Option one was the Tikka Chicken Pizza (Tikka Sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes on a Naan crust topped with cilantro). This thing was a lot of fun! A nice, thin, crispy crust, and mozz. But accompanied by a delicious tikka sauce. A little freshness from the onions and the tomatoes, and you have a very nice pie here. Something like that pizza is something a kid would try, or a subdued palate adult would try, and act as a gateway dish that would get them deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is the best cuisine on the planet. I love it. I also had a curry, which was nice. Very flavorful. I was expecting a little bland, but no, lots of good spice and flavor. Accompanied with a proper amount of basmati rice. Yummy. And I accented the whole meal with a cheesey, garlicky naan. Which is probably universally accepted as the best bread on the planet. Love that naan. Wash it all down with a mango lassi, and this place knocked my socks off. I don't know what brought them here to Oviedo, but I sure am glad they came. I've been to CAVA about three more times and those issues stopped popping up. The pita chips are always crispy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. The ambiance has always been good with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It can be tricky to snag a good parking spot here since it's a busy plaza though. In terms of service, some of the staff could use more training in their customer service skills. They are very shy, soft-spoken, and standoffish. I've had to ask multiple workers to repeat their questions to me 2-3 times due to a volume issue with the staff. Regardless, I really enjoy going to CAVA and will be visiting this location again.
