Firehouse subs at 1080 N Wickham road is worst place to get food. It was my bad experience with veggie sub. They don't ask us about what we want to add in and they added unwanted ingredients in my sub. Also, they took long time to make it. Subway is lot better then firehouse subs as subway has clear and open glass so we can see all the ingredient. Don't go over there to pay more and get worst food experience. read more

If I could write a six star review I would for this team. I went to the firehouse sub north of this location and they wouldn't honor an email i got for Bogo promo because my name didn't match. I went to this location and the team was spot on. I showed them the email and they honored it. Not only were they professional but the food was great and the service was quick. I don't understand why this happens at restaurants. I come home after a long days of work and my kid tells me he thinks he had mold on his sub. I open the fridge and realize he had ate a foot-long the biggest sub they have Fire House on Sarno and Wickham. This is unacceptable. i'm calling the restaurant tomorrow. Had to take a notch off this location today. Why? Because for years there has always been Cholula hot sauce, which makes or breaks the particular sub I get. All of a sudden, it's gone and they are refusing to order more until the other brands get used up some, EVEN THOUGH they admitted that Cholula is the most popular sauce. What?! Does that make ANY business sense?! Take away the most in demand sauce until the unpopular ones get used up?!?! That sounds like something that would make sense to the government. :/ They told me I could buy my own bottle but that it wouldn't be just for me, that it'd have to stay on the counter for public use. WHAT?!?!?! Bad move peeps. You just pushed away a regular customer over a $4 bottle if hot sauce. read more

I haven't tried a Firehouse sub in many years, usually just go to the nearby Subway, Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's for my go to Tuna sub. This sub blew them all away in so many ways; loads of tuna, fresh bread and veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc.). Hands down the best tuna sub of the them all and not to mention the price. I can't wait to try the other subs from Firehouse as the other members of the family brag about and if they are as good or better than the competition then my review while go to five stars. read more

The order taker assumed if been here before and so assumed I wanted a hot sub on a 97 degree afternoon. Didn't ask what I wanted on the sub, and would have put everything on it, had I not noticed a non-descript sign afterwords saying if you ask for it fully involved it comes with mustard. I didn't ask for anything on it, and he didn't ask, but it came with everything. Make sure you don't rely on them to do their job, it was my mistake to do so. Only a large sandwich was over ten bucks. A lot to pay for something that isn't made the way you want. Expressed my displeasure and was told "you should've said you've never been here" maybe they shouldn't assume everyone has. No offer to fix a new sandwich. Definitely won't return. Notice their half hearted reply; basically just "try us again". No offer of a sandwich I would eat for the eleven dollars I already paid. I actually erased my review because the owner of this location promised torefund me my money after a terrible experience where I truly felt insulted by the employees at this restaurant, food was soggy and an online order took an hour to receive and then I was over charged for my order by $10. We'll I received the check from the owner in the mail and he literally sent me $10 instead of the full $20 which I was charged. It kind of just Adds insult to injury. Literally all he did was refund me the money they overcharged. Extremely disappointed in the way firehouse subs is run in both a franchise manner and a corporate manner. My wife and I love the subs at firehouse but we have both agreed, we will never visit another firehouse subs again because of this insane experience. Ok so after being moved along to who I believe is the district manager I am still never going to eat at a firehouse again. I got a generic email from the DM asking me to call him on the phone so instead I wrote him an email so I could have everything in writing. I wrote him explaining that I wanted a full refund and not even joking he responded by saying "please let me know what I can do to make you whole again". I was really taken aback by that comment because I had complained so many times that there is an issue with their payment and rewards system and that all I want is a full refund. Instead I get some weird response making it sound like I'm being a cry baby about firehouse stealing money from me. I emailed him back explaining once again I simply wanted refund. Received my refund today in a firehouse postcard with nothing written on it, not even "Out sincerest apologies." Or anything like that, just blank with a check inside. No wonder the firehouses in Melbourne are terrible! Their managers are terrible so no wonder the employees could care less. Worst firehouse I have ever been to. If I could give it zero stars I would. I have tried it numerous times and EVERY SINGLE TIME they get my order wrong which I don't find out about until my coworker gets back to the office with my sub. The sad part is there is usually at least one other person in our office's order they get wrong. Also the people that work there are rude if you ever do let them know there is an issue.
