Had a great experience at Firestone. I came in for a flat tire, but the team went above and beyond to help me out. They noticed another tire was close to blowing out and made sure I was aware of it before I got back on the road. They even rotated my tires beforehand in case I decided not to replace more than what I came in for, which I really appreciated because they didn't pressure me into anything. The store owner and Kenzie were both extremely helpful. They even arranged to pick up spare tires from another location so I could make it back to Houston the same day. Customer service like that is hard to find. They definitely put the "fire" in Firestone. Overall, a positive experience and I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area again. read more

I went to this location on the 23rd of December 2025 bto get an alignment (I bought the lifetime alignment service) and purchased 4 new tires. While I was in there a technician, Mario came in, and I heard him say "as soon as I saw it I took a picture" . Well, funny thing I drove up that morning and took a picture of my dash because I had an O2 code that was popping up, I took a picture and I cleared it. Mario said that my ABS Sensor was cut and that it needed replacement. Funny thing I was just under that car 3 days earlier, getting my brakes done and replacing the CV joints. Anyways, I got up and went outside while Mario proceeded to smirk at me while I was looking under the car. The ABS sensor that connects to the back of the wheel hub was CUT nice shiny wires were showing, and at no time did I have an ABS light on when I drove up, Mario did it when he was doing the alignment. He crossed his arms as he sat smugly in the chair and he said did you check your email. Never got one, anyways I then proceeded to ask for the manager but he was gone, would be back in 12 minutes. I then called the corporate office and my attorney, as this was dishonest and I wasnt going to pay for it. Then I called O'Reilly's to see if they had an ABS sensor, and they did, but a funny thing: it was just being taken to this Firestone as I spoke to the person at O'Reilly's. I did not pay for the part nor the labor. Mario is a very unprofessional tech and it was my right to call corporate. But it gets better... I asked to have a district manager call me, never happened, asked for an area manager to call me and that never happened and then today Mark calls, now we are almost 2 months later and someone calls me. Obviously,, it is pointless and I wont be calling him back because the incompetent people that work for him gave me rude service. So this lifetime alignment I paid for I will never use again, because it will end up costing me more in the long run. There are good and bad reviews for this place. Make sure you check your car before it gets taken it, take pictures, ask questions and to top it all off they didn't even give me a print out of my alignment but made sure to give me an estimate of some other work that needed to be done. I was hoping to get a refund for my lifetime alignment because I will never set foot in another Firestone and have shared my experience with multiple people and my attorney advised that they are dishonest and now they could purposely cause more damage to my car. Customer service and being a nice person is something that Mario needs to work on and realize that women do know what they are looking at and not be dismissed. The service manager said I didn't have to call my attorney or corporate that it was unnecessary I asked him did he see the cut part and he said no they took it off, however, he ignored me and I had to ask him if he would help me. Last year I would of said the Firestone location was a really good place to go but after reading other reviews and my own experience, I will say use caution. Now I will send a certified letter to corporate that someone will need to sign because getting a call almost 2 months later is poor business and the issue is not solved read more

I used to recommend them but I will no longer do so. I brought my car in because I had a slow leak on one of the front tires which I had bought from them. They could not find a reason for the leak. Since they were not busy, I also asked them for an oil change. Apparently their policy is to use synthetic oil on older vehicles and vehicles over a certain mileage, and they certainly never asked me or I would have said regular old oil. My oil change that I was expecting to cost $29.99 with a coupon I had was well over $100. They did discount it but it still was not anything close to what I expected to pay. I had asked them to look into why my tire sensor light was on, and they provided me a reason. I did not mind paying for that since I needed the information, but thought their price was a little high. $160 for the oil change and the diagnostic after they discounted the oil change. I also gave them permission for their free brake inspection. They took it upon themselves to quote me for $2200 in additional work for things I didn't ask them to check. They told me I urgently needed several services which I know for a fact I either have had done recently, or we can handle ourselves. I declined all of the extra work. When I asked them to give me the written estimate they did and I noticed that they also included several other services they had "recommended" and removed per my request but they never mentioned any of those items to me. It was almost like they were trying to pad things and make it look like customers are declining a lot more than they did. I no longer have to wonder why no one was there today. If they treat all their customers this way, it is no surprise. I don't know if Mike Axtell is still there or not, he always seemed like good people. After today I am not sure even he could convince me to trust them again. Shame on you! read more

I wish I could give 0/5 stars. I am beyond appalled at my service at Firestone college station. I came in for an oil change and they changed my oil and found a battery issue so also fixed the battery. As I was leaving the facility with my car and turned onto Texas Ave I immediately noticed a clicking noise. I turn back around and return within 5 minutes from the car pickup. They inspect the car and find a nail in the back left tire. I did not have this prior to dropping off my car today. I asked if they could fix this tire due to them damaging my property. Every technician, front desk worker all looked at me and said "well there's no way you could've gotten this in our facility. You must've picked it up on your drive home." I let them know I drove 1-2 miles max and there's no way as I heard this sound immediately. Nobody offered to fix this. Said there's nothing they could do. accepted no blame. Gave no apology. Nothing. I drove across the street to discount tire to get it fixed as I have tire insurance. Their corporate office has been emailed. read more

