I've been going to Steve and Laurie for about 10 years, and I have never liked my mechanics before. They are a family-owned business that I know isn't screwing me over. They physically COME to my house to get my battery running then DRIVE it to the shop to fix it. They've done this at least three times and one other time, Steve, himself, came to my house to get my car-door open when I locked the keys out. What auto mechanic would ever do that for you? Cost for the repairs was $180 less than what Audi dealership would have charged me. I'm holding off on a 5th star until I use them one more time, just so I can have some history with them. I took my 2006 Mercedes to other places and was given the run-around and overly inflated price quotes. Steve made sure my car was worked on and returned VERY quickly, and the price was extremely reasonable. He went above and beyond for me, and from both talking to him and observing him with other clients he obviously does the same for everyone who goes to him. Extraordinary! There's no other word that better describes Steve's expertise, fairness, customer service, and character! Beyond being a great ambassador of customer service, Steve always has time for everyone, everyone's car whether new or old, and is always eager to help find the best part and/or the best solution at the least cost. I simply don't know how he juggles so many vehicles and so many people. I often wish I could organize an intervention and send Laurie and him off for a multi weeks vacation. Found this place on Yelp and chose it because of all of the 5 star reviews which it definitely deserves. Steve and Laurie were so helpful. I had bought my car a week before, know very little about auto repair, and was very wary of being taken advantage of. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to tell me very quickly what was wrong, ordered the part and had it ready for me by the next afternoon. Friendly honest competent. Steve is the best I trust him with my 97 Gr Cherokee and my 2008 BMW 335i. He will stand behind his work and attempt things that others wouldn't touch. For instance my drivers seat in the jeep turned into a rocking chair. I don't even think OEM replacement was an option. He took on welding it back together. 2 years and holding strong. read more

Steve has been my mechanic for 23 years, that's the longest relationship I have ever had with a man. I trust him implicitly. I have saved thousands of dollars. My father-in-law had a quote from a dealership to do work for $2,300. I pushed the car out of the dealership lot, called a tow to Steve. Steve fixed it in a flash for $800...amazing! Both Steve and his wonderful wife, Laurie, have bent over backwards more times than I can remember and there have been some crazy things that went awry with our family vehicles. I am sad to report that my experience today was so disturbing it left me in tears. I have been taking my car to Steve for 7 years and was previously happy with the work done. However, after numerous attempts to get information on the status of my car, misrepresentations about it being "almost finished", I was then informed that they still did not have the correct part. I was now without a vehicle for 2 days without any information on when it might be complete or how much the work might cost. When inquiring further I was informed that I "was not the only person in town who needs her car fixed and to get my f-cking car off her f-cking lot!" I ask to speak to Steve and she refused to allow me to speak to him. So I took a cab over to work it out - only to be further shocked by Steve's response. He was angry at me for coming to pick my car up when he had already ordered parts! He seemed to have no idea that she demanded I take my car and was not interested in knowing what had actually transpired in the front end of his business. I understand that things get busy during the summer, but the way I was treated is unacceptable under any conditions. I will never use this business again or recommend it any more. read more
