I visited the Firestone Complete Auto Care website and set a 3pm appointment for an alignment on a Sunday. I arrived at exactly 3pm. Both service writers were assisting customers. When one became available (can't recall his name) he immediately asked me how he could assist me. I told him I had an appointment. He pulled up the appointment info, took me keys, and had a technician out to the vehicle within 10 minutes - awesome. I sat in the waiting room which was well lit and clean. There was a tv in the corner displaying a car restoration series. Not sure if there was WiFi or not - I don't connect to public WiFi. You can see most of the shop from the waiting area so there's no question as to whether the vehicle is in the shop and being serviced. My Silverado was on the alignment rack pretty quickly. About 4pm, Brandon, the service technician, came into the waiting area to bring me out to the vehicle and show me the before/after specs on the screen of the alignment machine. He broke down what was done and what it all meant. He said he would do a final road test and get me out of there soon. Brandon was super professional in talking with me and also I could tell that he knew his stuff! I saw him drive the truck afterwards as well to verify the repair. I got back to the waiting room and about 15 minutes later the service writer had me at the counter to close out the ticket. The price was as-predicted with no surprises. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need (even on an old high-mileage pickup), and was courteous throughout. He supplied me with a printout of the alignment that Brandon had gone over with me in the shop. From arrival to departure I was there 3pm-4:20pm. Overall a great experience. They put new battery, replaced coil, and ecm module. $ 902.00 .never maid it home ,had to tow it again for another $200 , they said fussed popped. 21miles later,it burned to the ground on side of road. I only wanted my money back. Long story short they said it wasn't there fault. After investigating more it was one part they replaced and sold for $ 30 . I was charged for two parts and two separate labors. Trying to find lawyer . I wasn't burnt up in fire so having trouble. I will have my truck sitting in front yard for display. read more

Took car in due do to rear brake noise. Figured it was time to replace due to mileage on car. After 10 minutes management brought me the rock that was hung between brake and rotor They could have easily done a brake job but did not. I have been taking my vehicles to this location for over ten years. They do good work and are honest. They even recommend good place for transmission rebuild when I needed that done. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this location for an exhaust issue on my car (Infiniti G37 2009) It took them an entire day for them to tell me that they couldn't do anything just yet because their exhaust technician wasn't in that day, Cool I get it but at least give me a call and update me. The next day they called me and told me that they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car because it wouldn't stay on. So, they needed to replace the 6 spark plugs and 3 ignition Coils (Which can be done by anyone who has at least played with LEGOS as a child.) The total for it came up to 1,067 dollars. Insanity. On top of all of that they told me that it was running better and that they noticed it has some exhaust issues (WHICH I TOLD THEM FROM THE BEGINNING) and that they don't specialize it exhaust systems, and I should seek out help elsewhere. (Then why call yourselves Firestone Complete Autocare...?) To put the cheery on top of this they fucked up my bumper and didn't even bother to put it back on properly. Really disappointed. I typically use this location but after I was lied to about my repair it's no more for me. Took my car in because my lower radiator hose was leaking. Got a call that it wasn't my hose but the radiator. $1600 to repair. Called the dealer I bought the car from and took it to his mechanic. Just like I thought it was just the lower hose leaking. Leaving for a trip to see a good friend in GA, my car alerted me an issue with my tires. A great guy at a gas station checked my tires out & let me know I wasn't going to make it to GA on my tires. It was 7:30 AM on a Saturday (in Concord), so thanks to Yelp, I was able to find that Firestone was close by & was open. When I got there, there were about four people seated. I was hoping this wasn't an indication of how busy they were. I was immediately greeted by a nice associate, who took time with giving me the best options & didn't try to sell me on more expensive tires. We agreed on the best solution. This location is a horrible person and they are not professional. I am going to make a Youtube video about this issue. This will be posted on all review site i know. I replace a brake and rotor at 8591 CONCORD MILLS BLVD, CONCORD, NC in March 2023. We called the store 2 weeks after replacement and they acted like this was a normal occurrence. I was told to drive the car for 2 weeks to have the brake smooth out on the new rotor. We drove it for 2 weeks but the issue persisted. Now they are telling me to I will need to replace rotor. I took my car back 2 weeks ago and the manager told me that I had a rock between the rotor that eat out the rotors. I know that part as rotor has warranty and they are lying. Please do not deal with these crooks. I will use another auto repair business once they gets my vehicle square away. read more

This place is very overpriced. The quality of work is good but I got only got an oil change. With this being said an oil change took 2:30 hours when they said it would be done in 1 hour. If you plan on bringing your car here you might as well bring a lot of money and go to the mall. read more

