I arrived at 9am on Father's Day to have a tire replaced so I could take my father to lunch. Now I'd just gotten out of the gym next door and was in jersey shorts and a t-shirt; not the most professional of attire. The elderly man at the counter informs me that they're very busy and all booked for the day but if I take a seat, he will schedule an appointment for me tomorrow. After 36 minutes waiting in the lobby and hearing this man have time to casually flirt with younger women customers and have a conversation with a white male customer around my age about how he used to work at a NAPA auto store, retired but then found retirement too boring so he came to Firestone, I left. Not even a farewell or apology. I don't think this elderly man's casual racism and classism is conscious but this is the year 2021. Be courteous and professional to EVERYONE regardless of their sex or the color of their skin or the fact that they just came from the gym next door. Or go back to retirement. read more

Set up an appointment Thursday for car service early Saturday. I arrive early Saturday at the scheduled tone. There is only one young lady at the counter and it looks like a complete and total fiasco. Completely ridiculous just to get to the counter which I didn't even get to took 36 minutes because they are choosing to communicate with a customer through another customer over the phone from Mexico.... I had an appointment. What is the priority? Do they even ask? This place is a joke depending on the day you go, they were even customers waiting to get their cars back from the previous day , because I guess the GM had been running late this morning too. In this case, I guess a leader ship did reflect the execution. Smh I stay away. Ruined my entire day in morning. read more

Dropped my car off at 9:30 was only trying to get it checked, had made an appointment a day before. After 6 hours of no update went back to get my keys didn't even bother to ask. 5 workers gathered in the main office while my car still sitting in the same spot ? Walked in at 530 pm as I noticed I needed an inspection and was going to go to the gym next door anyway. They are open until 7pm which was great! The inspection guy was about to leave but he squeezed my car in anyway. I went and worked out, came back, got my passing inspection and drove off. Super convienent and fast. Being on a road trip, things can go wrong. In our case the coolant was leaking, so we knew we had to do something quickly. We found this Firestone via Yelp, and I'm so glad we did. They took good care of us, even drove us to a restaurant, so we could kill some time over breakfast. read more

I came in for a simple emissions test. They told me it would be a 45 minute wait, and obviously an emissions test should take no longer than 20 minutes... Well, an hour and a half later I went to see if they were done yet.. NOPE, hadn't even started it yet! Mind you, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and uncomfortable as can be and they only have hot coffee in the lobby and now they're wasting my time! I was there a total of two hours, talk about ridiculous! On the phone they made it seem like they get emissions test done instantly and quickly, but that was hardly the case. It's unprofessional to give a false wait time and waste peoples time. Another customer had left furious after being there two hours and they didn't even do what she asked! Seems these people need to get their acts together. Will not return!! read more

Overcharging scam artists. I took my Jeep Liberty in to Firestone because they were the only shop local that I could find open past 7pm (the only pro to them). I had them change the oil, transmission fluid, etc which was a little more expensive than other places but I was ok with that. Then they wanted about $1000 to replace the rack and pinion steering, $300 to replace the power steering line (both of which parts were leaking) and $79.99 for a power steering fluid "transfer" and clean. Just to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off, I called around. Super 5 Auto on George Dieter quoted me less than half the price for the rack and pinion. When I told them I needed the fluid changed as well as the power steering line, and asked how much extra it would be, they said about $20-25. Yes, you read that right. They said that Firestone was trying to scam me because a) there was no additional labor involved for the power steering line replacement (only the cost of the part, about 20-25 dollars) since it was already taken apart while replacing the rack and pinion, and b) there was no need to pay extra for the fluid because that was included as they had to drain the fluid anyways to replace the rack and pinion. So the moral of the story is, I could have paid upwards of $1500 with tax at Firestone or just over $500 for the same work at Super 5 Auto. It's up to you. read more

This is the second Firestone that I have been to in order to get my squeaky brakes fixed. Just like the first Firestone, they called to tell me they found the problem and explained what I needed to have done to my car and when I went to pick the car up my brakes were still squeaking. It's like they didn't even drive the car more than 10 feet to see if they actually fixed the problem before they called and told me to come get my car. If they would spend more time trying to fix the actual issues that customers have with their vehicles instead of trying to find other things to suggest the customer needs to have fixed in order to make a few extra bucks then they would be a lot more successful. read more

I usually take my vehicles to this Firestone since they are close by. Well today I dropped off my truck at 7 in the MORNING! I had a flat tire and needed to see if it was repairable or not. Of course they said it's not repairable even though I checked the tire's sidewall before I took it (they said it was damaged beyond repair). They called but I didn't answer so I called them back around NOON and gave the go ahead to replace the tire. After not receiving a call I called around 6 in the EVENING! They told me what I already knew! And then ASKED ME IF THEY SHOULD THE JOB! I already told them to do it! 6 hours earlier! Then they ask if it's ok if they have it ready tomorrow. I was forced to leave it there unfortunately. I wonder how long it will take tomorrow...for ONE FLAT TIRE! read more
