Went in for an oil change and let them talk me into having brakes done. Horrible brake job. They left a screw unbolted and ended up with a busted rim and tire. Costed me stress and two days lost from work. They did do a good job paying for the new tire and rim and offered a rental once the regional manager got involved. After all of that drama the brakes squeaked constantly. It was annoying and embarrassing. The regional manager had the brakes redone at a different location and the problem was resolved. Worst automotive experience I have ever had. I do give them credit for being attentive and professional when trying to rectify everything. read more

Quick emissions test on a Tuesday morning at 10 am no wait at all, in and out in 15 min, my car failed the emissions test and the guy kept trying to see if maybe he'd done something wrong...nope my car was just failing the test but I did appreciate him trying so my stars come from the customer service and the no wait time. FYI if your car fails they give you a form to get whatever your car failed for, fixed and you can go anywhere to get your car retested free of charge; within 30 days. read more

If you've ever read any of my reviews, which I don't know why you would, but that's just the way it goes, I am not a Jiffy Lube fan. They always seem to make my life more miserable than it needs to be, which makes me leery of any of their locations from the get-go. However, I wasn't here for an oil change or anything else like that, I just needed to get my yearly emissions test done to renew my plates. They weren't terribly busy, but their bays were full when I arrived. The staff member that greeted me had me pull up behind another vehicle, and completed the test fairly quickly. I was out of there within 15 minutes, even though it was lunch time, so it was nice that I could just get in and out quickly without much hassle. The price was $21, I believe which seems to be about the going rate, and as they just automatically upload it to the state, I was able to drive home and just renew my plates without any hassles. There was nothing extraordinarily great or remarkable about my stop here, but it did restore a bit of my faith in the Jiffy Lube brand. read more

I generally walk in to any quick lube center not expecting much. The techs are typically naive or new to the business so I wouldn't fault them for being ignorant or giving a bad recommendation. They're just changing oil or rotating tires so no need to expect them to be masters of the trade. But when an employee gives you grief over a service you requested and then proceeds to bad mouth you to other workers knowing your within earshot is where I'd draw the line. Get some employees who will do the work whether they think it's necessary or not, you're getting paid regardless so what does it matter if you agree or not. Or rather, just say "no sorry we can't do that". I understand getting good help is difficult lately but they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Strongly recommend going anywhere else, unless you just prefer to have people be rude to you. read more

There is so many things wrong with this location. First to start. There were 3 people working none of which could open i hood so i had to get out and show them. it's a chevy malibu... next, they couldn't find my oil filter. once again, had to get out and show them it's a top side filter and would require a 1-1/4in socket. which the representative proceeded to attempt to round off the filter housing. i had to take the oil filter out and got back into my vehicle. after that they "replaced" the oil filter and filled it with 5 qts of full synthetic oil. which was correct. asked me to turn the car on. i said i'll take a look at everything before i start this car. got out to see oil covers ing the engine bay and seeping out of the oil filter housing. at this point im livid so i grab the ratchet and take the filter back out and notice it hasn't been installed with a gasket. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. these guys are a joke. i was then instructed to come inside and pay and my total came out to 127.99. once again are you kidding me?? $130 for 5qts of oil and all these mess ups? i told him i would not be paying 127 because i practically did the oil change myself and he said well ill give you a 25% discount. boy was i heated. i paid the $97 and walked out. i will never be coming to a jiffy lube ever again. this is terrible. what if it was a 70 year old lady that didn't know what was going on and left after the gasket wasn't installed now running the car out of oil and blowing a head? i'm just happy it happened to me and not someone like that. read more

Came in for a quick oil change for my BMW before heading out of town for Thanksgiving road trip. Big mistake! When I got home I noticed a LOT of oil all over my driveway. Returned to store and was told they must have spilled some oil.... They attempted to clean and added additional oil but next morning my oil was 1 quart low. Had to postpone my travels and went to dealer. They found anunusual amount of oil all over the engine. Had to have cleaned and re-did oil change as they did not have confidence in work done by Jiffy. Cost me over $500 to have this corrected. This was reported to manager Brent Watson that day who told me he was not in the store that day and the technicians were "new, in training, not trained to work on certain vehicles including BMW".... A long list of excuses which are management problems which directly and financially impact the customers. I am still waiting for reimbursement after being told by Watson, the next level manager Nathaniel McDaniel and Regional Manager Inayah Jenkins that I was to receive check in "2 to 3 weeks". They are now refusing to return phone calls and emails. read more

