I came to this place to head a bulb for a headlight replaced. They quoted me 86$ total. Went to a place down the street and they installed it and all I did was pay for the price of the bulb. I took my daughter's car in on a Saturday morning to get 4-new tires and was greeted by a professional and friendly Assistant Store Manager--Alphonso Royals, Jr.--who helped guide me through the process of finding the best tires and the best deal for my situation. Great service and quick! Picked up a 4 inch screw thanks to 285/400 and immediately began losing air. Quickly googled and found this Goodyear location. Jahmel greeted us at the counter and was everything you want in a customer service. 5 stars! He quickly assessed my tire and noted it could likely be plugged (no new tire!). Jason, the service mechanic, quickly pulled my tire, plugged it, and I was driving out less than 45 minutes later. Had a flat tire and came to the closest tire shop. The older man with an accent was very helpful. They didn't have the tire I needed so they just put on my donut. Had a slow leak from a nail in a rear tire yesterday and my dad recommended going straight here to see Darwin, who ended up finding out it was actually a second nail causing the pressure to decrease. I settled in the waiting area with my book since I was a walk-in, but they took care of everything in less than 45 minutes and didn't charge me a thing. My daughter's car got a flat on the side of the highway in Sandy Springs while towing a U-haul from TX to Virginia to get to her new job out of college. I'm in Austin, TX so I couldn't help. AAA came and the person couldn't even figure out to get the spare out (if too tight, use a wrench, let out some air... something). He provided no other options said he couldn't help and then (without even talking to me again), just left my daughter on the side of the road! I was absolutely shocked. I called Mike at the local Sandy Springs Goodyear and he did some checking around. After about 10 minutes he called back and checked around and actually found someone (Mark) who could come to help her! Her tire had split in two. Mark brought it over to their shop. Mike then found an Assurance tire on sale for me, replaced it, and Mark helped bring it back. I was almost in tears of gratitude for going WAY out of his way to help. A LESSON IN HUMILITY.. So this an edited review. I'm including a blurred pic of original post. I'm rewriting this because I need to. A short recap is I had a blowout last nite and came in to buy a new tire. I'm in a pinch right now and was hoping for a discount as this is my third time within a year buying from them. We didn't come to any agreement and I left out huffing & puffing. I sat in my car for over 30 minutes calling other locations to find tire cheaper. I did find it at another location but tire wouldn't be in until tomorrow. If I wait until then I'll lose more money by not working today(rideshare). I knew going back in I'd have to eat crow. I swallowed my pride and went back in and was greeted by same gentlemen who presented me with paperwork with the discount I so desperately needed(and smiling like we were longtime buddy's)! I'm writing this review not only to say that in the end I'm a very happy & satisfied customer and that they really do care about customer loyalty, but also because we all need to drop our ego's, attitudes, and entitlement issues. Most importantly, they don't have to fix the same thing twice. They'll let you know what you can get away with & what are must haves if you're on a budget. Thorough, accommodating, down to earth & are truly the most knowledgeable, trustworthy (Keyword) pair of mechanics in Atlanta. My own Mother approves of them (which is a tough task within itself lol). TL;DR: 1 hour and 45 min wait for one tire to be changed with a scheduled appointment & expect an up-charge you may not need. They do an okay enough job that you could likely have done anywhere. I purchased a tire three days ago, online, and was given an appointment for three days later at a specific time. My car wasn't pulled into the bay to have the tire changed until an hour and a half after my appointment time started... And if you sit in the lobby long enough, you'll hear the guy in the lobby (Malakai) tell every single person that their alignment is off causing balding of one tire and that people should upgrade to include the service...doesn't seem like fair, customized approach to each customer but a blind way to try and up-charge each person...I was the only person not asked out of the 6 other people I observed come in and out, and I wonder if it's because I was the only one to have purchased my tire online...two of the people it was suggested to were here for an oil change...guess they have to pay for the complimentary Keurig coffee somehow but they could have at least some good creamer instead of the powder stuff... Anyway, out of different car shops I've been too, this one ranks higher in the "shady" list and I likely will not come back to this location. read more

