I'm not exactly mad, just disappointed. I called at 7:45 am and asked if there was any availability for a same day oil change. I was told yes, noon would be a good time. I set the appointment for noon. I showed up on time. My car didn't get pulled into the garage until 1:45pm. When I asked for an explanation, I was told they work in order and do not double book because they are a smaller shop. That sounds like a good thing but that clearly isn't what happened. I asked if they have an estimated time for each service. They said yes. Again, this is a good thing if adhered to. So what's the point in scheduling an appointment? I was told an appointment is just to guarantee that you get seen that day. Poor customer care. They are clearly double booking appointment slots and booking multiple services in one appointment slot and working over the appointed time causing the whole day to be backed up. Time management and communication goes a long way in customer service. read more

Made an appointment for 11am for an oil change and tire rotation, didn't get my car back until 6:30pm. Called me at 4:30 saying they just took my car back and they couldn't find my lugnut key. They stated the glovebox, center console and trunk were checked... it was in my glove box the whole time. DO NOT bring your car here. I mean do NOT. I came in for an alignment because my car was steering to the right by itself. They originally "aligned" it and checked me out, I took it on the road and by no suprise due to other reviews, it was literally worse. I brought it back and they claimed it was straight. They took another go at it for an hour or so and brought me in the back to reveal the engine mounts are messed up. Technician claimed the car drifts to the right because my engine moves while driving but breaking news! When the car is in neutral, and no pressure is being pushed into the throttle, the car still drifts to the right, literally worse that I can make a right turn without holding the wheel. It's undriveable now. Technician claims that is how it came in too but I was watching and didn't touch the tie rods once on the second attempt. I've worked at a Porsche dealership for over two years and done allignments on several vehicles including my own, and I know this car like the palm of my hand. It's my baby. I know I did not bring in the car like that, but never fear!!! The manager was quick to give me a FAT quote on engine mounts which his technician just f*cked up on my well maintained car. The technicians are super shady, and the manager is just there to make money. He doesn't give AF about if you're happy or SAFE. Do not walk, RUN as far as possible from this dogsh*t repairs shop. Wish I could give it zero, way to take care of your customers. Wasted $120 read more

I showed up at an appointment for oil change and was informed that the vehicle won't be ready on the same day, which was fine for me ...But then she said she is not working on following day so I wouldn't know if vehicle was going to be ready the next day either as if it is no longer relevant to her.... I also have to point out the the manners how they answer the phone... Made an appointment on March 3rd on their site to get an oil change the next day. Time slot said it was available and that my appointment had been made. Show up on the 4th and waited for the two female representatives to finish their off topic conversation with each other before one of them addressed me. I was then informed that my appointment had been canceled and that about 5 days worth of appointments had been made since and I wouldn't be able to get in until at least March 8th. They didn't bother to call or text or email me at any point to tell me my appointment was canceled, so thanks for wasting my time and about a 1/4 tank of gas since I had to drive from Colorado Springs to Fort Carson to make what I thought would be my appointment. read more

Gunny has this place firing on all cylinders! The staff is friendly and helpful. They got my new tires on my Jeep, a coolant flush, an oil change, new wiper blades, and an alignment done in just a few hours. Really like the museum in the lobby, too. I'm definitely going back. I scheduled an appointment, at 1000, for them to look at why my door opens occasionally from the outside but always from the inside. I dropped off the car at 0945 and was called to get it around 1515. When I picked up the car I was charged $198 and they fixed NOTHING. They said they "looked" at the car and it is the door hinge that is the issue. They could not give me a price to get it fixed and I why was the cost so high? The answer I got IMPLIED to me that since there is no "inspection" price for the door handle that they had to charge me the FULL RATE OF REPLACING THE DOOR HANDLE when all they did was look at it. Bottom line is over five hours they had my car, when an appointment was scheduled, did NOT CHANGE OR FIX ANYTHING but yet still charged me full price for a door handle change. FYI.... They also broke off a piece of my interior while charging me AND the proof of the bill is my profile pic. So this is not a review with no merit but an honest review of what they charged and the fact that they did nothing to my car. I've been going to this same Firestone for about 4 years now, and never had too much of a problem, however, when I was told I'd be paying $65 for a service I had a $25 coupon for - or that I'd previously paid $40 for, with no explanation and rude staff - I made today my last day giving them my business. There are others in the area with far better customer service & much shorter wait times too! They take forever to work on cars. I brought my car in for a simple alignment at 8:30am and I had to call to remind them they still have my car. I've called 3 times and each time the said they'll get working on it right away but didn't. Now they're giving me a quote that they will either have it done by 4pm or just not work on it at all today cause they're busy working on stuff from the previous day. Not helpful at all. I made an appointment for an oil change at 4:00 pm, first time at Firestone. They took my car in around 4:30. I made an excuse for them to justify why they are late. This was the first time. The second time, I made an appointment earlier morning for my second car. I was told to come back 1-1:30 hour later or wait. I guess commitment does not mean anything to them (Firestone) unless your are their race. I am glad I did not take their recommendation(s) to fix my car that they suggested. Long wait with appointment. I had an appointment at Firestone today on Fort Carson @ 11:00am. I was out of there by 11:48am. Customer service was good. The young lady at the counter was very nice and knowledgeable, but I didn't expect to be there for almost a full hour just for an oil change. Nothing additional was done to my vehicle just the oil change that should of taken no more than 20 minutes. The appointment was made a few days in advance so I feel it shouldn't have taken so long. They were busy, I wouldn't of mind the wait if I just walked in without making an appointment. I have nothing negative to say about the staff..the wait was a little annoying. read more

