Stayed there at the end of July 2020. The spaces in the campground were too tight. I don't enjoy walking out my door and 5' away is my neighbor's dump/sewer hook-up. There were tons of mosquitoes. My son-in-law made reservations for our 2 RVs and they put us in two different RV parks. When we mentioned we booked the spots together, they did not care and made no effort to accommodate even though they were not full. I just felt they could have sprayed for mosquitoes and considered making their customers happy and content. read more

My family and I stay here for a couple day. Yes we will be returning again. Thank you so much Dawn Heller for going above and beyond and helping us. Our quarters were very clean, and wow never seen bathrooms so clean in Wyoming. And thank you Dawn you are one of the better bartender. Good job. And who needs internet you are suppose to be camping. I had an all around great experience at the Buffalo Valley RV park which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen. I appreciated the cleanliness of their bathrooms, how friendly and accommodating the staff was as well as the fantastic location itself. I highly recommend this RV park for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Grand Teton National Park/Yellowstone. read more

Really frustrated with this property. It was not inexpensive and really didn't offer much in the way of amenities. But the really frustrating part was we got in after the office closed in the early evening and much to our dismay we found that the site we had been given only had 50 amp power. We have a 30 amp unit. We did not have an adapter. We were not told that this would be the case and when my husband explored, in the freezing cold and rain by the way, 33°, we found that every other site around us that was open was also 50. The map and paperwork for the unit we had been given showed every site was 30 and 50 amp. NOPE We would now have no heat, DID I MENTION IT WAS 33 degrees! There were a few 120 circuits nearby that we could've used, but they were all dead. We had no way to charge our phones and we were really freaking out. I tried calling the office and there was no after hours emergency number. Thankfully a very kind fellow RVer asked my husband if he could help with something and had an extra adapter. You need to tell people they will need an adapter if they are 30 amp site!!! Another frustration was the lack of dumpsters. There was not a single dumpster in the entire campground. The only one was up at the office which was quite a distance from the sites. We were told this is because they had to have a bear proof one and they cost $9000. Well that's unfortunate, but if you're going to have a campground in the middle of bear country you need to supply adequate dumpsters. People had taken to using a container that wasn't even a dumpster to put their garbage in and it was overflowing onto the road. How is this safe and doesn't attract bears? The showers and laundry room are clean and adequate. There is a store on site although we did not purchase anything there. The people were friendly that ran the office. All in all it was a place to stay but I cannot recommend it and will not stay again. read more

This place is taking advantage of people due to the current pandemic. The "manager" said they are running a business and have to charge the $25 cancellation fee. We tried to cancel due to the current Covid situation our nation is under. I understand they are open, however, not every state or county are! In addition to that some people are still out of work and unable to travel, maybe due to lack of funds. They have no human sympathy for clients or even their well being. Even if I was canceling because I was carrying the virus, she said well..... We definitely will not ever book with you again! And I hope that everyone that is charged the $25 posts a review to show how unfair this is. read more

This is not a place I would return to nor recommend. Site was uneven and full of rocks, bathrooms were nasty and only cleaned once during our 4 day stay, staff was unpleasant. The only good thing about this place was that it is close to Grand Teton National Park. Oh yes, expensive too. Not worth it. read more

Staying here right now for 2 nights. It is pricey but since there is a,restaurant, bar, laundry and showers, it's worth it to me. Showers are not fancy but clean enough and very private. Laundry room was fine except one machine took my money. Restroom inside laundry area are very private and comfortable. People here are all really friendly. I would say the only complaint I may have is the close proximity to your neighbor. Don't know why they insist on putting you right next to someone else when half the place is empty. Got a BLT from the restaurant that was yummy! I would stay here again. read more

The staff is nice enough but the campsite is only adequate, it is not resort quality as they advertise. The cost is about double what you would expect for this level of camping. They could at least drop the word "Resort" from the name. read more

