A simple "i'll be with you in a minute" would have gone a long way. We weee never given any rules, directions, check out times. The next time we went for breakfast. Although there was food in the serving trays, they made us wait for at least 15 minutes before we could go up for food. By the time we were able to eat, the place was packed. Saturday night we attended a wedding reception. Instead of using a tray, servers brought out 2 plates at a time. With almost 100 people there, our food was cold. The prime rib was very grizzly and tough. Even after requesting steak knives, it could barely be cut. The biggest disappointment and instant turnoff was the owner. When he was questioned about a situation, he became very loud, was pointing his finger in a guests face and was using profanity. The flatbread was huge and delicious, especially for the $12 it cost. The herb chicken pasta was served with a roll and my girlfriend couldn't eat it all. The restaurant definitely has a rustic feel to it, and almost feels like a mom and pop place. Overall, the food is great, priced well, and conveniently placed across the street from the visitor center. I will definitely be back.