*****UPDATE on 02-16-2018:: Got the call from Rick on 02-15-18 stating he would be in town. (He's upper management.) He gave us a time frame. He said he will be there at the time we agreed upon. Rick reassured he would personally be at the Firestone shop to meet us and help us get this issue resolved. We had today at 1400. Vehicle is at the Fort Carson Firestone on Chiles as I type this. No Rick to be found there, nothing. This is the reason I didn't want to take the vehicle back. Not only did he never show up at our scheduled meeting time, he didn't even bother calling. I'm not even sure he's management. He called from another store claiming to be from corporate. Is this how Firestone operates? Why? We've been polite and cooperative this entire time and for what? So far, the Firestone technician is saying the seal is faulty. That they have to use one with a better material. He showed us the seal and his explanation doesn't make sense. He was supposed to have the part at our 1400 appointment time. We waited for 2 hours for the small seal to be delivered from a nearby shop. The seal is a used part. So if we were not sitting here in the lobby staring at everyone, we would be getting a used part. After making us wait for another hour, they finally sent someone out to AutoZone to buy the seal and replaced it. I'm over this garbage. We're filing an ICE complaint. CG will see what you've done. I'll post again next week.***** Original Post from 02-07-2018:: Four long years of being a loyal customer and having no issues.... until today. On Saturday, 02-03-2018, we took our vehicle in for a service appointment about 2 separate issues. Both needed replacement parts. One job was done. The other was not. The male employee called us and stated that it was too difficult to get to the area and clean it to see if the small part needed replacement. (This small seal was the cause of a fluid leak so it was easy to monitor. The seal is also easy to clean/check/replace.) The employee proceeded to hold our vehicle and charge us for the work that was not done for the 2nd issue and the part not replaced for it. We took our vehicle back on 02-06-2018 and spoke to the two supervisors at the front desk and they called out in the shop for the manager, Mike. We gave one of the supervisors the work invoice from Saturday. Both supervisors immediately commented that they recognized the employee id number on the paperwork and that there have been problems with him before. Mike came up front a few minutes later. He personally took our keys and made it seem as if he would work on the vehicle himself. We've worked with Mike in the past and he has always done a great job. Mike supervised while a different employee replace the seal. The new seal is clearly and easily visible. Mike had our vehicle until late 02-07-2018, when he called us to pick it up. We had some small personal items stolen out of the back of the vehicle. We also noticed someone had messed with the time and only one radio station. (WTF) We got home and called the manager Mike.... he said to make a list and bring it in tomorrow. (Why, so all the stuff can make it out of that original employees possession? You know, the one who has had issues in the past and two supervisors in the front told us.) I really appreciate that the disgruntled employee was able to access our vehicle and there's no security cameras around. Cute.... real cute. read more

