I asked for a Firehouse House combo on wheat. Pause...employee asks "do you want a combo"? Umm, "yes, I do". Employee..."what type of bread"? Again, I reply, "wheat". Same exact conversation on my next order for a Hook & Ladder combo. My order total is $28.10. I pay, and am handed two drinks. I ask for a drink carrier. Get it. I'm handed two bags of chips for my two combos. Wait, then I'm handed one sub in a bag; no conversation; window closes. I wave employee back to my car through the drive through menu. I told him he handed me only one combo. He's stumped; says "huh"...stares at the screen; turns around to ask someone something; walks to another terminal; then he asks for my receipt. I explain again that I was handed only one sub. Employee finally says; "you have another sub coming; it's not ready yet". Seriously? I said, "You didn't say that you were bringing another, you just handed me one, closed the window and walked away". I also asked for a pickle with each side (two total). I received one pickle with one sub. I was very generously given a total of two napkins as well. Never did get my receipt back. $28.10 wasted on overpriced subs. I placed an order on September 26. I would normally place my order to be picked up in Enterprise because I' m in Enterprise. I live in Ozark when I placed my order I , wanted to pick up in ozark so I changed the location from Enterprise to Ozark. However when I called the ozark location she said they didn't have an order for me so I called Enterprise they didn't have an order for me either. But when I got home my card had been charged $10.70 for a meal I never got. I was told via email that the Enterprise location would be returning my payment. It's been 3 days haven't heard anything. How this transaction is resolved will determine whether or not I would recommend or return to Firehouse sub. read more

Firehouse Subs has become our go-to sub place. It's only been open for a year or so but we've been numerous times because of the great subs and the best service I've had at any fast food place. All the employees act like they're glad you came by and will recommend subs for you. After several trips we settled on Turkey Bacon Ranch for the wife and the New York Steamer for me. I'd never thought of "Hot" sub but all of Firehouse's subs have the meat portion heated in a fancy blast oven and I really like that little extra touch. I also like the dill spears served at no extra cost. Being a Farm Boy, I have to add that they sell their used 5 gallon pickle buckets for $3 bucks (if they have any) and the proceeds go to some sort of fireman's fund. Ozark, AL restaurant. There's a reason why it's only 1.5 stars! I would not recommend ordering online, because they don't read it completely. Ordered and paid for 2 large Italian subs, both were wrong and they forgot the sweet Italian dressing as well. Huge disappointment when we got home. So I go to the store (I am a regular customer) and I order a sub. I take it home. Half the meat is missing. I call the store and the person on the phone says bring it in. I bring it in. The owner / manager refuses to correct the situations and says in his prayers he will ask the Lord to take me tonight. What kind of religious person wishes death on his fellow human? First off, refuse to pay their employees for training and when an employee asks if they are getting paid they are told they no longer need them. Second, even after this we gave them a try. Food was subpar for what you pay, and they were out of some of the items we purchased through the app. When I asked the cashier about the missing items she got upset and began apologizing begging us not to tell the manager. I have eaten at a lot of Firehouse Sub chains, but this one is by FAR the best. I want to give special thanks to Justin. I was so angry that my food was messed up because I was in a hurry. However, Justin actually called me down with his quick jokes and bubbly spirit to the point that I actually ordered extra food. He needs a raise. And then he needs a raise for his raise.
