I just had the worst experience in my entire life 3 different times with Lisa and Trinity's garage repair service. I waited a week for someone to come out, he spent a few minutes and then left without me understanding what was going on. I called him back and he said he had a part at the office he needed and I would need to make a new appointment to get it taken care of. I spoke to Lisa who sounds polite but is of no help at all, she refused to let the guy come back and install it today and said minimum 4 days from now. This really needs to be done today for many reasons but at least Saturday and she wouldn't help. I called 3 other companies who couldn't repair it. I called her back and she wouldn't even schedule me an appointment...im willing to buy a whole new garage system to never deal with Lisa again. read more

Had an appointment set up for Friday and they never showed up. They have taken my credit card information and charged me! I even called on Friday to verify and make sure they were still coming when I noticed it was 2pm and they still hadn't showed up yet. I was told by a lady on the phone that they were in my area and would be by my home shortly. I got home around 5:30pm and still no one came by to fix my garage door. They instructed me to leave my garage door open since I wouldn't be home due to having to work that day and I did. So for them not showing up to my home to fix my garage caused my home to be unsecured for the whole day! That's is insane. Why would you lie to me and tell me that a technician would be by shortly and they never show up? Why would you set up and appointment and not call the customer to inform them if you can complete the job or come by to do the job? Why would you give me the run around? after I call several times to inquire about help and you refuse to help me! I even asked to speak to a manager and you all told me that all the managers were in a meeting! lol come on. What kind of shady business are you all running. Anyways pls make sure you refund me back the money you charged when you took my credit card information. The only reason I even tried to work with you all again and called this Monday morning was because you are the company that my builders claim installed my garage door so I figured why not use you! But I was wrong! Big mistake. The man I spoke to earlier did not tell me what was going on or why no one showed up to fix my garage door. He promised he would call me back in 10mins but never did. So after about 45mins I called back again and asked to speak to a manger and they told me all your managers were unavailable! This is a joke. How can you all treat paying customers so poorly! Your customer service is terrible. The way you all run your business is terrible. I refuse to continue to be mistreated .. I wish I had the number for corporate so I can let them know how things are .. this is unacceptable and very unprofessional! So my advice to all future customers is to please take your business and money else where! read more

The 4 star rating is because the 2 techs who came to my home within the last 60 days were both helpful and friendly. Especially Clint, who went above and beyond to see that our older gas fireplace was repaired. I have a low opinion of the management however, because they don't return calls. I finally got to speak to Matthew, and he was very abrupt. I also dislike having to pay upfront for repairs that may or may not happen. read more

Hired these people in August 2020 to come out and fix my fireplace. They are a licensed dealer for the brand of gas fireplace I had in my house and they did a great job and knew what they were doing. Luckily when the winter freeze came in February 2021 and we didn't have power for five days my gas stove worked and prevented us from freezing directly as a result of the good service provided by this company at that time. read more

They got the job and are shady and will leave you hanging. If you are building a home and see them doing the installation. Get with the builder to stop them from utilizing this horrible place. Too bad I can't select 0! Patio fireplace was supposed to be installed 3 weeks ago. Installer arrived and stated he couldn't install because it was a screened porch. We had the specs from the company saying our screen was allowed and the permit from the city. Over the next TWO weeks my contractor tried to get installation rescheduled, most calls were not returned. I called the sales person myself, leaving several messages with no return call. Two weeks after the initial installation scheduled, same installer shows up and asks where the log set is. He doesn't have it with him, so he leaves. Again can't get a hold of anyone. He returned the next week and is at the house less than 20 minutes as logs where just randomly "thrown in fireplace'. I positioned my logs later with the instructions left on my patio. read more