VERY disappointed! I took my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I had JUST had it inspected the day before to decide if it needs any repairs. I received three calls from Malachi telling me that my car needed two arms w/ ball joints for my two front tires. He quoted me $3306.97. I declined, took my car home and had the mechanic come back to double check the ball joints. They are in perfect shape and there is no damage. I saw them with my own two eyes. He also showed me where they spilled oil all under my hood. If my car had not just been inspected, I would have fallen for it. BEWARE! Such an awful feeling that a business (who I trusted) would take advantage of customers like this. In reading the reviews, it is evident that I am not the first one that has had a bad experience. Took my car in after work around 6 on a Thursday. I blinked and my car was done. Took them only about 30 minutes which is the fastest oil change I've ever had at a Goodyear. This obviously is not the norm as confirmed by the front desk, but I was impressed. They did tell me that although not required, appointments are highly recommended. The service was good and there is water and a TV to watch while you wait. It is in a good location that includes plenty of things to do/eat while you wait on your car. Give this place a try if you are looking for good service from a reputable company. I found that the prices are comparable to local competitors as well. I will definitely be back to this location for my oil changes and other car service needs in the future! read more

Dangerous and Unethical Practices.Rear passenger tire was low. Dropped car off for tire repair. David called 15-20 min later to tell me the tire couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. I told him fine, put air in the tire and i'll bring it back on Monday (I have run flat tires). When I picked up my car i noticed the tire was substantially lower than it was when I dropped it off he said it's not holding air. But it was holding air before I dropped it off. So i took it to another tire place so I could validate what i was told at @Goodyear. When they took the tire off (I was standing right there) we both immediately noticed the tire had a rectangular cut on the side of the tire, on the inside!! I immediately called Goodyear and spoke to the store manager Michael. He said they didn't cut the tire and when I challenged that he hung up on me.I was ready to give them my business but I will NEVER go to this location again. read more

Try somewhere else. I got oil change, tires and alignment. Final bill had higher prices that I was verbally quoted. Had I not requested a detailed listing of the charges, I would have paid too much. The billing error was laughed off. I see it as a clear lack of integrity and something to be apologized for. Also by tire lugnut/stud was stripped? Really. This was another $75 unplanned for parts and labor. Hard to be certain if this is a real problem or a created one. The lack of integrity on the billing alone means I will not return. read more

Went here on a random Tuesday morning to get my car taken care of. Had to get a lot of stuff done. They were very friendly and accommodating. I came first thing in the morning when they opened and I think that's why I got in on their schedule because as the day progressed I got fairly busy. I will say that it's expensive here to get your tires and brakes etc. fixed and I did drop unfortunately, a lot of money because my car absolutely needed it as it is 14 years old but so far everything has been good. The gentlemen were friendly, there is a TV there. The only thing I would say is that they hadn't made the coffee yet and it 815 in the morning a lot of people need coffee then :( I was definitely on the struggle bus to stay awake. I'm obsessed with this place. Amazing service, kind guys who really took the time to walk me through things, and a great price. I couldn't be happier with these life savers. After being tossed around from place to place just to get my tires changed, I took a chance on this place right at opening to hopefully save some time and money. Boy did I make the right choice. I dropped off my car at opening and they were done in just under hour when they said it could take a while. They did it for half the price of the Subaru dealership and were way nicer than that assholes at that place. I will definitely be coming here for my oil changed and all services in the future. TL;DR: They charge too much for simple work and look for problems that don't exist, if you look like you don't know what you're doing. I have brought my car here twice. Once for an oil change and once for an estimate to figure out why the check engine light was on. I would like to start out by saying the customer service was really good and all the guys that work there are nice and attentive. However, if you look like you don't know what you're doing, like a young woman with a beater car, they will over charge and take advantage of your naivety. My oil change turned into a 700$ total fluids change (which probably was goood to have but unnecessary) and the check engine light estimate was going to be over 500$ what I was charged at my local dealership. This was one of those places where I wasn't sure if they were being straightforward or padding the bill with unneeded services. I had slow leak in my tire -- a screw about an inch up from the bottom of the tire. They swore it couldn't be patched and that I needed a new tire, that they stopped plugging tires. Anyone know if that is true. In a time versus money quandary aI agreed to have the tire replaced, but urned down and extra $80 for three years of protecting against screws and nails. But I did get the front tires aligned. By the time I left it added up to way more than I thought I was going to spend. read more