My experience here has been amazing. I was in a Finacial bind but I absolutely needed a new tire. Steve at the front desk advised me of several options that dropped my overall price down from 149 to 104. Surprisingly, I was also approved for a $900 credit limit with my fair credit score. This shop uses a private lender making their approval rate 60% which is higher than most places. They also conducted courtesy checks and advised me of everything needed done for me vehicle. I was in and out within 45 min as a walk in customer. This place is extremely convenient for military personnel. It's located within walking distance to the gym, PX and commissary. I've been here once before and had a good experience where they replaced my tire for cheap. I didn't have an appointment, so there was a wait, but the employees were friendly and I had a good experience overall. Today wasn't quite like that. There was only one employee working up front, and she was dealing with a long line of people while the phone was ringing off the hook. She was very patient and thorough with the first person in line, but by the time she got to me I felt her patience had run thin. She told me it would be a few hours to even get the tire looked at, and didn't offer an alternative like making an appointment to come back later. As always, many places upcharge or tell you services you "might need" or "should" get done regardless of the visit. You are there for brakes well, you now need an alignment, shocks, struts soon etc.etc...after I just had an alignment on my truck literally a week later they said I needed an alignment during the 10 dollar inspection. That same inspection costs 17.99 If you are getting it done for uber or Lyft though! Hah! Get your inspection done for free by Lyft. I went to this location after setting up and appointment to get new tires. They didn't have the correct tools in to get secure lugs off. Which is fine. But I purchased 4 new lugs non security to have replaced after they stripped the security ones off. But they didn't even put on the new lugs. So I was driving around on 4 lugs per tire until I noticed they didn't replace all of the lugs on. Which in a big way is dangerous. So I ask you why would you when I let a note and told the person at the front desk I had 4 replacement lugnuts? read more

I made an appointment 2 days ahead of time for a new set of tires. Dropped my car off over two hours early in hopes that they may be able to get in done earlier. I called one hour after the scheduled appointment time and they stated that it should be ready around 5 PM (the same time it was originally supposed to be completed). My son took his jeep in for an oil change and they tried to sucker him out of more money saying all these things were wrong with his jeep. It's bad enough they are trying to scam money from my 18 year old son but this Firestone is on Fort Carson and I am sure they are taking advantage of soldiers everyday. Shame on the Fort Carson for allowing this on post. If you ever think of taking your Vehicle there be careful of how they try to tell you they will give you a free check on all your hoses and clamps. These guys screwed me. Right before I went on winter leave I got a little excited doing doughnuts and hit a pothole, bending my control arm and inner tie rod end. Having a couple ASE certifications from my time as a civilian, I know my way around a car. I had it all pulled apart in the parking lot, looked everything over and decided I would pay the money to not have to freeze my ass off the day before I fly home. I had it towed to the the Firestone on post, they looked at it and agreed that the control arm and inner tie rod end where both bent like I told them. I understand they have to up charge on the parts because I worked in a shop and that's what we do, so when I got the bill for about $1000 it was understandable. All good, they called me a few hours after I dropped it off recommending a new battery and the inner tie rod on the other side be replaced. Having inspected my whole front end the day of the incident I knew there was nothing wrong and told them not to worry about it. I pick up my car, all is good. About a week later I notice the front wheel on the side they worked on is covered in grease. So I headed down to the auto center and put it on the lift myself to see what was going on. There was a huge tear in the CV axel boot and all of the grease was leaking out of it! I brought it right back to Firestone. They told me it was from the accident, but they could get me in to replace it right then. At this point, I reminded them that they recommended a new tie rod(that was fine) but didn't notice this. Not understanding what I was alluding to(them ripping the boot) they said they could fix it for me for the cost of the part(3x more than autozone). They did something wrong, they won't admit to it, and they just lost a customer. read more

Went in for new break pads, they called to up sell me after I declined they called back an hour later, to tell me that my calipers were stuck on my vehicle and they took it upon them selves to try any means necessary to get them off. This resulted in my piston getting stuck and they said I would need new calipers, and it will only cost an additional $488.00. The tech Mike never called to tell me there was issue or ask me if I would like for them to force this caliper off and if so tell me the risk and probable cost increase. I asked them to put the car back together, took it up the road to another firestone and what do you know, all they had to do was angle the tool slightly higher and the piston works great, (their tech took me into the garage to show me the easy fix) and the calipers do too. They were price gauging and were too lazy to truly fix the issue. Would have charged us almost 500 extra dollars for a very simple fix. Very untrustworthy. read more

I brought my car for a simple nail in the tire for a patch. They purposely offset the patch to say there was "two holes" and it was now unrepairable. My friend who was with me, who was a mechanic prior to joining the army, knew they purposely did this to make money on him after the remark "we could make more on an E-7" was made. They ultimately ended up putting a brand new tire on it and refunded me for the tire for their wrong doing. I would never trust this place. read more

