I was hit by a Lindy's Taxi cab in Montauk and dealing with their insurance company (American Transit) turned out to be a nightmare. The staff at Fireplace Auto were diligent in negotiating with the insurance company over several months to get the money I deserved so that they could repair the damages with little cost to me. The staff are friendly, honest, and fair and were a real pleasure to work with. They made my car (which had thousands of dollars worth of damages) look brand new again. Every interaction was so professional and friendly, we were updated via text every step of the way, the car was ready exactly when promised (Thanksgiving week, no less), and they did a great job. OH! And they totally handled the negotiations necessary to get the appropriate reimbursement from the other driver's insurer, sparing us what no doubt would've been a huge headache! I am a far-parking, car-washing, car-caring fanatic. They knew it, and the said that perfect was the goal, and they achieved it. It did take a few days longer than it would have at home but I had flexibility so it wasn't a problem for me.
