This place is the WORST. They strung us along for two and a half days saying each time we called that it would "be ready shortly" just to never fix the car! I brought my car in on Sunday, and now it's Tuesday evening. Firestone has already taken up two full days of my vacation with almost no communication or urgency. Every time I called, I was told they would know something "shortly." I finally went in myself to see what was happening, and there was only one mechanic working while four cars sat in the bays-- and he was literally sitting on his butt looking at his phone. No wonder it's taking forever!! If you are in ANY kind of hurry, DO NOT take your car here. They told me yesterday it would be done end of day, and today also that it would be done end of day and I have absolutely no faith in that. UPDATE: They never even figured out what was wrong with it and told me they were tinkering on it but not equipped to figure it out and have it taken to the Infiniti dealership. I will say Benjamin on the phone was very kind and professional, and I appreciated that. Other than him, though, I'm extremely disappointed with the service. Jason was totally rude and laughed in my grandfathers face when he got upset when they charged us $688 and left us with a car that still wouldn't start. Papa asked if he could speak to a manager, and he said that he could find him at the high rise in Nashville. What a sorry loser. Shame on you, Firestone. And shame on you, Jason!! DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! Ended up having to get it towed from Firestone to the Infinity dealership. Don't waste your time here. read more

Had my car 12 hrs, didn't check it, lied that it was fine - gambling my SAFETY, I still had to pay, and I paid for them just to mess with my Bluetooth stereo system like a free shop boombox. I was not rude at all. Never wrote a bad review EVER - never about a car shop either. I know it's a TOUGH JOB. Im mad because the front guy and the mechanic LIED to my face a lot, didn't do an inspection, and messed with my STEREO??? Most of those good reviews are either easy or about Liz or Bryan. Either those people don't work there anymore or they weren't there today. I dropped my car off at 7:30am. Called ahead to make sure they had availability. Said I needed them to look at my belt bearings. I told them why and what was going on - my belt was fine. I said theres a pretty bad oil leak but I needed them to take the belt off and focus on the bearings. I said i topped off all my fluids and oil before so I knew that wasn't causing the noise. I sprayed water to make sure it wasn't air- no bad seals or bad tubes. I said please drive it for a couple minutes and youll hear a loud ringing constant noise in drive and in park - not in reverse. Like a door or store alarm and not a squeaking noise. They never updated me - I called at 1 and they said they were just about to inspect it. Called at 5:30 (they close at 7) and the front guy went to the mechanic every time before answering my questions. He said belt was fine so its fine. I said what about the bearings? He said there are no bearings under the pulley.... I said the idler bearing is definitely one and spin pulley bearings? He said the guy did do an inspect, he did drive my car, and he did take off my belt and look at the bearings. I get there and talk to the mechanic while my car is still up - I show a recording of the noise. Bro shows the leaks and says my belt is fine so my car is fine. He said he DIDN'T take off the belt, he said he drove it and didnt hear a noise and then changed up and said he just had it running. This wouldnt cause the noise. I know he didn't drive it other than getting it in the shop. He said he DIDN'T know what bad bearings looked like, and then was honest and said he DIDN'T inspect it and I still had to pay. I asked at 6:30 if I could drive it for a couple minutes to get the noise and he said come back another day because he was busy. If you want me to come back then wouldn't you want to know how to get the problem to show? There were two cars that weren't going anywhere and two other mechanics doing nothing but cleaning up and a front guy there to help close up shop. So what did he do? Messed with my STEREO settings. Why would he do that if the problem is not about that? My car has an amp and sub. He would've had to manually connect via Bluetooth for it to make any noise at all. So I paid them $9 to keep my car all day and use my new sub system, new radio, and new speakers as a loud boombox for the shop and MESS with my settings. It would be cool if they were either honest with me about not doing anything or if they tried to look at my car but they didn't and they LIED TO MY FACE multiple times about it. To say that the wheels under the pulley are fine without even looking at them? If this is the issue, and i ruled out as many other problems as possible, it could cause my belt to fly and damage anything around it - this has happened, engine failure, brake failure, alternator failure, wheel detachment, complete control failure WHILE IM DRIVING. Even if only some of those scenarios happen theyre still extremely bad. I drove 6 minutes to my house after and the noise started up before I got home... I stopped by to price break pads. The guy tells me I need pad, rotors and calipers. I have no leaks and no grinding. They quote me something over $1200. I take it to two more shops and both tell me my rotors and calipers are perfect. Buyer beware. read more

