Placed a to go order with two medium drinks (32oz) and they tried to give us two bottles (16oz).

Just walked out of the store because when I walked in I was informed "that there would be a long wait since they had a big order". There's three employees in the store, two gentlemen sitting down eating freshly made sandwiches. As a 14+ year kitchen manager i can tell you that there should be nothing more important than a customer that walks in your store, online orders can wait. I highly recommend that the manager sit their employees down and explain to them that one of those employees could of stopped working on that online order and taken care of the physical customer in your store and let the other two work on the online order. If a person ordering online comes in and sees a store busy they'll understand, but a person walks into a restaurant and has to sit and wait in a empty restaurant for you to make orders for someone who isn't even there is ridiculou. Absolutely disgusting. I legit wasted 7.37. The place is dirty the worker is nasty. I get with the covid they keep the cups behind the counter. The worker never changed his dirty gloves. He touches the register, money, cups, everything with those nasty ass gloves. Then on top of it they didn't have any tuna ready so he had to make some and yuck!!! I didn't eat it and I feel sick. Wow, the reviews were correct. Not only is the service terrible, but the food could be better. I have loved Firehouse because of the quality and personalized touch. In the early 2000s, this was my go-to, but after walking into the Oviedo store, this is my never go-to or enemy. The staff was kind but super high and no attention to detail. I have read the reviews, and I thought it was just people being nasty, but nope, they are all true. My sandwich was cold, and there needed to be more discussion on how I would like my sandwich or even the attempt to upsell. The bread was hard, and the meat was 7-11 at its best quality. The worst thing is that you could barely see through the establishment because they have enough cooking equipment for a larger facility but have the equipment for one of their smaller stores without any ventilation. City Of Oviedo... We put great local businesses out of commission for signs, but what about horrible customer service and food quality? OVIEDO raises the bar on all levels. read more

Reading all of the horror stories after eating here for a couple of months was a little scary but then I realized that hasn't been my experience here at all. Everyone may be a little "in the zone" working but they're all generally pleasant to interact with. Food is great. Went tonight 10/22/18 at 8:30PM to get a cup of Chili, finally the weather got cool in Florida to warrant a cup Bad decision...waited 10 mins during that time the lady with long blonde hair who "Anna" called manager parents came in to talk - Her,parents came in and her mom asked her if she was HIGH on the job. We went to Firehouse subs at 7:30 tonight and all of the chairs were up on the tables. We asked if we could sit and they rudely told us that the dining area was closed- even though the restaurant was open until 9pm. They suggested we sit outside at Tijuana Flats tables. They assured us Tijuana Flats would not mind. We chose to leave and not order as a result. Our kids love Firehouse Subs but we will not be returning to this location. read more

I've visited twice in the last 2 week. The first time I went in and the staff told me the toaster wasn't working. I get it sometimes things break. 2 weeks later I show up about 45mins before closing and they tell the gentleman In front of me that they don't have pastrami. That they had to throw it away because it went bad. Then when I get up there they tell me the toaster doesn't work. This is after two weeks. I then noticed they had all the chairs put up so nobody would sit. Keep in mind they were still open for another 45 mins. The 3 guys working you could tell hated their job. And you can hear them complaining and swearing. There's also a girl with dark hair that works at the register, that will roll her eyes at you when you walk in. Not a great location. The service is always slow, despite being mostly empty. The food is alright, but it isn't fantastic. Overall, I think the experience could just be improved by working on the speed and quality of the service provided. Used to be really good. Now it takes minimum of 30 minutes to get food. Slower than Publix. Staff gets every order wrong. Don't listen when you order....I literally ordered plain turkey, staff said "ok, large club....". I mean al within 5 seconds. Won't go here anymore. Stay away. read more

What has happened to this store? It's been 6 months or so since our last visit, and decided to come in because my daughter loves the meatball sub and cherry limeade. Strike one- out of cherry limeade. After waiting about 10 minutes, looked around to see three other tables of annoyed-looking people waiting for food. Asked one party how long they'd been here and they said 25-30minutes. ("Worse than Publix"). Strike 2. Parties started getting their and food 10minutes or so later our first sub came out. Five minutes after that, sub number 2. Five minutes later, sub number 3. Kind of awkward. Subs tasted fine. Not a fan of the new Reuben, though. That's on me for ordering it. The tables were also really messy and there's a huge mess on the floor that has been here since we arrived. 30+ minutes. More than a few times, employees have walked right by it and left it. I'm extremely disappointed in this establishment for closing earlier than the advertised time specified on website as well as the storefront. I rushed to get to this location to get a sub and made it before the closing time specified from earlier. Unfortunately, they had locked the door and the employees had not shown any sort of indication that they would open at least since I made it before closing at 9pm. Just very disappointed at that, alongside of the fact that I tried calling twice to see if I could get information for store manager or even district manager for discussing with them my thoughts on what had occurred. They hung up on me twice, one time basically leaving the line open and not responding back. I can understand people wanting to leave work and get home but what's the point of advertising operating hours if you don't adhere to them. Really enjoy firehouse and it's a shame that they gave such a rough experience. This used to be our favorite place for sandwiches but this place has gone down in recent months. Employees aren't paying attention when taking the orders or when preparing food. On numerous occasions our food received is wrong and missing toppings. They remade sandwiches but now they were served to us cold instead of hot and still made incorrectly. Tables are dirty as well. We been hoping service would improve here but we are tired of being disappointed. I'd rather drive a little farther for better service. This is our last time coming here. read more

I've never felt the need to write a review before but the service today was unbelievable. We ordered a few sandwiches. Upon arriving home we realized two of them had basically no tuna on them, just a small smear on the upper half of the bread. The sandwiches were lettuce and provolone when we had asked for fully involved tuna. One of my family members took them back to ask for them to be done correctly, fully involved as we originally ordered. Upon arriving home again, we realized that they were simply tuna and cheese with nothing else that we asked for (shame on us for not checking to make sure they actually did their jobs, right?). Once again they were taken back and asked for a refund wherein we were told we couldn't get a refund for the whole order, only the ones that were wrong twice over. Upon walking out a comment was made by one of the workers in the most sarcastic manner to, "Have a nice day" with a massive snicker and a sneer. They also wouldn't give us their names.