To test these clowns, I went in and told them I felt like my car was tilted while driving (I made it up just to test their ethics and see if I should ever go back). Without even testing or driving it, the guy handed me a $2,800 repair estimate! That same day, I took the car to another place, told them the same thing, and they ran tests for $60 (which I paid just as an experiment). They said the car was perfectly fine. If no stars was an option that is what I would rate this place. Horribly unprofessional and overpriced. I made a appointment online to get my oil changed, arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. Only for the employee, in front of the entire store to yell at me saying he would not service my car because the website is broken and lets you schedule past 4pm for oil changes. My appointment was at 6pm, and there was no way of me knowing. Feeling embarrassed I asked if there was anyway I could get serviced that day or if I could make an appointment for the next morning, the employee told me that the website error was my mistake and he would "only save me this time" as if I had any inclination to ever return to this store again. Needed a tire rotation so I went to this place. They said it would take an hour and that they would call me when it was done so I went to the coffee shop next door to wait. They never called me but I went back to the store to wait it out. After 2 and a half hours my car never left the parking spot I had left it in. The guy at the front desk (Mike) said they did the tire rotation and that it was on the house. After looking at all the settings in my car and the odometer, I am 100% sure they didn't touch my car and made me wait 3 hours for nothing. Do NOT waste your time here. read more

Took my car in one morning for an alignment. Checked in with Felipe who asked me if I was willing to drop it off, and I said yes. He explained that the work for the day was already piling up with five jobs ahead of mine and he only had one mechanic available. I appreciated the honesty. I got a call maybe two or three hours later saying my car was ready and I was impressed because at other locations it's pretty much an all-day affair to get my car back. I got there and sure enough it was ready! Nice! While checking out, I noticed Felipe being very patient with an elderly lady who looked upset. When they were done, I commended Felipe on his patience. He said he was offering her a $150 discount on an $800 repair and she was upset because she wanted the 5% discount promised her by Felipe's boss instead. I could understand Felipe's pain because his $150 discount was almost four times the savings over the 5% she was demanding! Keep fighting the good fight, Felipe! I appreciate you guys! read more

When I called this one not only where they open but he knew exactly what was wrong with the car after a few questions. My car wouldn't start this AM, on a Sunday! Admittedly, I called Firestone because no one else is open on Sunday. The man who answered the phone assured me that whatever the problem is that they can take care of it. David was the epitome of professional. I thought it was probably a dead battery and that's what it turned out to be. They checked it out, replaced the battery and had me going later in the day (I dropped off the car), even though they were clearly very busy. The cost was $200, which seems reasonable. Went in for an oil change, they tried to charge me $60+ for full synthetic when the computer clearly states which oil I've used with them the past 5 years (lower quality oil- $30 for an oil change). Probably thought I was a clueless girl. I also have lifetime alignment, so I asked them to do it and a tire rotation since my car pulls to the right. Got it back and noticed that they DID NOT rotate my tires (I have 1 tire that is different than the others, and it didn't move)... Car was still pulling but didn't want to leave my car there again because they take FOREVER. 3 months later, my tire is separated due to wrong alignment.... At 11am a man came in and told me that they didn't have the right oil filter for my car and would have to drive to a dealership and pick one up. If you like being treated like you're a nuisance, like you're presence there is truly bothering Mike, the manager...then this is the store for you. They replaced my battery Sunday. Monday I was still having trouble getting my car started. I had the audacity to take it up there and ask them to look at it. They claimed they found nothing wrong and Mike told me "if you don't believe us take it to the dealer!!!". Really nice! On Tuesday I took it to a different place and was told it was the starter. Luckily for me I had a warranty with Firestone for that very part. So I went back to Firestone on Wednesday and they took care of it. The major problem I have with this is Mike, who kept telling everyone who called and everyone in the store on Monday he had "11 different things going on" as he was blowing and going through the counter area, couldn't figure it out on Monday, rudely told me to take it somewhere else, which I did to the tune of $135. For something they couldn't figure out! So when I went to pick up my car just now I told mike "it's a real shame you couldn't figure this out on Monday when I brought it up here and you rudely told me to 'take it to the dealer!'. It cost me $135 for someone else to tell you how to do your job and but for the warranty I wouldn't have come back here". He said "well at least you didn't have to pay full price where you took it." So incredibly disappointing. After being a customer here for years (and referring friends there--BIG mistake), I learned last week that Firestone put the WRONG-SIZED TIRES onto my car a year and a half ago. They literally put on tires without checking to see what sizes tires should be on my car. Google 'what happens when you put wrong sized tires on a car' to see what happens when you do that. They said if I wanted to pay to fix the problem THEY CREATED, I was welcome to do so. 'You're right; we caused irrevocable damage to your car. I am so sorry.' Made a reservation for Wednesday at 7am because the guy told me on the previous Friday that he would be able to get me out in 2 hours if I go in the morning. Well, I arrived at 7am and didn't leave until 11am. Service was good, got what I needed one, it's just being at the nearby McDonald's for 2 hours and waiting at Firestone for another 2 hours was annoying. I went online and made an appointment for my oil change and they didn't look at my car until 50 minutes after the appointment time I signed up for. What's the point of an appointment if they don't stick to it? They definitely need to work on time management. Also, they tried seeking me something I didn't need. They have window wipers on sale and told me I needed a new pair... we just changed them ourselves. And finally they did tell me about an Allen Head Wrench in one of the tires and that it needed to be changed out. My husband is a mechanic and looked at it when he got home from work... it can be patched when they told me it couldn't. I don't like it when they try to take control over women because we don't know anything about cars. read more
