an extended period and not being helped, I preceded towards the exit door. That is when one ask can they take my order. I asked for the name of the on duty manager(Selena's I believe) and saw that she was standing at the counter with the workers. She is terrible at customer service and in need of basic managerial training. They're all young and may not know how to greet customers even if you're busy. read more

Love firehouse subs I'm always traveling for work and get subs very often.. I'm in Hattiesburg Mississippi working And went to that store location ordered my sub ate my first half of it and was amazing... before I bit into my second half I noticed a hair on my sub that obviously wasn't mine I went up to the counter and showed the employee and immediately was drenched with apologies from everyone working as well as being accommodated a whole new sub for me as well as a cookie... it almost felt staged how sincere they were and how they immediately proceeded to make my sub right away even with the afternoon lunch rush happening. That's true customer service and I applaud that Firehouse location because mistakes happen and they are moving fast to get people their food so nothing but 5 stars to them! read more

this is regarding the mangement team of firehouse. previously my daughter was employed at this establishment a while back a customer came into the store arguing and yelling at my daughter and when my daughter removed herself from the situation the mangers at the time of employment said that the customer was in the wrong from yelling at her and all was good for a while but today 3 or 4 weeks after the altercation a manger has just let her know that she has been fired for " not handling the situation the right way at firehouse " although she was approved to work this week respectfully I am wondering how was she suppose to handle the situation this is showing me that mangers are incompetent if this had a been a problem it should have been brought to attention she is only human and still in high school if mangers are going to say that's she is alright explain why she is being fired 4 weeks after the altercation read more

We stopped here in the way down to the beach and it was the RIGHT THING TO DO. I always enjoy coming to Firehouse Subs. I love the story and the purpose behind the franchise. I got the engineer (it helps that I happen to be an engineer) fully involved. It was very good. The bread was fresh, the condiments were flavorful, and the sandwich was piled high with meat. The store was clean and the employees were friendly and interactive. We will be returning. read more

For there being so many sandwich shops to choose from, FHS is one of the better ones. Food is very good in quality, establishment is clean and the staff is quite welcoming. If there is a time I do not know what to really have for lunch, FHS is always a great go to spot. read more

I used them for catering and they completely dropped the ball. I had a large order for 40 people. Half the office started their lunch at 11. I get there to the office at 10:45 and no food. Call firehouse to check the status and after about 10 mins of confusion they tell me they lost the order even though my card was already charged. End up delivering the food an hour after it was supposed to be there so half the office missed their opportunity to eat lunch. Food delivered was ok but they really dropped the ball. After three visits I can honestly say that I simply do not get what's so special about this place - other than it's a cheap place to buy plastic pickle buckets and that money I think goes to charity.
