The food was pricey but was normal for the quality of the food. When I asked for ketchup, the burger got all mushed up and it fell apart. The staff were kind and gave us lots of fries. COVID - all staff were wearing masks, dividers were up, social distancing markers in place. Probably the top service we have received all quarantine. It's super rare to see every single staff member no exceptions be as courteous, energetic, and just overall genuinely happy to be there to the point that we discussed while waiting how some fast casual restaurants have surpassed sit down restaurants in service quality. Everyone greeted us when we entered and said goodbye when we left. They even separated the fries into both bags and when it was obvious we were going to split one. I'm usually not even a judge of service quality because I care mostly about the food, but this level of service is impossible to ignore. Regarding the food, it's typical awesome Five Guys quality. Cajun style, hot, crispy, and hand cut. Burgers are hot and great as always with going all in on options. I always choose a weird combo of ingredients and even with adding and subtracting, the guys there never make me feel like I'm a bother for being there. Let me start by saying I LOVE Five Guys, but this is by far the worst location I have been to. For one, they don't have milkshakes - even the five guys in England have milkshakes, so this seems like a big miss. Service is incredibly slow and the curbside pick up is a DISASTER. The instructions on the app prompt you to allow them to track your location so they know when you'll arrive and tell you to press a button to notify them when you're actually there. Despite that, you'll be sitting in your car mindlessly waiting until you call them to find out where you're food is - apparently despite all the features in the app, you HAVE TO CALL THEM to tell them you've arrived and then they will bring your food out. Worst technology implementation I have ever seen, but seems fitting for this place. read more

My son and I share a birthday on the same day and we both happen to love burgers. We think Five Guys makes one of the best burgers around. We celebrated our birthdays with friends at Five Guys in Viera and sang the birthday song after dinner. This is a delayed review. I took my grown kids and our little grand niece to this place on Christmas Eve 2015 - it was my oldest son's suggestion. I'm glad I listened to him for a change... :) Seriously though, this is only the third time I've been to a Five Guys, but the first time at this particular location. The place is exceptionally clean, the service was spot on, and the food (as usual) will stuff you to the hilt. If you haven't had enough of your burger then you can gorge on fries all day long, if you like. This 5 Guys is in a great location with plenty of shopping around and some other activities for the family. There's a nearby park as well. The "guys" behind the counter are good at their job and there is plenty of space inside and some limited seating out the back door. The food is exactly what you expect from a 5 Guys if you've been to one before. If you've never been to one, here are some recommendations: (1) Order the junior burgers unless you're bringing a large appetite. They're plenty big at the smaller size. The jr comes with one patty and the regular one comes with 2 patty's. Huge! (2) The same goes with the fries. I usually go after after my son's football games and he's raging hungry. I have ordered the larger size for 3 people (2 adults and one 8-yr old) and we have struggled to finish that. I made the mistake of ordering a large by myself one time and it makes a meal by itself at that size. Since they throw the fries in the bag too, you'll have plenty of fries. (3) Look the menu over so you know your toppings before you order and step to the side while you do it. This place has a lot of returning customers and they do know what they want so be courteous. read more

I'm a big fan of Five Guys, in that I am a big guy, and I am a fan, however I'm less of a fan for this location. The food has been good 100% of the time, otherwise I'd rate this even lower. Frequently the servers are trying too hard to interact with you and it usually comes across offensive or just awkward. The one exception was my last visit, which was ok. The single worst defining quality about this location is the speed. Honestly, I'll pass up going here because it takes sooooo long for them to complete an order. It's taken up to 30 min to complete it before. I've yet to have one even regular serving time here (probably been 7 or 8 times in the last 3 years). read more

After driving around in circles in The Avenue maul because both google maps and Waze misallocated this store, and none of signs at the maul have Five Guys listed on them, I was told the store has no shake machine. Even worse I was told I could travel 30 minutes back in the same direction I came from to the store in Palm Bay that has a machine, or to go to Cold Stone! According to the help, this store has been here for 10 years, and the district manager hasn't put a shake machine here yet. What is he/she thinking (or he/she not thinking at all). Having moved from LA, I felt a horrible sense of loss over In n Out Burger. Then 5 guys opened here and everyone said it was the east coast equivalent of in n out. Well, not quite. I walk 5 hours a day to work ever since I ran over that possum and it got in my engine, and this was my reward one day. A burger that was probably made from that possum! My starving self waited in line forever, and then when I ordered and went to the drinks station, I was filling up my drink with a concoction of sodas and decided that after walking for five hours to and fro in the hot sun that day, I would add a little vodka I keep with me into the soda concoction for good measure. BIG mistake there. Some how, some way, the soda mixture started reacting to the vodka and bubbling everywhere. EVERYWHERE. It went on the floor, so I dumped the cup in the trash and ran to the counter to get some napkins. Unsurprisingly, the staff said there were no napkins there because "they all got stolen yesterday". Who the hell steals napkins when they rob a place? I know from experience, that you go for the medium value stuff first, take out the staff next, and then get the higher valued stuff. Anyways, so I went back to the soda crime scene and my vodka flask was still on the goddamn floor. I quickly picked up the flask and hid it away, but not in time for a young boy to yell at me "what is that thing?" I, humiliated, yelled back at him "none of your damn business!". Then a random customer says "no cursing at kids!" and everyone in the restaurant starts ganging up on me. I ran out, followed by a raging crowd, hot wired a Honda Odyssey with an honors student sticker that no one gives a crap about, and got the hell outta there.