Be warned and steer clear! They will try to upsell you on something ridiculous! Brought my car here for a state inspection, I was told my car failed because of a single wiper blade and that it would cost almost $50 to replace it. When I asked to see what was wrong with it, they employee took me to the car and initially couldn't find what was wrong with it. Eventually he showed me a very small section of the wiper blade where it was beginning split and said "Yeah this is the reason." I told him it was a bit ridiculous to fail the inspection for this reason and the employee responded that it was up to their discretion. I told him I would fix the issue myself and bring it back the next day. They were unhappy that this was my response to not wanting to get their service done so they continued to hold my car for another 20 minutes saying they had to "input the information into the system" despite already having a print out of the fail inspection. Wouldn't come back here for anything, if they tried to upsell me on a simple car inspection to sell me $50 wiper blades, they will definitely take advantage of you and try to rip you off for any other service. read more

My friend and I had driven to Charlotte to see a concert, and as soon as we got there Friday night, he car was acting up. :( So we took it in first thing Saturday morning. They squeezed her in their busy schedule, and looked to see what was wrong. They were very honest and upfront with her, about the damage to her brakes/tires/I don't know what else, as well as how much it'd cost. They didn't pressure her into buying or doing anything when she clearly wasn't comfortable with this, being 2 1/2 hours from home. She ended up driving back home before deciding she was just going to have to sell the car. I appreciate all the time they took on their busy day to help her. The inside area was nice. Lots of desks up front to assist clients. There was a waiting area and a restroom, both of which were nice and clean. read more

Don't go to this location! Use any of the other locations not this one! The receptionist dude came to work with an attitude. When I questioned the price, he looked as if he wanted to hit me. Handed the tech the paperwork and stormed out. Needless to say they left paint on my tires, 5 minutes up the road my tire light came on, and they did not replace all my caps. I took it to the Ballantyne location and they apologized for the mess and finished it up no charge. We have been going to Firestone for years, but we will NEVER go again. We purchased tires from them and were told that they would provide us with a lifetime of free tire rotations. My husband only received this deal because he told him that we would just get our tires from discount tire. It was notated on his account and very clear for everyone to see. Since receiving this deal, he was being told that his tires were being rotated like they were supposed to, but we realized that his tire tread was wearing way too quickly. So when my husband approached them about it, he was told that they have only rotated his tires once in the past 2 years. He explained that he could not understand why they had not done it when we had free fire rotations. They begin to explain that it was not possible for him to have this deal and that it was not located in the system. Upon going to a different Firestone, it was clearly identified that we did have that promotion and we printed it off for our records. The manger at the concord location called my husband a liar and said that they do not do those types of deals. My husband took all of this to corporate who never officially called us back. We were told that the regional manager was on vacation and that the University manger was filling in for him. He told my husband to bring the car up there and he would give us a good deal on new tires. He went up there and of course he was not there. He left a message for him to give us a call and of course, we heard nothing back. Firestone has caused us to have to buy all new tires in less than 2 years and completely treated us with disrespect. They did not follow through with what was promised AND in writing. The tire pressure light had come on in my car. Checked pressure, added air ( didn't need much), and figured all was well. Pressure light remained on - certainly not a good sign. Took the car to Firestone due to previous great service. They did not disappoint. Gave them a rundown on what was going on and I was given probable causes, service plan, and how long a wait. I already bought my tires online and had them shipped to my house. I had called around to a few different shops and these guys were the cheapest. I was out the door with taxes for around 90.00 ish for the installation. I also requested an inspection and felt I was in good hands. I have been here quite a few times for oil changes, tire rotations and car inspections. I have never had any issues with pressure sales and they are speedy! I went here the first time because of the location- it's in the same parking lot as Concord Mills, so you can walk over and kill some time in the mall as they work on your vehicle! It is also near restaurants and other shops. Clean waiting area, but I haven't spent too much time inside. Recommended if you don't want to sit and wait. Dave and his team really went out of their way A LOT to help me get my much-neglected car back together. I paid more than I wanted (who doesn't!) but they also saved me from doing some other expensive things that another company wanted me to do (and validated in writing and by showing it to me). Being new here, they are my first choice. While I prefer a local, independent mechanic, honestly I don't have the time for that as they are usually spread so thin. There are also a LOT of bays and the mechanics can work back and forth. Very efficient and also safe at night as your car will be brought in. I'll start with the good, the guy I was working with was friendly. I had an appointment, yet it still took an hour and 40 minutes to install 4 tires. This is a job that should take 45 min - 1 hour. The work around the shop was very casually paced as i watched through the windows. Of course there was an issue that doubled the price of the installation. The tires I ordered online arrived 2+ years old which I didn't notice until after they were installed, not their fault, but it was another area they could have added value and expertise to the process. Would not use them again. I left feeling all they were trying to do is build a higher bill. read more