I can't speak to repairs, but tires & oil has been solid in my exp. ** I want to shout out EVAN ** Post oil change, I mentioned to Evan that my car hasn't been blowing out hot air, and in the winter months it's been rough. Without hesitation, Evan popped my hood, took a look at a few things, and came back to fill my car with coolant, complimentary. I came in for a simple oil change on my Fleet Vehicle - Ford Transit Cargo Van. The man who checked me in, went out to check my vehicle and when he returned he explained I needed three new tires. He advised he would have to submit the request electronically to Donlen. An hour later, I had to go back in to check on the status of the approval. No response. I ended up being proactive and calling Donlen, getting the 3 tire replacement service approved. Another 45 minutes pass, I go back inside to check again and he checks and says it's been approved. I explain to him I am aware of this because I had it approved 45 minutes ago. He gives me a blank stare... 20 minutes later they come to get my vehicle and say it will be about 2 hours. Several hours later I receive a phone call from Firestone. The gentleman does not introduce himself and doesn't acknowledge who I am just says, "Umm, this is Firestone...your car ready." Really? No "Hello Ms. ... this is (insert name) from Firestone"? I return to pick up my vehicle, a lady is working the front desk. She was extremely kind but she had no idea what service was done to my vehicle and just handed me my keys. Again she was very nice. I get in my vehicle and leave. As I'm driving, I noticed grease stains all over the steering wheel because the grease has transferred onto my fingers. I look to my left and the driver door also has greasy fingerprints - they are all on the handle and the gray armrest(which makes it stand out). When I exit the vehicle there are also greasy fingerprints all over the exterior of the door at the handle and on the upper door frame where you would push the door closed. It is obvious this was done several times and was intentional. All of which I have to clean - luckily the interior of the armrest was plastic and I had Microban cleaner and heavy duty paper towels in my vehicle and was able to clean it. I feel this was in retaliation for me holding the front desk person accountable for his lack of urgency with regard to my time. I have had this vehicle, and all of my prior company vehicles serviced at Firestones all around the country and I have never had anything less than an excellent experience before this service. Would give zero stars if possible. Made an appointment online at 10a for 3:30p oil change. I received an email stating I would get another confirmation email. By 3:15p I had not gotten the confirmation, but went ahead to see if they had scheduled me in. Upon arrival the man said he already had another 3:30p appointment so I didn't actually have one, but he could get me in and it would be done in an hour and a half. He also said he has never done an oil change that takes under an hour?!?!? I've been getting oil changes for over 30 years and have even done them myself. Been to many Jiffy Lube type places and it's usually 20 minutes maybe 30. These guys just don't want to work. Based off the other 1 star reviews I recommend you don't waste your time. I found the service team very helpful and courteous. As I was being helped by a service advisor I could overhear two other advisors dealing with customers and they patiently answered questions as well. They got my car in super-fast and fixed a lose hose that another repair shop told me over the phone I would have to order new parts without even looking at it. I submitted an extensive and detailed complaint about the terrible service - two weeks ago. Because I have not received a response from the store or Firestone Co. I will keep it short and not waste my valuable time: I went to the store, scheduled an appointment three days in advance, and turned in my vehicle to have an alignment and oil change done. I returned to find out that they cannot help me because of the make of the vehicle. Firestone has been performing the same services on my vehicle for more than eight years in four different states. I walked to the back of the shop with the shop manager and looked at my old engine sitting on the ground and the replacement engine in my vehicle. This is absolutely insane. I no longer have a safe car to drive because of Firestone. I took it to get a simple oil change last year and I've been paying for it ever since. All the oil leaked out of my car and it died in the middle of a busy highway. They admitted fault, took my engine out and put another used engine in, didn't replace coolant properly and the check engine light came on. Now the check engine light is still on and they refuse to return the many calls I've placed over the last few weeks. If you value your car stay away from Firestone. I called on a Saturday morning with a unexpected issue and he kindly said I can come in so they can help me. When I arrived he was just as nice and courteous. As I was waiting for my car I watched and heard as he greeted customers and helped them feel welcomed. His customer service deserves a 10 STAR ! Honestly, ever since I started going to this location, the bald white guy who I'm guessing is the service manager never really seems to take me seriously and just always seems to give me an attitude. I made an appointment to have an oil change on my only day off last weekend and had called to confirm that I had the appointment and the dude on the phone just kind of sounded very condescending like "yeah of course you do" the