We had driven 40+ mins. from Port Orange to celebrate my daughter's b-day, per her request, and were happy to do so. Still, some nagging details...incorrect order, smaller portions of Schnitz and spatzele (except for the red cabbage), and higher prices left the experience to be less than desired. I know it's a tough industry to be sure..but having had better experiences in the past here, I was hoping it would match those times, instead of setting new less than thrilling standards.

I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

Your prices are written on the menu if they are not right, wipe the marker off and fix it! I ordered a small mushroom cheesesteak 8in.$12.50. I added a $1 tip which I hate doing because you're not serving me anything but it didn't give you the option not to. Do you want a receipt? No, I'm OK because you know I'm here all the time so I trust--- then she took the guy behind me. He said no no no I ordered a small you're charging me for a large, then I remember I paid $22. I immediately went back and said I also ordered the small. It's $12.50. Why was I charged $22? She said because I added mushrooms I chose the "mushroom cheesesteak"It literally says $12.50 for the 8 inch on the menu! Would you like your receipt? Absolutely! And the proof is in the pudding. The receipt says large cheesesteak $17.95 that isn't even the price on the menu it's $16.50. My problem with the actual place is if you're trusting it and you're not asking for your receipt, which is my fault. And they do this to 50% of the people a day that may not notice.... the building and employees could not be more suspect. Shame on you! Disputed and will not be returning! No, it wasn't rectified. Because the tall mean guy came over and said yeah that's how it is. Not my money!

Delicious! The Chopped Cheese was burger and cheese with onion. Both sandwiches came with lettuce and fresh tomato on top and a side of mayo. We shared the generous portion of fries. Not just any fries, either. They were thick like steak fries but cut in small wedges and thick spirals. Hot and delicious and really good with a little ketchup. Hot day so we dined inside. The pizza was definitely the star of the meal. It had a crispy bottom with a light, fluffy crust, giving it a really nice texture from the first bite to the last. One thing that stood out was the sprinkle of Parmesan cheese over the top. It's a simple touch, but it added another layer of flavor that made the pizza stand out from your typical pepperoni pizza. This was my first time trying the pepperoni bread, and it didn't disappoint. It had plenty of filling, great flavor, and paired really well with the pizza. It's something I'd order again without hesitation. The lemon pepper wings were another favorite. They had a crispy outside, were seasoned well, and the lemon pepper flavor came through without being overpowering. Overall, we were really happy with everything we ordered. The pizza, pepperoni bread, and wings all lived up to expectations. Next time, I'll probably branch out and try a few more items from the menu. It had been years since I'd visited Christo's and it did not disappoint…read more Our party of 4 arrived just before 6pm on a rainy Friday night and were seated right away. Our food came pretty fast and we both enjoyed large pizzas. My husband and I split a large pizza with chicken, spinach, and garlic. Wow it was amazing! Beware the pizza is pretty thin though so I wouldn't recommend splitting with more than 2 people. We were seated right next to the dessert case, which made it hard for us to say no. The brownie/strawberry cheesecake was amazing. The inside gives diner vibes and the outside offers nice seating when the weather is well. The menu is very large and we will be back to eat pizza and try something new.