We have been camping here for over 20 years when it was Grand Teton Park RV Resort. We watched it go down in quality each visit, but it is a perfect location, so we kept coming. It's been a couple of years since we've been here and the reviews really scared me, but we are pleasantly surprised. The junk yards are gone, the sites are nice, the electric is good. We made a reservation for 3 days with our fingers crossed, but upon check in decided to lengthen the stay to 6 days. I checked out the laundry and bathrooms which were nice. The staff was absolutely great. They extended our stay through the Labor Day weekend and moved things around so we could stay in the same site! Yes, it's kind of expensive at about $90 per night, but the CG in Jackson is $110 per night. You definitely pay for location any where around the parks. The ONLY reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 star is because the bushes need to be trimmed so you can see the Tetons and they don't have a fenced in dog park. I would definitely recommend this park for anyone who is looking for a home base for exploring the Tetons. It's probably not for someone looking for lots of activities for children at the CG. read more

This is not a RV park where we will return. Yellowstone YES! This campground NO WAY! They have a horrible mosquito problem and while the gal at the front desk will tell you that is the way it is around this area, I strongly disagree. It is because they have a "stream" that runs through the park... that doesn't really flow! It is a breeding ground! Not possible to sit outside of your trailer at all, no matter what time of day. Also, there is no trash cans for trash, except for a small (shorter than my knee height) can that is next to the bathroom. The only larger garbage area is up by the gas station so we would either need to walk 1/4 mile through the clouds of mosquitos, or drive it up. The mini mart attached is mediocre at best which doesn't even sell the simple things like pretzels or cold beer. (The sign outside says they do, but we couldn't find it!). The bar will sell a 6 pack of beer if you ask, but the minimart doesn't. Needless to say, this location will not be getting our money again. read more

I would give this place less than one star if I could, it is bad. The mosquito problem alone is enough to keep me from ever returning. The fact that they screwed up our reservation for 4 sites for 5 nights was infuriating. We had one of our party cancel but we got no money back even though they were able to sell the site again; then made another of our party move their trailer mid-stay because they had the reservation wrong. We moved the trailer and the previous site still sits empty. Grrr. There is only ONE dumpster which is light-years from our site, you get eaten alive by mosquitoes hiking to that one dumpster. The sites are in VERY POOR condition, weeds, rocks and a pathetic rickety picnic table (which doesn't matter because the mosquitoes are so bad you can't sit outside anyway). There is no excuse for an RV Park in one of the most heavily visited national parks in the country to be this awful. read more

Park is quiet but the wifi is seriously bad. And no tv over air or cable. If you need either of these, they are not here..

Very poor condition, if looking for view need to request outside location otherwise your view is back of other campers. Office is not marked - receptionist not very cordial and seemed unconcerned that we had to drive through adjacent camp ground to find the office. She advised that sign ordinance prevented adding office sign. We would have stayed one night however we were required to pay for 3 nights in advance $341 (way overpriced). Now understand reason for advance payment. Very bad mosquito problem which prevented us from doing anything outside. On positive side lots to see in both directions and very friendly people. read more

Great facility, am now on my second week here on a construction job nearby. Friendly group of people here very helpful and knowledgeable. Look forward to the excellent vistas and clear mountain air. Definitely the northern Rockies so don't forget the extra layers this time of year. Roads and most parking spots have been re-done so no complaints there. read more

Make sure you fill up on gas while you are in town because they price gouge you being the only one around. And the price they put up on the board is 84 not 87 octane. Also don't buy the bear spray there. It's over $20 cheaper in the park. We stayed for six nights and were supposed to stay one more but bad weather was moving in. I tried to get a refund giving them over 24 hours notice but was refused. Sites were nice though and bathroom kept clean. read more

I have to agree, this place is in great need of fixing up. Roads and sites in poor condition. Staff was friendly, but that doesn't excuse the condition of the place, for the price. Laundry room was shoddy and not clean. Would not go back. read more
