These guys are awesome and honest. Came to this location on two separate occasions because my tires were going flat. The first tire had a nail in it, but they were able to fix it way before the estimated time frame I was given, they could of def got over on me and just said I needed a new tire all together. They were super fast and friendly! I had another tire that kept going flat and went in to have it looked at, once again, super fast and friendly service. They fixed my tire by replacing the valve all for free. And again, they could have totally told me the tire needed to be replaced, but they were honest and fixed it for me. My entire family has used this location for 15+ years. We have had nothing but the BEST service. I have recommended Discount Tire to many friends and work colleagues. A week or so ago I stopped by for a tire inspection as I noticed metal in one tire. No appt. They were busy. I left after an hr. No problem. Made an appt for the following Tuesday. Waited for hour and 35 minutes-estimate was one hr. I have had an entire set of tire put on and out the door in 45 min. The part that really bothered me is that we are going on a trip - I wanted to ensure metal was not in the others. I wanted a full tire inspection. I could see my vehicle. Only the front ones were checked (where I saw a heavy wire staple) and the technician said he checked all four when asked. I didn't argue. I just left. My hope is that a manager will work with the team to get them back to what they used to be. The intake person tried to talk me out of the inspection. He "checked" the tire in the parking lot. He never started my appt online with a check-in. It looks like I was a no show. It makes me wonder if they are doing this to show good numbers to corporate on good days when they are not behind rather than a 95 minute wait. Other customers were told not to make an appt., but given a 3 hour turnaround at arrival. A customer called and wanted something specific. The technicians workmate said talk them into something else. That's too much trouble. Yes, your customers are sitting there hearing everything. I have great service with my dealership and I have resisted their offer to meet Discount Tires pricing. However, I am going to rethink my loyalty to Discount Tire after the last two visits. read more

Bad experience at this location today. Getting ready to take a long drive and thought I would get the tires checked and rotated if needed before hitting the road. The guy that checked me in took a Quick Look in the parking lot and told me he did not see any issue with the tires, this was fine but he said so in a very condescending way like I was an idiot for even asking, I did not understand his attitude so asked how often tires should be rotated and he said every 5000 miles, I told him the tires had 23000 miles and had never been rotated (which is why I thought to have them checked), anyway, this could have blown up into an argument, and I probably should have asked to talk to the manger, but just left, I guess don't bring your car here for routine maintenance? read more

Had tires for my car replaced here. Brought in the new set of wheels which were 1" smaller than factory. Got the text notification that my tires were done and ready for pickup. Show up and they're not mounted. The salesman then lies and said it was another Honda fit that they mistakenly put them on. Another Honda fit with 14" wheels instead of 15" wheels. Mistakes happen. I came here to get a simple patch on my back passenger tire but it seems like they were only concerned with getting me to buy tires. The employee wanted me to pick out new tires "just in case" they couldn't patch the tire which sounds to me like you're not going to fix the tire to make a sale. He proceeded to test the rest of my tires and of course those need to be replaced too. I may have believed him if my tires weren't inspected 20 minutes prior to my arrival which is how I knew I needed a patch. I was able to schedule an appointment 2 days out based on mine and their availability and when I showed up for my appointment they was able to help me immediately! Our experience today was very disappointing, especially since we've been purchasing tires from Discount Tire for more years, for more vehicles, than I can count. First of all, no one at the store is able, or willing, to make appointments. They are directing people to make an appointment online, which I tried to do. The app won't recognize my account for some reason, but I was able to live chat with someone and was able to set up an appointment for 12:30 to get a nail out of my tire, which is why I always buy road hazard coverage. I was working today, but my wife works very close to the Concord Mills location so she said she would take her lunch and go. She arrived at 12:20 and checked in. At 1:37, which of course by this time, she was ALREADY late for going back to work, she finally asked and they told her she was next. At 2:05, she texted me to say they were done. I asked if anyone apologized or anything. She said no. So no one tried to make up for this ridiculous customer service with at least an apology...I mean, just say you don't have an appointment available instead of trying to jam as many people in the store as possible. Do you really think that will improve customers experience? There are more and more places to buy tires. The one thing that can set one company above the others is customer service. (previous experience) Long wait times. Unfriendly customer service after you purchase tires. I have pre-ordered tires and arrived to the store as instructed. I entered the store 8:20am, checked in and paperwork finished by 8:44am. I asked and was promised that my car will be completed by 9:50am as I needed to get to work by 10am. 9:55am, my car has not been taken inside yet. They talked me through that process. Then, when I arrived at the store, they told me the requirements for my car, but did not try to oversell me on anything. I bought tires from Discount Tire about a year ago. Had a screw in an area of the tire that couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced. I stopped at the Northlake Discount Tire and they said they would call me when they ordered one as the tires were hard to get now with the supply chain issues. I had moved and this was the store that was closer. Never heard back from them. I then called the Discount Tire in Concord where I bought them. Anthony answered the phone and was so helpful!! I'm not sure whether to feel bamboozled or nickle and dimed but it's one of them. $1250 tires - 22" on a pickup so expensive apparently. Wouldn't honor the holiday coupon - 'ended 12 hours ago'. Then the new ones wouldn't hold air - turned out my wheel was damaged - so ordered a new $500 replacement. A week later (no call, they had 'wrong number') I go back to get installed. $40 charge to keep my old wheel. My wheel. Some BS explanation. Anyway, 2nd set of tires here this year and the last. It was crowded when I arrived-- early afternoon on a week day-- but because of the appointment, my car was next in line. Friendly staff. After the initial inspection, I left thinking, of course, he's going to say it needs a new tire since I already agreed to buy one. Sure enough, it needed replaced lol. I've been to this location a few times now and have been well taken care of each time. The tech's are knowledgable and willing to spend the time to explain all available options. I arrived late for my appointment but they still got me in and out within an hour to install 4 new tires. I've been a long time customer at Discount Tire with their commendable service and free tire rotation/balancing for the life of the tires. We've move around quite a bit (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, North Carolina) and there has always been a DT close by. This location is great due to its proximity to Concord Mills. I have been coming to this location for 10-12 years. This place gets worse and worse and worse. Appointments are worthless, don't bother. Better off just waiting in line for 30 minutes just to be acknowledged then another 10-15 minutes to get checked in, all while answering phone calls instead of finishing with the customer in front of their face.
