The service was fast and the sandwich was great. I had the Cuban. All the customers seemed happy.

It is so hard to find a good sandwich place that can do more than cold subs. Look no further, this is a great place for a hot-pressed sandwich. I had the Technical Fowl and a Chocolate Thunder smoothie. If you like Turkey and craving a hot sandwich highly recommend the Technical Fowl. My husband enjoyed the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The cashier was very friendly and helped me on deciding to also get a Chocolate Thunder smoothie. I appreciate the consistency of the smoothie, not too thick but also not too watery. Definitely add to your foodie list.

This was my first time eating at slam dunk. It was a decent quick bite for a Cuban-like pressed sandwich. I ended up with a chain-restaurant sandwich that didn't necessarily feel like chain-joint food. I ordered a slam dunk sandwich which had plenty of meat and cheese and was headed well. I enjoyed the sandwich overall. It was counter service and I took it to go. Inside, there restaurant is very no-frills, and makes you very aware that it is a chain joint. Lots of plain white walls, etc. The environment left a a lot to be desired in a dining establishment - even a fast serve one. But again, the sandwich itself was enjoyable. I will likely go again, but definitely for to-go service.

We've gotten take out a couple times from here and it never disappoints. Out running errands today & decided to eat in. Just top-notch sandwiches! Every bite becomes my new favorite sandwich. Plus, locally owned & operated, supporting our neighbors! I ordered the sandwich of the week - the Cajun crunch wrap. I'm not usually a huge fan of wraps, but when it comes warm and nicely pressed, it really brought it home. The namesake Slam Dunk was delightful with just the right amount of heat. The Technical Fowl was excellent. The sandwiches are served pressed on a delightful Argentinian bread. Not sure you can go wrong here - and cannot wait to try the other offerings!

Slam Dunk is totally the right name for this place! We've gotten takeout a number of times from here but today we decided to stop by and eat lunch in the restaurant. Oh my gosh, so delicious! The bread is perfectly crispy and pressed making the inside ingredients delicious and gooey. Every sandwich was better than the next. I am so glad to have a locally owned and operated quality sandwich shop in my town! Definitely a must visit! This is a new family favorite! They are so friendly and came to check on us after delivering our food. The shop is cute and unassuming but has two large screen TVs, music playing, and a family vibe.

Great sandwiches and amazing service. Can't say enough good things about this place. I especially love that they have Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili chips as an option for the combo. The kids loved the tomato bisque and broccoli cheese soup.

We were planning to check out the mall before and didn't want to eat anything from the food court, so we were very glad to find a new restaurant to try. Overall, this restaurant was very good. The service was great and very intimate, and they were able to get our food out quickly. It has a small feel to it, where you order the food, sit down, and they bring it to you or you pick it up at the front. I had the Pick Two, which included a soup and sandwich. My soup was a tomato bisque, and it was outstanding. I finished it in a couple of minutes and definitely didn't want to save any for later. My sandwich was the Slam Dunk, and it was amazing as well. It was very flavorful and excellent. Overall, we would try this restaurant again and recommend it to anyone in the mood for a sandwich.

    Grilled cheese heaven!

We drove out of our way to try this sandwich shop since they were Foodie Award winners. We loved the basketball themed sandwiches and had a very hard time deciding since they all sounded so delicious! I ended up getting the grilled cheese and my daughter got the CHAD. Both sandwiches were generous in size and absolutely DELICIOUS! The homemade pressed bread was the perfect balance of crunch and chew. This place is worth visiting! The staff was very warm and friendly and the owner was on site assisting his team.

This sandwich shop is a hit with my family and friends. We love the CHAD- Chicken Hot and Delicious! It is a chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce, and pickles. The people who work there are always very helpful and provide excellent service! We always get the half combo- it is half a sandwich, fountain drink, and a bag of chips. We like Miss Lucy's Lime and Cracked Pepper chips. The Shocker is Turkey, ham, swiss cheese, and slam sauce, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of our warm raspberry dipping sauce

They do not carry a bunch of brand names, but more specialty items. If you are looking to make a nice meal, especially Italian, this is your stop. They also offer prepackaged items such as sauce, pasta, chips, etc., drinks, ready to heat meals, and fresh meats and prepared salads. We do not live close to them but we will always stop when in the area. When we do visit, it looks at through many people shop here for their weekly items, as they seem to know the employees but then there are some such as us, that come for that special item. If we lived closer, we would buy a lot of items here more frequently. The first time my wife and I stopped in, we ended up talking to one of the employees, who was so nice, gave us his recommendations, and even offered us a sample of the Cavallari Chicken Salad. Immediately sold! It was so good, we turned around and ordered the large tub. Their chicken salad is one of the best I have ever had. It is full of chicken, celery and onion. The other item my wife always has to pick up are their Italian cookies. They are from a local baker, and are so delicious. Look for them near the register. Overall I would highly recommend checking them out. We will visit every time we are in the area, but I would suggest trying them out. Get the chicken salad! Don't skip on it! ACES!

What a disappointment. I'm not sure what happened here…read more I get it. They were busy on Memorial Day Sunday. People are off. They are getting all their stuff together for their bbq. Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

Food here is extremely average and like someone else said it is quite stuffy in the restaurant…read more I ordered the soon dubu jjiagae wanting something hot and comforting but left unsatisfied. It came with a decent amount of tofu, some veg, and a few pieces of tough beef, but the broth was so lacking and tasted like salty water and chili flakes. I ended up adding soy sauce which rarely happens when I order a stew like this ,,, My bf ordered the lunch special which touted a large portion but he ordered extra rice correctly anticipating a small amount of meat, rice, and a few sides. The side dishes were fresh and delicious :) Overall I'd rather spend the same amount of money at a more flavorful restaurant since the prices are standard for other Korean restaurants

The food here is ok. I ordered the bulgogi, naengmyeon (cold noodles), and the beef and cabbage…read morestew. The bulgogi was unfortunately pretty dry. The naengmyeon was fine. It was nothing special, but it wasn't bad either. I think the radish in the naengmyeon tasted too sugary and the mustard had too much of a horse radish flavor. The beef and cabbage stew was probably the highlight for me. It was hearty and comforting, and it felt like the most satisfying dish out of the three. Service here is a little iffy. When we were ordering, my husband asked if the bulgogi came with rice and the waitress started at him coldly and said "sure..." in a pretty dry tone. It wasn't outright rude, but it wasn't warm either. On another occasion that we came, it was a busy night and we sat at our tables for 20 minutes before anyone even gave us water or menus. However, the waitress was very noticeably attentive and friendly to a family sitting next to us. The restaurant is near UCF, so maybe the staff has had bad experiences with younger people, but it's no reason to be differential in treating your customers. The inside of the restaurant is pretty simple and casual. It does not have great circulation, so expect your clothes to smell like food when you leave. Overall, the restaurant is decent, but not great. That said, there aren't a lot of other Korean restaurant options around the area, so if you're craving Korean food, this may be your best bet.