With so many tire place options in the area, it would be good if GoodYear thought about providing better customer service! I love this location! I have been here twice and both times they have helped me quickly and thoroughly. They even fixed patched my tire for no cost which was great! I know of another car place that does this but they don't have half the personality and great customer service that this Goodyear has. They just seem to care. Even listening to the employee speak to the other lady that was in the office after me. It was nice to know that they weren't taking advantage of a woman that came in just asking "to check everything and let me know what is wrong". LOL. He literally just came back and told her one thing that needed fixing and I can tell you it wasn't much. :-) As a single girl in the city, it's nice to know that I can take my car somewhere that they won't eat me alive. The tech there filled the tires and took great care and explaining exactly what my BMW could show me and how the status could be viewed. "Don't tell me, it's a flat tire." -- Singin' in the Rain (1952) I walked into my garage to a flat tire on a Saturday morning... so I called AAA. After waiting an entire day and they never showed up (bravo AAA) and my friends coming to whisk me away to an evening of surprise birthday shenanigans... I needed my tire fixed. I called this Goodyear - it was open the latest on a Saturday and located not far from my house - and spoke to a manager. He assured me it would be okay to SLOWLY drive the 1.5 miles to them on the flat to get it looked at. When I got there, they took my car right into the garage and got to work. They found a screw in my tire, but said it had not punctured it - so it was weird that it lost air. After a while longer, they found it had actually made it through the entire wall and ended up plugging it for me. Through out the process - which was longer than promised - they found a nail in a second tire. Turns out that it was just a nail head and was resting in the tread. Also, they tried to sell me a bunch of services for a brand new car. Overall, it was a good experience. I can't promise I will be back - I frequent another Goodyear (a Gemini) and they take excellent care of me AND my car is currently covered for all services for a while longer. I am happy to know that these guys are close, friendly, and do good work. Speed is not their strong suit. So don't come here if you are in a hurry. read more

Crooks! We took our rental car in to check a low tire (rental company told me to stop anywhere for repair.) This man, I believe the owner or manager. Said the tire was slashed in the sidewall and needed replaced. Told rental company they had to replace the pair of tires. Rental company said we could pay for the replacement tires but must be same brand, same size and then after we pay out of pocket we could talk to manager at return bout some possible reimbursement. I said no! The other Option was to put on spare and exchange rental car which we did, but on arrival we found out that the tire is NOT slashed, it had a tiny nail in it and could have easily been fixed. The manager/owner/ boss at this shop lied and was simply a crook trying to suck us and the rental company into buying 2 this instead of fixing a simple nail hole. This cost us over 3 hours of our vacation because he was a dishonest jerk! read more

Our experience at #2123 The week after new years, me and the wife decided to take our cars in and drop them off to get oil changes at Goodyear store #2123 and then walk over to our gym for a workout and walk back to the Goodyear to pick both cars up. Convenient right? We got there at 6:59AM, they opened at 7am. I started to look around for someone who is working and no one was to be found, at around 7:05am someone comes out from the back and starts to walk around and then heads over to the coffee maker to make some coffee. Mind you the doors are not even open at this points and the Coffee maker is 2 feet left of main doors that we are standing out of in the cold.. This guy walks back and forth from the Coffee maker at least 3 times and then decides to open the door for us, it is now 7:15am (atomic clock on my wrist), I am little peeved and the wife welllll let's just say very upset. So I walk in and tell the guy we are here to drop off the cars for a oil change and ask when will it be ready, he tells us that no one is even here till 8am and work may not start until 830am. I look at him and say are you kidding me, why are you even here an hour before anyone else? He didn't even answer and at this point the wife didn't even say and thing and turned around and walked right out the door and then I followed. The guy followed us both outside to the parking lot and yells to us, (What do you want me to do?), and I turn to him and say. Well you can schedule the tech's to be here the same time you are.
