Imold is a very special company. We were on vacation in California when our neighbor reached out to…read moreinform us that our house was flooded with 1/2 inch of water. After booking tickets to come back a day early, filing the insurance claim, and reaching out to a handful of restoration companies, we were contacted immediately by someone at Imold. Within an hour or so of the flood discovery, we had an assessment appointment booked for the next business day. One other company reached out about 1 1/2 weeks later, and the rest never even got back to me. I was most impressed by the immediacy of the response, and only afterwards found out the identity of the agent that got back to me so quickly. It turned out it was the owner and CEO of the company, Adam Metauro. A day after we came back, Steve Richelson from Imold came out and did an assessment. Within an hour after we agreed to the company's services, a whole team came and started remediation right away. The company's prices were very reasonable, given the quick response, professionalism and diligence of the entire team. They understood the urgency of the situation. In addition to quickly, effectively and courteously fulfilling their mission, they went out of their way to dispose of a giant dresser, as well as my bedframe, even though neither were damaged in the flood and therefore went above and beyond the scope of work. The big bonus for me came when they agreed to my request to dispose of my 150-gallon saltwater aquarium tank, which must have weighed 300-400 pounds. They sent a whole team of 4 people to remove it, and because it still had a lot of wet sand in it, promised to bring more people the next day. I removed the sand that weekend and they were able to successfully remove it the next business day. I was overwhelmed with Imold's dedication to help out the customer, even if it was beyond the stated scope of work. Most companies typically either charge you for the extra service or offload the responsibility to another company, which would have incurred additional time and costs. When a CEO and owner gets involved in every day tasks, most often it is because of need rather than values. Imold is not a one or two person business, it is a medium-sized company, so a CEO or owner in a company that size clearly has enough people to fulfill all responsibilities. For him or her to get involved shows a much higher standard of company mission, customer service and values-based motivation. It was clear that Adam was involved with my account and situation from beginning to end. He was copied on nearly all the emails sent from the team, personally authorized a number of special requests, which included the aquarium (saving me hundreds of dollars), the aforementioned other heavy items, and flexibility on payment terms. Finally, Adam himself stepped up to the plate to fulfill yet another one of my requests, which was for expedited access to all the photos of the damage and remediation work, making an exception to the company protocol that all photos would be released upon project completion. Adam understood that I needed the photos earlier rather than later so as to move the insurance claim process along, so he not only authorized it, he ran the report himself and sent it to me the same day. It was an incredible feat, it made my day and I will be raving about it to my family and my personal and professional network for decades. A company that helps and supports you in a time of need is a very special company indeed. It was clear that Imold's ultimate company mission was to make life, for a customer already experiencing a difficult ordeal, better, easier and happier. Imold is clearly my Best Company for 2026 and a leading candidate for Best Company I have ever hired.

We contacted iMold, and from our first call through the entire remediation process, they were outstanding. The team was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable every step of the way. They kept us informed about everything that was being done, communicated clearly about scheduling and when they would be at our home, and thoroughly investigated the source of the problem. They not only identified where the moisture was coming from but also resolved the underlying issue. From the flooring demolition to the drying process and final resolution, their attention to detail and customer service were exceptional. Their commitment to delivering exceptional results is truly commendable, and I highly recommend them for any restoration needs. for elderly parents they were ready to return home a few months ago only to find a cleaning company that found mold and two hurricanes that had destroyed their home. This company came in and identified the root cause remediated and restored their home building it back to better than it was meeting. All of the Insurance needs to ensure that it's sealed and protected, but it came out beyond expectations of perfection. We never thought we would be to this point and have elderly parents that feel safe reassured, and now we'll have a home for the next several years to live out there life and a safe, wonderful home truly, the gratitude goes beyond what words can say and we just are thankful to God and ask them to continue to bless this team in this company you will be in good hands with this team!!! Let's get to the point. If you see them coming, think of them as a Hurricane RUN RUN RUN…read more After Hurricane Helene, FP was on the street signing up homes to perform cleanup and complete restoration. They signed me up and three of my neighbors. They quickly came in a removed (sort of) the flood residue on the floor and ripped out the sheetrock. As part of ripping out the sheetrock, they ran their saws over the walls with no consideration as to what was in the wall. As a result, they cut through three of my pocket doors. All they neeed to do was close the door and the door would be out of the way. The overall work was shoddy at best and was overbilled on the invoice. The invoice contained lots of stuff they did not perform. They promised complete restoration but never would come back to work. Everyday they would provdie a different contact name and a promised date to begin the restoration. It never happened. I thougth it was just me, but for all four jobs on the street, they simply stopped coming, ignored calls, and sent inflated invoices for the cleanup/tear out work. In the midst of a complete disaster and terrible time for homeowners, they simply ignored and walked away. Then sent the inflated bills to everyone. They say on a hurricane to flee the water...they shoud add to flee whever you see FP Property Restoraton approaching you. They do more emotional damage to you than the storm itself. Quite shocking they could treat people so poorly in their time of need. Seems I can end this review, because I could go on and on about how bad they are - but I have to stop somewhere. So like their workers and promises, I will simply disappear.