Absolutely horrible! Please NEVER consider using these people for garage door installation. My wife and I just finished building our new home and the garage door installation was BY FAR the biggest disappointment. The electric opener units installed on the ceiling look like they were just slapped up there as quickly as possible with absolutely no regard to making it look nice (see pictures). Also, there's about a 2 inch gap between the garage door and the frame. Apparently it wasn't easy, but our builder was finally able to convince them to come out and "fix the problem". They didn't fix it at all. All they did was crudely nail a piece of poorly cut trim onto our brand new house to cover the gap (see picture). I've never seen such poor craftsmanship in my life. We built a new home and moved in less than 2 years ago. Our builder uses Trinity Hearth & Home, so we went with them. Really wish we hadn't. Already we are having issues with the springs on one of the garage doors. When I called to have it looked at, I was told it was not covered under their warranty. I wish there was a negative rating. Horrible company. First off one of the sales guys Andrew should not even be in sales. He comes off with no customer service. Then had to call to get the manager who then gives me Randy. We get an appointment set up. Husband has to work virtually because it is a week day. They don't call before the day to confirm appt. I had to call to make sure were were still on the schedule. I was told I was and I would here from the tech at 8am the day of to let us know when he would be there. Day of appointment, I had to call three times before Vanessa told me that the tech called in sick. Got a phone call from Randy apologizing which was worthless and said we can reschedule or refund the money. I was like you already charged my card and the service has not been performed!!! He said company policy, I said you will refund me the money and be happy you are being sued and you need to change that policy. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! Do not know how they are in business. We had heard good things about this company but apparently management or ownership has changed. We ordered two custom cedar garage doors..very expensive but nice product. However, we cannot get the installation crew to finish what they started. First door was installed in July, opener still does not work properly 2 months later. Took FOREVER to get them out to install second door. They showed up at 5:15 pm and hung it but did not complete the job. Have shown up a couple of times since but never finish. Still no opener and does not lock. They keep setting appointments and then cancelling. Looks like we may have to pay another company to come finish the job. Nice people but no follow up what so ever. If you buy something from them and it does not work it is your problem. They will not service it...they will not come check it...nothing. If you have any other options even if it is an online store you will most likely have better service. Let me be clear once you leave the store even if you are working through a builder they will not service the product they sold you. The fireplace has never worked and we have been waiting 6 months for service. They only give us excuses and fail to follow up. They appear to be nothing more than a "middle man" that sells products for other companies and have no ability to do anything once a product is installed. So as mentioned buy online as that is all they are doing. We paid an additional 25% because the fireplace is our center piece and we were dumb enough to think "buy from a local store" in case there are issues. Welp...here we are. read more

Run away fast. These people are incompetent, inconsiderate jerks who don't communicate with their customers or with each other. I filled out a 'contact us' form on line for fireplace service. After 2 days without a response I called and made an appointment. Four days later I got a phone call to set up an appointment, and a few days later another one: no internal communication. I was told when I made the appointment that someone would call that morning to give me a window. That's not optimal, but I accepted that. By 10:30 the day of the appointment no one called, so I called the company and got an attitude from the woman who answered the phone--but it took three tries just to get to her. The first woman who answered heard me say, "Yes, I'm calling about an appointment I had today," said, "Hold please," and connected me to the voicemail of someone in sales. No listening skills. The next call went straight to voicemail, and the 3rd call finally produced the woman who thought *I* had the problem because I was annoyed by their communication failure. Her first story was that technicians call 30 minutes before they think they'll arrive, and I said, "That's not what I was told when I made the appointment. It's also not acceptable. I don't have all day to stay pinned down at my house waiting for someone to decide randomly that they're 30 minutes out." Maybe she does. Maybe she has people and staff working for her that allow her to sit around her place all day waiting for service people, so she can't empathize with people who work for a living. Her second story was that yes, they are supposed to call first. When she changed her story to "they're supposed to call in the morning," and when I said "that's not what you said a minute ago," she accused me of "mincing words." Newsflash: It's not "mincing words" when you assign specific meanings to them. It's using language correctly. Calling 30 minutes prior to arrival and calling first thing in the morning to provide a window aren't the same thing. When she started talking over me with her attitude problem I hung up. Fabulous customer service skills, and way to defuse the irritated customer. Two hours later the doorbell rang, and when I ignored it someone from the office called to say that the technician was there. Tough, I said. He was supposed to call this morning. This guy claimed that the technician told him he called "several times" and I said, "That's a big fat lie. No one called or texted all day. I've got a phone that actually records incoming calls and messages, even if people don't leave a voicemail, and I had to call the office two hours ago because no one contacted me all day." Well, did I want to let him in? No, I didn't, and I wouldn't do business with a company with so little consideration for its customers' time. Five minutes after that guy hung up on me someone else from the office called, for some reason, and I went over the problem with him. He at least apologized and said that yes, the technicians are supposed to call in the morning with a window, and that he'd "take that to the VP who handles them." He also offered a referral to another company, but I'd put my eye out with a fork before I used someone recommended by Trinity. From the very first contact they made it crystal clear that they neither want nor deserve to remain in business because they treat potential clients like crap. There are way too many other companies out there that can answer phones, communicate internally, and respect the busy schedules of other people. read more