Captain's log, Supplemental: The manager Tim contacted me after he heard my complaint and got down to the bottom of this... It was a simple miscommunication between his Tech, the Sales Guy and me. Basically, The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing and what was supposed to be a simple repair was misunderstood to be a BIG repair and it was relayed to me that way without the proper investigation by the sales guy. They are handling the situation and making it right, so I have changed my review from a 1 star to a 3 star, just because of the aggravation of it all, but with the forgiving understanding that people make mistakes and I won't roast them eternally for it. Thank you Tim and Firestone of Concord Mills. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! I'm not sure if they were just inept, if they are crooks, or just didn't care enough to take care of my vehicle either the 1st OR 2nd visit?!? Let me begin by taking some responsibility... my Father, (God rest his soul), told me to NEVER take my vehicle to one of these commercial, franchise places where they live to "up sell" the customer. He'd kick my butt and I deserve it... I KNEW Better... but back in February, the Concord Mills Firestone was running a special on Brakes and I knew I needed them before taking a long trip. They did the brake pads, and said I needed rotors, which was an expense I wasn't expecting on top of the brake job, but the van did have 150,000 miles on it & I still got out of there for what I thought was a fair price. In June, I started to notice when I apply the brakes, I get a slight vibration in the steering wheel and the brake pedal. I am in the midst of moving and getting my son ready for his Freshman year of College, so wasn't able to get it back in to them until July. I drop it off to the Concord Mills Firestone in the morning to have it looked at and the tech pulls up all the information from my visit in Feb and says they will look it over. When someone calls me back 2+ hours later, they tell me I need another brake job, new rotors and brake fluid (how did fluid make the car shake - LOL)... plus, I could use 2 new tires. I tell him they just replaced the rotors in February and he tells me that they didn't. When he looks up the original order paperwork, he says "Oh, we did do the rotors in Feb... but you will need new ones AGAIN!?!? They had a 12,000 mile warranty and you are at 13,000." Fun Fact: Duralast rotors, which is what the work order says they used, DO NOT have a mileage warranty - I live chatted with Autozone, which is the only place you can buy Duralast, and they are warrantied by years... either 2 or 3, depending on the model. So Firestone tells me I need new rotors every 13,000 miles!!! I'm sorry, but rotors last longer than 13,000 miles and I am not a brake-happy driver. He claims they can't be turned... I need a complete new set. I told him I wasn't having any of that work done and I picked up my van. I get all my tires from Discount Tire, so I swung by there to have them check my tires (I felt he might have been legit on the tire claim, I had driven a lot of miles), BUT my tire guy said I had probably another 10,000 on the fronts and 5,000 on the rears. THAT is why I go there for tires - he could have sold me tires but instead gave me an honest evaluation!! Now... I am not the kind to take time to write out bad reviews like this one... if I get bad service, I just won't return to a place and let it go, but I felt this was egregious enough that I needed to let others know what you are likely dealing with if you go to the Concord Mills Firestone!! Listen to my Father (God rest his soul again) better than I did... DO NOT GO HERE!! Side note: I did not tell Discount Tire or Autozone what happened at Firestone, so as to get an honest answer from them and NOT one that might make them look better than their competition. SHAME... On Nov 7,2017 I took my car to Firestone in Concord Mills to have them change two tires and the service man put both tires on backwards. I did not notices it right away until about two days later. So, I took the car back and spoke with the manager and he had it corrected but i don't think i will be using them again. Under new management. read more

I am here on business and my truck was pulling bad to the right so I took it here for an alignment and also to patch a tire with a nail in it. So the tire is patched and alignment is done, I get on the highway and if anything the pulling is worse. I call them up and talk to Kyle and he says it is probably tire cupping, so did they not check? Anyway I took it back to have them look at it and I am told the alignment is fine but my tires have a 2011 date on them and need to be replaced, again so did they not check? So I have them give me a quote and I left, so as I am getting on the highway I noticed that my hood was not closed and had to try and get over in heavy traffic so I could close my hood. The only bright side is that my hood did not actually fly open going down the highway. Unprofessional and a bit shady in my opinion, in the future my business will not go to any firestone tire center. read more