I thought I would try out this location since it was so close to my apartment. I should have driven further to the Take 5 down the road. I will never come back to this location to get an oil change. Employees seem to lack any customer service/ social skills. Bare bones service, did the oil change and sent me on the way. Didn't check anything else (wiper fluid, air filter , air pressure..ect), didn't show me the dip stick with the new oil after. One of the employees asked if they vacuumed my car , they said no... looked at me and then started vacuuming the other car getting an oil change. Don't include those services on the recipient if your employees are just going skip them. If they were slammed I might understand, but with no one behind me , the lack of basic effort shows me that no one cares. read more

The two men there were very kind and helpful with what I needed. Only thing I would change is that they did not provide a quote before my oil change. I was so impressed today. I went to this jiffy lube location on a whim because I got my emissions testing done here and I though why not? The first guy to greet me was Johnny, opened my car door and welcomed me to Jiffy Lube. When he told me how much a standard oil change was I was umm sir I'm going to have to go get an oil change somewhere else lol. He said let me talk to the manager, the manager Scott came over and offered me $10 off! I said ok deal and they led me to the waiting room. While in the waiting room I decided to check to see if they had any yelp reviews and holy wow, I was like omg I need to get out of here lol Right as my anxiety started to kick in Scott came back and told me he found a leak in my oil pan EEEKKK! When I was hesitant the manager Scott said the he is going to take a look himself and went to verify what the oil change tech was looking at. He came back and confirmed it was an oil pan leak. I was like they are not working on my car lol but dang Scott seemed knowledgable about what the issue was and that all it was, was a piece of rubber that was wore out causing the leak and when he told me how much to fix it I was....."well I might give y'all a shot" He told me it would take an hour but I didn't have that kind of time then but I'm coming back to get it done next sat when I can spare an hour. Anywho I paid and went go retrieve my car and there was good ole Johnny there with the door open, car vacuumed and do you know what Johnny did, he lined up all my shoes in my car (ladies you know the five pairs of shoes you keep in the front seat when u have to change from heels to flats LOL -- I posted a pic) That was so funny to me but it was well appreciated. The verdict is still out on my oil pan, I will post an update when I get my oil leaked repaired, but so far I have no complaints. read more

They didn't know how to find the mileage on my car, and I watched THREE of them for 10 minutes try to figure out how to pop my hood. My experience at this location was top 5 some of THE WORST customer service I've ever had. The lady working( who I assume was the manager) was so rude. For absolutely no reason. From the moment I pulled up to the moment I left she had the worst attitude. To make matters worse they made me leave without even changing my oil because they claimed my hood was broken and could not be opened. So after leaving from that terrible experience I went to my dealership where they instructed me to pop my hood in which I did and it opened IMMEDIATELY. The biggest waste of my time and energy. This will be my preferred place when I need oil changes.They use Pennzoil products and I like how their synthetic oil is made from natural gas as opposed to using crude as a base. Once you arrive, You exit your vehicle and proceed to their waiting room, which is small, but adequate. There was no upsell from them and also performed a number of other safety checks. I bought the Jiffy Lube groupon and was very excited to have a clean car and a good oil change. That did NOT happen. I brought my car in and I sat down in the waiting room where they tell me they are worried about doing a tire rotation because of how old my car is. ( my car is older and I did live in Michigan so there is a little dry rot, I'll give them that). So I asked if I could the get a discounted price because the tire rotation made up a good portion of the price for the groupon. They said no, but that was able to bring another car in for that tire rotation. I told them that I couldn't do it today but he insisted that I could. I could not because I had to work so after that misunderstanding he said I could bring in another car another day. Okay fine. 30 minutes later they tell me that I still have a remaining balance after the groupon without even having a tire rotation done. Ha... I had to argue for a good few minutes to get that fee taken off. Then I head out to my car and Drive away because I am so angry at the rude service I received. I get home and noticed that they said that they had checked the lights in my car..which they did not because two were out and needed to be replaced. They also said on my receipt that they had cleaned all exterior windows...they did not. Needless to say I won't be returning to Jiffy Lube with my other car with or without a groupon. All the 1star reviews for this place are 100% true. I usually pay $28 to $32 for a basic oil change for a Ford Escape. I get here and I'm asked if this is my first time at this jiffy lube, I answer yes and I'm immediately told my oil change will start at $48 then after I tell this guy what I usually pay he says the best he can do is $37. #1: do I look like a guy who just bought a vehicle yesterday? Answer is no. I know the jiffy lube tactics and I don't fall for them. Incredible how these places have horrible reviews yet they do nothing to improve and gain more customers. read more