day of the appointment and I got a call as I'm on my way there that my appointment is canceled and have to reschedule for today. So again I to confirm that I actually do have an appointment today and once again, guy on the phone gives me a smug attitude. so we go and drop the car off and I asked him if there is an estimate on how long until my car is ready and the guy tells me about an hour and a half so me and my partner decide to go across the street get some food and figure it'll be done by the time we're done. but still hadn't gotten a callback or anything so I call and they tell us it won't be ready until the end of the day so now my partner and I are sitting around annoyed that we just kind of wasted an entire day when we could've been back home, taking a nap or get stuff done around the house while waiting for this stupid oil change. DISHONEST, don't go here. I went in for a tire patch. Waited 90 minutes for them to look at it, then they said it was not repairable and would be $200+ for the cheapest tire. I asked why and they said a nail was in the sidewall. I told them I looked at the tire before bringing it in and didn't see a nail. Then they said actually, the tire was cupping, so it couldn't be fixed. Go to Ming's Auto on Buford Highway! I went to this location Oct. 19,2023 I made an appointment for the next day Oct. 20 at 9am. I brought my car in and left the keys with the tech. I returned to pick up my vehicle at 4:53 pm, practically 8 hours later. I was told "Oh we are about to pull your car in now". They had my car for 8 hours and when I returned they hadn't done a thing to my vehicle it was still sitting in the same place I left it. They are very unprofessional and do not take pride in their job or the company they represent. I will never take my vehicle to this location again. Tony Barbera is the manager in this location and apparently he isn't very good at his job or his techs wouldn't have the complete audacity to treat a customer like this. My 2004 Lexus LS430 has about 180K miles and it still runs like a charm...that is until I brought it to Firestone. Out of nowhere, my car would not start. This car has always started without any issues. I learned that it was likely my starter based on a little online research as to the symptoms. Instead of taking my car to the Lexus dealership, I figured that I would get my car towed locally to the Firestone near me. Firestone diagnosed the issue as being the starter. After Firestone replaced it (~$1300) with what looks to be a remanufactured starter based on the invoice receipt, I came to pick up my car. Instantly, my 13 year old noticed that the check engine light was on when I started the car. I talked to one of the Firestone personnel and she told me that it would go away after driving for a while. She said that it was on because the battery was disconnected for the repair. Well, the check engine light did go away, but it came back pretty quickly. I was at a stop light and all of the sudden the car started vibrating violently like it was a 1964 vehicle and it felt as if it was going to shut off. The check engine light was on. So, I read the codes--ignition coil, etc. It seemed as if the car was misfiring big-time. The coolant gauge was going wild. This was not the same car prior to when it failed to start when the starter went out. I called Firestone and talked to the manager, Dave, and he told me that I could bring the car in and they could run a diagnostic and it would cost me $100+. Are you kidding me? My car did NOT have a check engine light on nor any of these misfiring issues prior to the starter going out. I drive my car every day, and my son can attest to how smooth the car normally drives and that it never had a check engine light on prior to the repair. After some back and forth, Dave agreed that I could bring my car in without an added diagnostic fee so that they could see what was going on. Now, I have misfiring issues that Firestone definitely caused without a doubt as they didn't exist prior to the repair. Today, the car overheated after driving it for 2 miles with smoke coming out from under the hood. This car has never overheated in all my years of owning it. This is not a coincidence. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE FOR MAJOR REPAIRS!!! read more

I'm currently standing outside of their building and they are closed and I have no way to get my car and get home tonight or get to work in the morning. I was finally able to locate the store manager Anthony Mccalla JR through linkedin and send him a message and he called me. The only thing he was able to offer me was to pay for my Uber ride in the morning. He couldn't get up out of his bed and out of his house and come down to the store and get me my car because it was too inconvenient for him. So because they messed up I'm the one that has to be inconvenienced. Avoid this place at all costs! This guy should be fired! I was told to "slap a spare on and drive down" as they apparently can't provide info without taking a look at the tire first. *blank stare* Aside from the obvious bullshit, I reiterated that I had to call a tow truck....informing the incompetent man on the other end of the line that I clearly wouldn't have called if I had any idea how to "slap a spare on"! Drove to the location the next morning to be told they were too busy with all bays full. The front desk rep stated they could get me in, but with a two hour wait! Why even offer to schedule appointments online? Hire better Firestone, and secure more competent employees who represent you.