It takes a lot for me to post a comment. Especially a positive comment. However, I notice a lot of negative reviews about time which is misleading for service members. I have taken my vehicles to two other places which were twice or more expensive than this Firestone on Fort Carson. Yes, they are extremely busy due to their low cost and military discount. So, the demand is high. They can be a week to three weeks out for an appointment. They are in high demand due to the lowest price around for service members.There is no other place that is best for service members to take their vehicles. They are monitored by the Federal Government, unlike other auto repair shops or tire shops off post. Why do I post a positive 5 star for the first time on any review. I recently had another horrible auto repair shop story, when I should have towed my vehicle to this shop. I rather tow my vehicle 60 miles to this shop, before I ever go to any other auto repair shop. Personal experience with this shop for over three years with three vehicles. Extremely annoyed!!! We bought the lifetime alignment and lifetime balance for our Toyota Tundra about 6 years ago. We've never bought tires from Firestone and have never had an issue before with having anything performed on them. We called Firestone to schedule an appointment for both considering we were about to put brand new tires on the truck we had just had delivered. The women who we spoke on the phone with informed us that the life time balance did not apply because it was only applicable for that particular set of tires we had on the truck at the time of purchase and that they needed to be from Firestone. I let her know we have had multiple sets of tires on the car in the six years since purchasing the lifetime package and that none of them have ever been purchased through Firestone. The women informed me she'd need to speak with her manager and after a brief hold all was remedied, or so we thought. My husband went to the auto skills center and put the tires on the truck and then the next day I arrived at Firestone to drop off the truck. Only after driving home and two hours later we received a phone call from Firestone informing us that the lifetime balance was NOT COVERED!! I informed her that the person who answered the phone last night had spoken with the manager and it was ok'd. The manager got on the phone and let us know that no one had spoke with him. He then asked how we'd like to proceed, I was pretty pissed considering if they had just been truthful in the first place we could have performed the balance when we had it at the auto skills center, but now they had us over a barrel considering we'd have to pay to use the auto skills center again or just pay them to have it balanced. We ended up having them balance the tires since it would be more money and hassle to take it back to the auto skills center a second time. The whole thing was pretty shady and unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend them. read more

Horrible. Absolutely horrible experience so far. I blew my driver side front tire out on Tuesday. Wednesday I bring the car two replace the front two tires. I knew my bushings were bad and contributed to my tire wear. After their inspection they told us the bushings were shot along with the right control arm being damaged. So instead of doing it my self I decided not to start wearing out my new tires by driving around with bad bushings left the car with them. They order the parts, they get the wrong parts. The parts we needed were not in town so we paid an extra $70 to have them overnighted. So I figured overnight by the time the order goes through and shipped they should be there first thing Friday. They tell us by 1pm Friday they will have the parts. We decide to go get our other car serviced oil change etc. around 3pm. We ask if the bushings and control arm were in the lady working their told us "yeah they are here and we are working on it it will be ready soon but just come by 6pm for and it will be for sure." We were heading up there a little early and we receive a call from them at 5:17pm and they tell us there was a problem at the warehouse and the parts are not in. So when we arrive Jaime is working the counter and tells us he's sorry there was a mixup FedEx didn't deliver, they deliver on Saturdays we have the tracking # it's in the state we will have it done tomorrow. Jaime made it clear that the lady was who we were dealing with, just left and he just got in (I'm sorry I don't remember her name). He also points to another upset customer and says "we are having problems with this mans car as well." why he told us this I don't quite understand. So today Saturday we called early 9am and they told us they parts are going to be in later via FedEx. We don't hear a thing all day we head up again around 5pm NO PARTS AGAIN. Jaime is there and tells us he can get us a rental on Monday "enterprise closed at noon" So instead of calling us and telling us "hey I can't get ahold of your parts we are going to go ahead procure a rental car for you before they close" they wait for us to show up. They don't even make the effort to get us a rental from the airport or even check because they are open we checked ourselves. What good does getting a rental, after I have to be at work on the they my car should be done!!! Some one on Fort Carson needs to whip these guys into shape, horrible customer service for our service men & women. If you can leave your car for a week and like have your time wasted and be inconvenienced, then this is the place for you! read more