I've been to this location twice. The first time I went I had never had an oil change in the car that I was driving as I had recently purchased it. The lady at the counter told me that it was fine to use regular oil. I wouldn't have minded if it needed synthetic but was happy that it could use something cheaper. About a week later, I started noticing that when I was driving it felt a bit sluggish and that it would lose acceleration at times. I thought it was because it was a 10 year old car. I'm not a mechanic or even someone who knows where anything other than the battery is under my hood. Sorry, just not my forte. I go back yesterday and the really nice gentlemen told me that my car is recommended to have synthetic. I argued with him a bit as that's not what I was told last time. Then he showed me the recommendation on his computer and I pulled it up on an independent website on my phone. I asked if I could pay the cost of a regular oil change because I didn't know what kind of damage it had done to put regular in. He said he could only give $15 off but freely offered to call his district manager. The district manager was extremely nice, explained a good bit to me about my car, and comped the synthetic. He also said that recently there has been a lot of turnover at this location due to complaints and that the lady I'd worked with the previous time had been fired but that his new team is a lot better. After I got off the phone, everyone who worked there was like "I don't blame you for not wanting to pay the difference, that lady screwed up a bunch of work orders". They were extremely kind, showed me what they were doing because I had already lost a little trust, and now my car doesn't sound like a space shuttle launching off. Although it was an initially bad experience, the guy I worked with was extraordinarily kind, stayed calm even though I was upset, and made sure I was happy and trusted them by the time I left. I really appreciated it. It was a good example of how a business can have a customer service fail and recover from it. read more

I swing by to have my fluids refilled between oil changes and have my tires check to! His team of professional treat me with respect and are highly knowledgeable in facts about many different types of cars. Do NOT buy the Jiffy Lube groupon!! They are the only groupon that I've ever had to pay additional tax/fees for at check out. When you buy a groupon that's it, you paid have a nice day not at Jiffy Lube be wary as they do not indicate that they will charge you more on their site. When I called the corporate office mr manager in charge said he wasn't going to change the groupon web site and he could send an email to his boss about it... This is my second time to jiffy lube because my first visit was over a decade ago and my 74 vw bug got a 20$ oil change which resulted in a ceased engine the next day! I was stuck on the freeway 30 miles from my house on the way home from a graveyard shift at 2am! When I called them about it they said tough shit kid wasn't our fault. Seemed like chaos here. Guy asked me what type of oil to use for my car, whether it should be synthetic or high mileage, etc. Its an old Honda... one of the most common cars on the road. It felt like they didn't know what they were doing. Not to mention the staff broke a part on gentleman's car who came in before me because of a "special tool" needed. Girl before him just needed transmission fluid but they didn't have the "right tool" or something... instead of telling her, they kept trying to fix it and made her incredibly late for work. 30 min job turned into 2 hours. Probably best to just keep driving to somewhere a bit more qualified. I've never had luck with Jiffy lube. Never will be going back after this. That lobby was tense. read more

You are rolling the dice if you take your vehicle here. While friendly, the level of incompetence here is astounding. You are more likely to leave with your vehicle in worse shape, and to waste hours of your time doing it. I took my Touareg in here for front brake pad replacement as it was inconvenient for me to do it myself. This takes me about 40 minutes to do at home with jackstands and a jack, it should be a much quicker job with a lift and a pit. After sitting there for TWO AND A HALF HOURS I was told they couldn't do the job because they needed a special tool to replace the wear sensor. NO THEY DO NOT and anyone who has ever done a simple brake pad replacement would know they just clip in. I was so steamed I decided to leave. Got in the car and the brake pedal went to the floor. NO BRAKES AT ALL. That was just the start of this entire debacle. They even brought in a "brake specialist" who proceeded to waste another FOUR AND A HALF HOURS of my life doing a simple brake pad and sensor replacement I could have done myself in 40 minutes. THIS MORON TOOK THE ENTIRE CALIPER OFF THE CAR - anyone who has EVER done a brake pad replacement would know to remove the retaining pin, the retaining spring clip, pry the pads apart a little and wiggle them out - job half done. But no, this this "specialist". All told the car was in and out of the bay about 5 times and I was there from open to close and I STILL LEFT THERE WITH A SPONGY BRAKE PEDAL AND THE CHECK BRAKE LIGHTS ON!!!! Tomorrow I'm just going to re-do the job myself. Oh and it's not just me. There was a customer there almost as long for a simple transmission flush. IN SHORT - SEVERELY INCOMPETENT. I was greeted by smiling, pleasant, friendly employees who opened my car door for me and led me to the nice heated lobby. Amazing service. Failed my emissions at another location (not a Jiffy Lube) who wouldn't even explain what my codes meant. Came here on the way home frustrated and Vanessa was so helpful. Did what she could and told me that I should speak to the mechanic Trevor. Came back the next day and Trevor was so humble & helpful, they went over and beyond to help me understand what was going on and how to fix it. Charles broke everything down to me assured me that I was good & even vacuumed my car as a courtesy. After they worked on my car (it was an O2 censor) I passed my emissions!
